I love this so damn much. I was raised being thrown into beauty pageants, dance, modeling, etc. my own mother used to make fun of me for being “flat chested”. The best memories I had, was farming with my Grandfather. I created my UA-cam channel to show women what we CAN do. I am raising my daughter to be capable and strong. Thank you for sharing your wisdom Billy.
You sound like a wonderful person to me! I just subscribed to your channel my friend
YES! Women are BRUTAL to one another, and it needs to stop. My dad taught me to be strong and independent. I CAN do many things that men typically do. I have the skills and experience. I also love being a homemaker, housewife, and helpmeet to my loving supportive husband. We can be all the things, but we also really need to support one another.
Thank you Billy. Very well said. God bless you for sharing this message.
I was blessed to have my mom. She put her self through pharmacy school in a time when women only went to college to find a husband. She then joined the Army Air Corps in WW2, where she met my dad. I saw her build a danish modern sofa (she bought her own tools, my dad was antsy about sharing) all while being the stay home mom. She taught me by example to just do what you love.
Those are the kinds of women that are true champions to me!
I’m a woman and I approve of this message 🥇
Thank you so much for your vote of confidence, my friend
Thanks, Billy!
My strength comes from my Daddy. He valued me as a child, not just a girl. He took much pride in my accomplishments and it makes me more confident in whatever I choose to do!
That’s what I’m talking about
Amelia Earhart is one of my favorite historical women. Everybody remembers that she went missing. That's all most people know.
Not only was she a skilled pilot who made and broke many world records, she was also a professor at numerous colleges and had a seat on the board of directors at Boeing.
She succeeded in an environment of powerful, hostile, angry men who were extremely envious of her and felt she did not belong because she was a woman. Nevertheless, she prevailed.
Also, she pioneered a wristwatch for Omega that determined altitude based on barometric pressure way back in 1937. Amazing lady.
I know you don't have the time to do more content because of your efforts on your homestead but oh how I wish you did! I so look forward to your "Poarch Talks" and the insight you bring to us.
Thank you so much for that vote of confidence, my friend. I’m going to try to put a higher focus on it.
Truth! We all have our issues, but we MUST show compassion and love to those who aren't in the place we are...stop watching TV and be free
Amen.
I had no arguments with that comment!
Great message Billy! I wish that more women and young ladies could hear this and have the message supported.
Great porch talk video Billy. So true & very well said. Thanks for sharing 😇🙏🏻🙌🏻❤️
Glad you enjoyed it!
WOW!! Anyone watching more than 1 video of yours knows better!!! Love ya Billy, but the videos of Michelle analyzing soil analysis & recommending remedies are SO powerful! Takes a strong man to stand with a strong woman.
AMEN!
I’m right there with you, Traci.
This month, That month Ad Nauseum! But if you really want to read about women's history read, "Eve in Exile," by Rebekah Merkle.
I’ll have to add that to the list!
Love your porch videos Billy. ❤
Thank you so much, Travis!
My neice drives the big fire truck for our county. Shes badass
That’s what I’m talking about!
My Mom was one of the first female firefighters in our county. She put herself through 40hr fire standards and first responder school. She did that while raising 3 kids by her self. Thank God for badass women.
I remember one time my own mother told my daughter that makeup makes you pretty. I looked at my mom and said dont ever say that to her! My daughter is 17 she lives makeup, but she is a blue belt in Karate, bow hunter, plays Rugby and loves being in the wrestling team. I told her makeup might enhance your looks but you are beautiful just the way you are!
One of my neighbour's daughter who trained as a mechanic and now is a Can. PACIFIC train engineer.
Women can do anything, Jane!

You sound like the kind of person that won’t let that stop you! Bravo, my friend!
Right on Billy! Thank you! Blessings to you and your family my friend 💖🙏🏻
Thank you and blessings to you and yours, Cami!
I wish I could like this over and over and over! Amen Billy!
They are HILARIOUS, STUNNING and BRAVE.... OBEY !!!
Thank you Billy, I enjoyed your talk.
Thank you so much, my friend!
I think every woman has a fight in her or something that she can stand for but sometimes they either need a little push or they need some type of encouragement so where I live, I’ve lived here all my life, and I’ve always been a strong person, but I wasn’t active in my community about 10 years ago. Someone came up to me and asked me to Join a committee and they said we know we hear that you’re the one people come and talk to you I had a business and ice cream shop for 20 years so I did know pretty much everybody in the neighborhood but this was instilled in me. my mother was a Business owner she always had a business of her own And was a community leader in her grow up Neighborhood, so I guess I just followed her footsteps until today I’m still very active in my community. I’m actually a community activist. I fight for people around here. I fight for a lot of the senior citizens the schools I’m on all the boards of the schools around here. I fight for the neighborhood when the city wants to implement things that shouldn’t be I FIGHT 💪🏽💜
That’s what I’m talking about! You’re either an activist… Or an inactive-ist.
Thank you. I wish you and Michelle were our neighbors. We would have so much fun together.
Maybe one day!
Thank you Billy. As long as we have the strength & knowledge to do what we want to we can do it. Also, we can still be girly & do a masculine job for those that think you have to be manly. Luckily, my parents raised 4 girls & taught us to think that we can do anything if we put our mind to it.
Great words Mr Billy!! Thx!
Thank you for weighing in Pete!
Bring it brother!
Thank you so much, my friend
Women are the WORST critics of other women. I'm 58 and not the "ideal" body type and it's only in the past ten years that I check myself on judging other women by their appearance or how they present themselves. I'm proud that my daughter is gorgeous but that's not where she finds her worth. Her work ethic, common sense, empathy and momma are her cornerstones. ❤
You sound like a beautiful person to me!
Amen!
Thank you so much, my friend!
".... and take the Tarter Sauce with you." I love it -
That’s the only way to go!
The truth needs to be said out loud more often than not. My wife is my hero, she can out work most men around, even with her broken hand. As always Billy, thank you for your content! 🎉
Thanks for this, Billy.
Thank you so so much, my friend!
Thanks Billy
Thank you, Lori!
Damm billy always hitting the bullseye !
Thank you so much, Ivan!
Bless you for this, I love all of your front porch talks but this one made me start tearing up. I grew up hearing that EXACT thing from my dad, "If you're lucky you'll grow up pretty enough to catch a doctor or a lawyer". Now I'm in my 30s still struggling with the concepts of identity and self-worth. Keep up the good work, my friend!
When I told my Dad I wanted an Aeronautics degree he said what are you going to do with that. Women are nurses or teachers. He wouldn’t pay a penny for that. I told him Hide and watch dad then worked and got a student loan…and my aeronautics degree.
You are exactly the kind of woman that is a champion to me!
Great thoughts Billy. As a woman I also believe that young girls today are looking up to the fake and shallow celebrities. There's nothing wrong with celebrating the women who made a true mark in history. Personally my problem is with the feminist movement that tries to cancel strong male figures and the need for fathers in the family structure. Stay safe and God bless.
Amen brother
Thank you very much Paul
Maybe some day we will get it right. I hope so.
Nice work, Billy. Still waiting for the bonfire/kegger invite at the homestead. 😅 🍺
Good Stuff Billy!!!!
Thank you so much, my friend! You’re one of those awesome ladies!
Thanks!
Thank you for checking it out, my friend!
Very very good supporting words for women and frankly for everyone. So true of words are said. Billy is another Les Brown who is tops in encouragement. Great video
Thank you so much, my friend!
❤❤❤thank you friend!!!
I teach 2nd grade. Part of our curriculum is to teach how to research and write biographies. The people the kids have chosen in the past have been okay (not controversial). The way things have been the past few years, though, we decided to provide a list (one teacher had John Cena on her list--I told her to rethink that one). I decided to tell kids to choose someone they have never heard of before, meaning not Taylor Swift or her boyfriend, etc. They chose wisely. I always teach about Harriet Tubman since her story is one of my favorites, and it becomes one of their favorites. I take advantage of pointing out that other women were very accomplished pilots, they just weren't as famous as Earhart because they didn't get the attention. I use Rudolph & Griffith-Joyner to point out the reason why men should not be competing in women's sports. And, you are correct, women can be the worst to other women (but also the best). Sorry, I could go on & on about all this. Thanks for bringing it up.
I just learned about Cherokee Confederate General Stand Waitie. I never knew that that some Natives joined the Confederacy and went to war against the Union. They broke treaties and yet people wonder why they were treated harshly in the Oklahoma’s early history. We wonder why because we were never taught. I never knew until my 50 year journeyman electrician department some knowledge to me.
#JustKeepPIMPing
I remember learning about him from meetings with the sons of Confederate veterans. If I remember correctly, they have a pretty decent memorial to him down in Lawton Oklahoma… that’s if the woke crowd hasn’t destroyed it yet.
Good and worthy message. Thanks brother
Dont threaten me with a good time! Lol thank you
That’s what I’m talking about Helen!
awesome video. thank you.
You can go after Moby Dock in a row boat and take the tarter sauce with you…😂 I have never heard this before.
Just ….. Amen sir , Amen
Great!❤
❤❤❤
Thx B
Last thing you want is a quick alley fight with Vera- Eddie Murphy
Ha ha!
I love that we only ever celebrate the women that work outside the home and forget the mom. We seem to never acknowledge them as heroes or worth looking up to. Why is feminism only about women leaving the home? Women can’t choose to be housewives anymore. It’s not acceptable.
I like the way you roll
Being a wife is more than a full time job. You add motherhood and you add on another full time job +. Definitely stronger organization and task management skills than I could achieve. Deep respect for the dedication, strength and skills that it takes jubilee!
Margaret Court and Yvonne Coolagong Cauley who won grand slam tournaments after having children.
❤👏👏👏☕️👋RIGHT -I Hear Ya!
Thank you so much!
My dad was an Irish immigrant who married an Irish woman here in the states. My parent’s influence on me was about “ the American dream” and hard work. There was no “ racial” element or “Male/female” element. Men and women are “different” in numerous ways. Men and women are the same in numerous ways. “Individuals” are who we deal with in life. I can weld, but your wife is probably a better welder than me. Both of you are way more knowledgeable than me when it comes to permaculture but that is in a direct relationship to time. My wife is much better at x,y,z. I’m a Bible believing Christian and God has defined our “roles” and relationships for our life here on earth. God, husband, wife, children - in that order when it comes to a family relationship. If wife is stronger, smarter, better welder than husband, so be it.
I have always encouraged my daughter to be herself in spite of what the world tells her she should be. She loves woodworking and furniture making, but unfortunately, due to her neurological issues, she is unable to do it for a living. So she's in engineering school.
When we know our worth in Christ it doesnt matter what any one thinks❤
It seems to be 2 extremes these days…don’t be strong in spirit (your wife) and do OR don’t lean towards traditional life (my mother who was a stay at home that, sewed and helped raise/preserve our food) and be strong in spirit. Instead be “boss” to the point of misery (Oprahs) OR be frivolous (Kardashians). I know who deserves a month.
OJ Simpson defeated childhood polio to rush for 9,000 yards, but nobody talks about that either!!!!!!
Wait what?!?
I had no idea! He also did a pretty good job running from the police.
Women who marry doctors have to be a very resilient. They may have money, but they probably have to work in the surgery 6 days a week plus bring up the children and run the house.
What will April be. Alcohol or Stress Awareness month. Maybe Arab America or Autism month. My favorite would be Earth 🌎 Month. 😅😅😅
I definitely see your point!
I hoped you would have said iron my shirt
But women are your priority.
Great video.
And it'd be nice if there wasn't a sex/gender history month or a race history month. But as you said, just a history month. Share all the great achievements that the various women accomplished, even how we got from being regarded not much better then livestock to today. The men, what they helped accomplish or did/good & bad. Same with the Native Americans, the Chinese, Japanese, etc.
This country is more then woke, transgenderism, the confused alphabet or rainbow.
My dad should us girl's some stuff mechanically & welding (I love both) but just enough to not to have to depend on a guy to fix my rigs. Most don't like that. 😅😅
I definitely see where you’re coming from my friend.
When can we plant apple trees in western North Carolina great yideo
I'd like to listen to your podcast. What's the name of it?
The permaculture P.I.M.P.cast
Women's history month, men don't even get a day? 🤔
We have Father’s Day… Which is really an invitation to go out and do more work. Ha ha!
@@PermaPasturesFarm21 right you are, but if we didn't work, the whole world shuts down. Men are responsible for over 85% of the world's productivity. Can we just get one day? National mens day?
Hahaha
I always look forward to women's history month, every weekend of the month I go to Subway just so the woman behind the counter can make me a sandwich...
Bwahahahaha!!! 😂
Is it wrong to laugh at this? Ha ha!
