Very satisfying song, beginning to end
Mid-old Opeth is still great to hear. New progression of Swedish progdeath. Very inspired by Swanö (who I believed produced this one) and Edge of Sanity. Next one, Benighed, the first step toward Damnation 👌🏻

It's been a while since the last time I checked one of your videos (well I had to wacth first The Moor reaction) because this is my favorite Metal album of all times, it is just perfect for me. It is also one of the best concept albums with its Shakespearean story and beautiful lyrics.

This is my favorite album from them with the fry vocals. And this song is my favorite from the album. I really love their newer stuff with all clean though. Pale communion is so damn good.

Ah yes.. the mighty Opeth..
I enjoyed most of this, I mean, the growling just isn’t my bag.
Quite a few years ago I saw a used PRS SE Mikael Akerfeldt signature model and trade cashed a Whammy pedal and some green. I liked the big “O” for my last name reasons… now I see that’s a little silly but it’s a good guitar.
Anytime Opeth is on I’ll listen.

Honest J here. Who knows, this might be great after the 2 min mark, but that was as far as i got before I thought... 'life's too short'. Think I just wasn't in the mood.
Everyone's experience is different. This was the first Opeth song I really sat down to actively listen to and that clicked for me. You need to get to that point around 4 minutes for this to really work. Opeth songs are often like a book with a longer foreword and slow first chapter, if that makes sense. However if you never ever can get into the growls, might be a bit more difficult.
I wasn't exactly expexting Opeth for the Easter weekend 😅
Not bad, but not music I have a lot of time for.
