Quickly covers the minimal parts replacement and tools required for general repair. Completely clean and with compressed air and blow through all internal passages for best results. (Although not performed in this video) Remove the needle and clear the jet it's sitting in. Always replace the metering diaphragm. When rebuilding the carburetor it is best to use hand tools to accurately judge how tight the screws are being placed. Power tools were used here for speed of reference. The part used here is a 95-526 Walbro metering diaphragm.

What about gaskets under and on top of the carb? Do you need them both places or just one?
If it's the metering diaphragm on top of the gasket. Pump/ primer side diaphragm goes against the face of the carb (or on bottom of the gasket).
Amazon has a Stens catalog with their complete line of parts. They have diaphragms in bulk. It is diaphragm only. Look on the carb. for Walbro or Zama. Check the number in it. A weed eater carb. is looked up by Make of the weedeater like Featherlite FL 20. Don't replace the needle valve. The spring is tricky. Make sure the intake gasket is there. Set lo mixture for highest RPM'S at idle and hi mixture for highest RPM'S at full throttle.

It would have been cool to see if it actually started and your fix worked.
If the primer don't prime, check the fuel line in the tank to see if it broke off in the tank. Drain the tank and look.
