Hello Latoya! I've found that your videos have been some of the most helpful on my KDP journey - *thank you so much* .I do have one question, though: when uploading a book to KDP, we shouldn't remove the background, correct?
Thank you! Glad to know they've been helpful! If you're referring to the KDP Cover Template - yes you can remove it from the background. Just tap on it and hit delete. 😊
@@LatoyaNicoleOfficial Thank you for your reply. What I mean is: I, also, design t-shirts (png) & before I upload them, I remove the background/make it transparent - that doesn't apply to books (pix) though, right?
@@foxcgem6065 no the background does not need to be transparent. It just needs to be a pdf document of exactly how you’d want it to look when printed.

KDP currently allows AI on their platform however for copyright questions you'd want to contact a lawyer or the copyright office for clarity.
