I think he missed 2 missiles in Crateria if you look on the map where the Samus ship is sitting, over on the most top left passage you reach a corner and drop down where 2 missiles are on each side....ive managed to get one missile on the right side but I cant figure out how to get the missile on the left side when falling through the floor I cant break the wall to get over to the side.
You might have figured itnout by now since your comment is 4 months old, but just in case you haven't, you need to just go back and do the exact same thing you did to get the missile on the right, but this time jump over to the left before you start falling through the blocks. You can't get both on the same visit to that room @danielblake1537
Well I’m here in 2021 playing this on my Nintendo Switch and this guide though 8 years old now still kills it! Thanks for the vid my man, you helped me find the last 3 missiles I needed! You rock!
I just finished with 99%. I'm glad this video exists, because I never would've remembered the one outside the Speed Booster chamber. Now I can finally get a 100% run under 3 hours. 😃
You can get Missile tank #16 and #17 in one go. Stand in the center of the crumbling blocks and when you're halfway in the room with the tanks, take one, then the other. Saves a lot of time backtracking. And you can get #24 without the Shinespark. Just do a speed boost and jump up in a clockwise angle towards the right wall. You may have to use a Wall Jump as well.
finally playing this game for the first time as part of a metroid binge and i really wanted to get everything before heading to tourian but after several hours of scouring the map i'd tracked down everything except missiles #7, 14, 27, 33 and 34 (plus i had to cheat a little bit because i somehow missed the false wall at the top-left of that room in norfair while trying to figure out how to get to the last power bomb pickup.) those last two missiles in brinstar was especially kicking myself for because i'd already noticed there was an impassable block in that room but then i totally forgot about it. thanks for the excellent and concise guide!
I played this game when it first came out and i play it probably every 6 months since, one of the best games ever made period,in all my years playing it the most missiles i ever got were 180,i just finished the game here a few days ago and i decided to check on how many missiles and bombs this game really had, just felt like searching for them all. Of course it wouldn't be possible without this video, some of them are really hidden, just watching this video has me amazed, Definitely a labor of love, thank you,
Super helpful video. I think the only missile unaccounted for is another in Maridia. It's inside a wall. Go to the broken (or non broken) glass tunnel and up the door in the roof. Go up the far left, tall room until you go through that next door that will lead you to another room. That room has fish and pink pirates. Jump over the first rocky outcrop and head down to where the pink pirate is at the bottom. Next just head straight to the right and you'll find a secret door. This secret room also has an Energy Tank I believe. The missile is inside the wall on the right. According to your map it'll show you the second "sector" down from the top. The missile is in that wall and just shoot everywhere and you'll find that missing missile!
To think I 100 percented this game 10 years ago without a guild or UA-cam...I'm surprised at myself, I can't find at least 6 now and I ended up coming here.
Thanks for these great guides, they were really helpful. Number 9 was the last one missing for me, it's really well hidden, you wouldn't think to look there. at least I didn't.
Great job I love how you showed exactly on the map where they are and then you showed us where they are in the game I would’ve done the same thing keep up the good work. 👍🏻
Tip: to get the one at 7:40, you can stand on the turtle when it's at the far wall and it jumps to exactly the height the missile is at. It's WAY easier than trying to cheese it like this
@5:04, the missile pack I'm looking for on Switch Online is left behind, that's why I also missed the other missile pack in Maridia where the Zebesian Turtle roam inside the wall. There's also the Power Bomb expansion that I missed at Brinstar in the room where you require the Grapple beam beneath of where you fought the spore boss.
Thank you for the guide. Just got 100% on my second ever play through thanks to this. Turns out in my haste I didn’t drop a power bomb in the room where you get powerbombs. Sometimes I’m dumb.
First time I've played was on 2019 on Nintendo Switch. But now decided to play a second time, with 100% completion. Was missing 1 missile and this helped. Thanks. Hope you do Metroid Dread guides.
Yeah, the timing isn't like what you'd expect from any other game. Once you're somersaulting into the wall, you press the opposite direction on the the d-pad and THEN the jump button about a millisecond later. The coolest part about Wall jumping in this game is that you can actually wall jump off of one wall over and over again.
I've got all 50 power bombs super missiles and all energy tanks I was able to find them on my own but damn the last missile I was missing was number 14 im pretty sure I scanned that room oh but it's right over the door some of these are so under your nose you can't find them. Thanks for the video Super Metroid rules!.
I wish they had gotten rid of the white dots after you get an item. Ugh 😑 unfortunately back then they didn’t think that way which makes your scavenger hunt for all items very very difficult that’s why you need to list them. And there is your solution to that problem. Your welcome. 😁

Carrying 230 missiles that explode on impact isn't impressive enough unless you can turn into a ball and bounce around while you're doing it. (yes, even with one free hand and a gun on the other) That's why spring ball is in the video despite the fact that it adds approximately 0 missiles to your missile count.
Missile 46 was the last one I got back in 1996 when I played this game originally. Since there was no youtube or guides I had to scan pretty much the whole map manually and this block did not appear on the scan. What a pain.
At 6:35 how did you bomb and bounce in the water while morphed? I looked it up in a guide and it says jump and morph and push over. Its a short jump and I morphed but couldn't push myself in still. I am pushing over.
(Two years later reply, but here's for people who has the same problem) The gravity suit allows Samus to move on water freely, if you're using the Varia Suit it'll be difficult to move on water
If you watch closely you will notice a very small peace of grass that indicates where you need to jump and toda you’ve got your missile. Hint go to the top where the missile is then fall back down all the way remember we’re that spot is and boom you got it on your first try.

You can get both in one try without having to take a second trip. Take a look with the X-Ray scope, you'll see 4 breakable blocks. You just have to jump onto the middle 2, so the blocks will crumble downward evenly on both side, then shoot out the rectangular blocks on both sides and jump off the crumbling blocks before you sink too far down. Now you can get both missiles provided you can make an accurate jump over the gap, or wait until you have space jump to get it easily
