I love this so damn much. I was raised being thrown into beauty pageants, dance, modeling, etc. my own mother used to make fun of me for being “flat chested”. The best memories I had, was farming with my Grandfather. I created my UA-cam channel to show women what we CAN do. I am raising my daughter to be capable and strong. Thank you for sharing your wisdom Billy.

YES! Women are BRUTAL to one another, and it needs to stop. My dad taught me to be strong and independent. I CAN do many things that men typically do. I have the skills and experience. I also love being a homemaker, housewife, and helpmeet to my loving supportive husband. We can be all the things, but we also really need to support one another.
Thank you Billy. Very well said. God bless you for sharing this message.

I was blessed to have my mom. She put her self through pharmacy school in a time when women only went to college to find a husband. She then joined the Army Air Corps in WW2, where she met my dad. I saw her build a danish modern sofa (she bought her own tools, my dad was antsy about sharing) all while being the stay home mom. She taught me by example to just do what you love.

My strength comes from my Daddy. He valued me as a child, not just a girl. He took much pride in my accomplishments and it makes me more confident in whatever I choose to do!

Amelia Earhart is one of my favorite historical women. Everybody remembers that she went missing. That's all most people know.
Not only was she a skilled pilot who made and broke many world records, she was also a professor at numerous colleges and had a seat on the board of directors at Boeing.
She succeeded in an environment of powerful, hostile, angry men who were extremely envious of her and felt she did not belong because she was a woman. Nevertheless, she prevailed.
Also, she pioneered a wristwatch for Omega that determined altitude based on barometric pressure way back in 1937. Amazing lady.

I remember one time my own mother told my daughter that makeup makes you pretty. I looked at my mom and said dont ever say that to her! My daughter is 17 she lives makeup, but she is a blue belt in Karate, bow hunter, plays Rugby and loves being in the wrestling team. I told her makeup might enhance your looks but you are beautiful just the way you are!

I think every woman has a fight in her or something that she can stand for but sometimes they either need a little push or they need some type of encouragement so where I live, I’ve lived here all my life, and I’ve always been a strong person, but I wasn’t active in my community about 10 years ago. Someone came up to me and asked me to Join a committee and they said we know we hear that you’re the one people come and talk to you I had a business and ice cream shop for 20 years so I did know pretty much everybody in the neighborhood but this was instilled in me. my mother was a Business owner she always had a business of her own And was a community leader in her grow up Neighborhood, so I guess I just followed her footsteps until today I’m still very active in my community. I’m actually a community activist. I fight for people around here. I fight for a lot of the senior citizens the schools I’m on all the boards of the schools around here. I fight for the neighborhood when the city wants to implement things that shouldn’t be I FIGHT 💪🏽💜

Women are the WORST critics of other women. I'm 58 and not the "ideal" body type and it's only in the past ten years that I check myself on judging other women by their appearance or how they present themselves. I'm proud that my daughter is gorgeous but that's not where she finds her worth. Her work ethic, common sense, empathy and momma are her cornerstones. ❤

Great thoughts Billy. As a woman I also believe that young girls today are looking up to the fake and shallow celebrities. There's nothing wrong with celebrating the women who made a true mark in history. Personally my problem is with the feminist movement that tries to cancel strong male figures and the need for fathers in the family structure. Stay safe and God bless.

I teach 2nd grade. Part of our curriculum is to teach how to research and write biographies. The people the kids have chosen in the past have been okay (not controversial). The way things have been the past few years, though, we decided to provide a list (one teacher had John Cena on her list--I told her to rethink that one). I decided to tell kids to choose someone they have never heard of before, meaning not Taylor Swift or her boyfriend, etc. They chose wisely. I always teach about Harriet Tubman since her story is one of my favorites, and it becomes one of their favorites. I take advantage of pointing out that other women were very accomplished pilots, they just weren't as famous as Earhart because they didn't get the attention. I use Rudolph & Griffith-Joyner to point out the reason why men should not be competing in women's sports. And, you are correct, women can be the worst to other women (but also the best). Sorry, I could go on & on about all this. Thanks for bringing it up.

I just learned about Cherokee Confederate General Stand Waitie. I never knew that that some Natives joined the Confederacy and went to war against the Union. They broke treaties and yet people wonder why they were treated harshly in the Oklahoma’s early history. We wonder why because we were never taught. I never knew until my 50 year journeyman electrician department some knowledge to me.

I love that we only ever celebrate the women that work outside the home and forget the mom. We seem to never acknowledge them as heroes or worth looking up to. Why is feminism only about women leaving the home? Women can’t choose to be housewives anymore. It’s not acceptable.

My dad was an Irish immigrant who married an Irish woman here in the states. My parent’s influence on me was about “ the American dream” and hard work. There was no “ racial” element or “Male/female” element. Men and women are “different” in numerous ways. Men and women are the same in numerous ways. “Individuals” are who we deal with in life. I can weld, but your wife is probably a better welder than me. Both of you are way more knowledgeable than me when it comes to permaculture but that is in a direct relationship to time. My wife is much better at x,y,z. I’m a Bible believing Christian and God has defined our “roles” and relationships for our life here on earth. God, husband, wife, children - in that order when it comes to a family relationship. If wife is stronger, smarter, better welder than husband, so be it.

It seems to be 2 extremes these days…don’t be strong in spirit (your wife) and do OR don’t lean towards traditional life (my mother who was a stay at home that, sewed and helped raise/preserve our food) and be strong in spirit. Instead be “boss” to the point of misery (Oprahs) OR be frivolous (Kardashians). I know who deserves a month.

And it'd be nice if there wasn't a sex/gender history month or a race history month. But as you said, just a history month. Share all the great achievements that the various women accomplished, even how we got from being regarded not much better then livestock to today. The men, what they helped accomplish or did/good & bad. Same with the Native Americans, the Chinese, Japanese, etc.
This country is more then woke, transgenderism, the confused alphabet or rainbow.
My dad should us girl's some stuff mechanically & welding (I love both) but just enough to not to have to depend on a guy to fix my rigs. Most don't like that. 😅😅
