Waited 30 years to see him live and still can’t believe I was in this crowd tonight. I have been to loads of great gigs but this was without doubt, the best ever. Closed my eyes many times and just took it all in.
Wonderful. I had a similar experience when I went to Roger Waters. Hope to see David live too. Legends.

Unreal! Saw him do this in 1994 Pulse Concert and this man never ceases to amaze me how good he still plays. 78yrs old and still rocking with the best! Bravo Mr Gilmour!

Went last night on the opening night at the Albert Hall and shed a few tears, sat in a box it was amazing I will never forget it, enjoy.

Well then why why was he charging those outrageous prices in Italy? And for what? Disgusting! Making 3 Million Euros a concert and even get the big screen working, poor lights, song selection, has his daughter singing... Certainly NOT what I had paid for!

I don’t know about the prices, but they should have done a lot more rehearsing before they went on the road .
You expect top quality from DG and I’m sure he doesn’t want to feel embarrassed by some cringy mistakes,very noticeable when he plays High Hopes solo .
If it’s something he can improve on ,which gladly he has been improving then he should have rehearsed a lot more before the tour started ,especially if tickets cost a fortune.
@@christianprinceteachesisla1662 if you want to experience an almost authentic Floyd concert I highly recommend Australian Pink Floyd, they are touring now and they play better than DGs band .

Waited 30 years for this and finally got to see this gig sat in a box at the Albert Hall a night I shall never forget, it was amazing.
I've waited all of my life to see David Gilmour. I grew up on Pink Floyd, I'm 64 and was too in the audience. I have a feeling there will be no more tours after this one. You are a legend Dave Gilmour, you have made me a very happy woman. ❤

Saw Floyd at the old Wembley stadium in 88 for the momentary lapse of reason tour, it is by a country mile the best concert I've ever seen, the man is the goat
I was lucky enough to be at Earl’s Court in ‘94. I’ve been to some amazing gigs and seen some amazing artists but that was just otherworldly. Gutted to miss him this time, praying he might come back and do a few extra nights later in the tour.
Been 5 nights in Rome, he keeps getting better and better.

For me the very best,greatest and love live concert is the Pulse version. The lightning effects etc. specialy to all band members the best team ever.
Pulse was the greatest concert ever and that tour was the best Floyd tour ever. I have been to 200’concerts in my day. I wasn’t there but that comfortably numb solo in pulse the greatest ever

I was there 2 nights in a row in 1979/80 Earl’s Court Wall tour - same solo 44 years later - just wow 🙏

OMG. He's still got it. What a great performance. I can bearly stand up for an hour and I am 20 years younger than David, don't know how he can still do this. I cried watching this, so beautiful. Saw Pink Floyd at Earls Court 1981 and again at Wembley 1989 I think it was, this solo was at least as good as it was then.

I wish I could have made Royal Albert Hall shows, but I managed to get to Rome for the second last show. Even at an outdoor venue the show was pretty good. I just knew that once he got to the indoors, things would step up. I'm envious of all of you who have this show ahead of you!
I thought the 28.9 show was poor and felt cheated. 200Euros too, a rip off!

Rome was a scam! 200 Euros for a crap show, no lights, a dude dressed in black on a dark stage. What a rip off! The poor guys at the back got desperate and just ran to the front at the end - they were seeing absolutely nothing from the back, at around 150 Euros! Shame on these eventmakers, I'd demand a refund, but there's no chance of winning a case...
Great to see David starting to do his famous descending triplet run on the second solo again. Hadn’t seen it in earlier clips. Fantastic. Such a famous ‘Gilmour’ technique. 👌

I see that the Hendrix strap has been repaired!
It broke a few shows ago, there are videos showing the strap breaking during Comfortably Numb right before the 1st solo. David was able to quickly switch guitar right before the 1st solo.
They did manage to get it fixed in Rome.

absolutlry incredible performance, I shouldve been there tonight Friday 11/10/24, but illness from treatment, meant I had to cancel going. Comforabley Numb version absolute classic particulery with the extended outro. At least I had the presence of mind to purchase insurance when i brought the tickets in May, consequently able to recoup cost of ticket & travel, but would much sooner prfere to be there. Saw The original Wall concerts in 1980 at Earls court, can still visualise the plane crashing. Brilliant group Pink Floyd, but Dave Gilmour is superb, what a performer to keep doing all that at 78, dont know where he gets the energy from. Thankyou for this excellent video of possibly the best guitar solo ever
