James heads out for a solo stroll south from Gilling West, passing Laneside Farm and Low Pastures, before climbing the hill and taking the track to Olliver. After stopping to admire the view, he heads back past Gascoigne Farm to cross Gilling Beck, then walks along Scurragh Lane as the sun gets low, finally turning to head for home at dusk.
