My grandma would sprinkle some on a handkerchief and give it to me when I felt nauseous. Really worked.
Try Tom Ford’s Neroli Portifino it’s his version of 4711. Big price difference of course for a similar vibe.
Mfks who sniffed the First batch be Like : ☠☠☠
Its a lovely fresh smell straight after a shave or a shower, some guys dont want to be stinking of aftershave all day long it suits me, lovely in the summer.
As you said, very natural and absolutely timeless. It indeed doesnt last for long, but thats what a cologne is made for, rather a refreshing splash than an actual parfume. It is a very comforting scent without a real alike.
Splash! So elegant, I need try it!
Neroli Portofino is the smooth blend of this cologne.
4711 lasts 2 hours tops. Cheap enough to carry an atomizer with you for a quick refresh
I think that's what this is made for. 800ml for 20 something dollars, also weak, mostly only top notes so purely for freshening..if this is my scent of the day I'm going with 100 or so sprays per wear split up through the day
@profound369 good plan lol. And 4711 is a great scent, just gotta carry that atomizer with you on the go because it WILL require refresh after refresh. It's inexpensive enough to just buy a bottle and leave it wherever...car, office, second car, home, bathroom, the club, the bar lol. Just leave a bottle errrwhere
Off subject but I always notice editing things in videos since I have been making my own and the "pop" you used when you introduced @revesdefragrance channel was so satisfying 😂
Thanks for information!!
I am absolutely obsessed with this fragrance! It is absolutely beautiful! I have several bottles of it! Have it in body wash, soap, tissues and body spray! I have to layer it as it doesn't last long. I prefer old school unisex scents. ADP Colonia, L'Eau Sauvage and Guerlain's Imperiale Cologne are my other favourites and are very similar but they last longer.
I cant sadly find an unexpired one in my country... how lucky of you... they do come back in smell if you sweat or stuff which is nice tbh or anxiety
Guerlain's Imperiale Cologne the bottle has the imperial French bees on it it seems... probs the eau de cologne 4711 was the target copy
@@user-uv9zr8qs2c 4711 was the original. Imperiale was the copy.
Perfect for Summer Nights. It does not last long, but it cools and calms very well. I use it in the summer for my bedtime (hot summer nights). Desinfects also very well. You can layer it with other heavier fragrances to make them fresher and lighter. It is also available with a sprayer. Have 2 of the 800 ml bottles. 😉
Making it last longer is actually really easy. First take a hot shower, after drying use scent free lotion, and then the 4711, it even last longer if you put on thin layer of vaseline before the 4711
MASTERPIECE
Don’t want to be that person but John Maria farina eau de cologne was actually the first cologne made in 1709. 4711 was very popular and heavily marketed as original eau de cologne so that’s where the confusion comes into play. 4711 wasn’t created until 1792. Both created in cologne Germany just decades apart..
Love your passion for frags, Erica. You have such a soothing voice as well.
I own it and think it’s lovey, I brought the small bottle and now have the extra large bottle
The first alcohol based perfume was 'Eau de la Reine d'Hongrie', made in the late 14th century.
maybe BUT they are speaking about the REAL THING from Cologne.....
only 1390s kids remember that shit!
Very cool. I just found out about this after getting into Neroli Portofino by Tom Ford. Maybe I’ll pick up a bottle just to learn more about the history of fragrance
They are very similar.
Put the cologne in a spray bottle that’s what I do when I get a splash bottle
i love a good splash cologne for what its meant for my favourite be alvarez gomez colognia concentrada
A lot of Italian scents kind of smell like it, definitely been very influential!
Your eyes are so captivating.
I love this content new sub
Happy to connect with you here 🥰🥰🥰
@@eauderica thank you and you are naturally funni
It is a nice scent but you could spill the whole bottle on and it would disappear within 15 minutes.
Where did you buy your necklace (gold choker)?
First invented in Cologne, over 250 years ago.... M & W company is still there and recipe is still secret....
I want to smell it! And the famous Brut, i want to try!
Bruit is strong use to wear it as a kid
@@bombay3201 not as strong today as it used to be 🤷🏽♂️
It smells really nice but its like 15 mins before it goes away
It's great but I wish they made a longer lasting eau de parfum flanker of it *with an atomizer lol
Girl ur so wonderful bless
Blesss ❤❤❤ u girl
Acqua di S.M. Novella, is the oldest fragrance of the Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella it was created in 1533.
FYI this is also a spiritual cologne, sometimes I put some in my mop water to cleasne my house
I wasn't expecting Graham Hancock to be referenced in this video.
Yep a classic to splash with gay abandon,on the hottest of days ,sadly it vanishes within the hour maybe less 👌🏻
For what another UA-camr says it is the very first Cologne. first it was made to drink then Napoleon told the guy to use as fragrance or something and Napoleon was bad with names called it the 4711 street so therefore the name 4711
I am wearing CK One Shock for men today.
You like it?
I have it too, and I seem to need to be in a right mood to wear it..
Graham Hancock podcast is fantastic 👍👍👍👍
Perhaps you'll like spice n black vanilla By Cremo 😝🤙🤙
4711 is knows as a ritual water , cleanser etc used by people who practice witchcraft or in a occult as well as florida water and alcoholado.
shame on them then!
U can imagine the brothels at that time 🤔😂
Never get the sprayer version, clumsily dropping the wrong amount every time is a ritual with 4711.
I have also same problem
😂😂😂
Pacco rabanne Pour Homme next ?
That'll be Good one 👍
it's nice,but only lasts about 20 minutes
Great video. I sent you a package and an email. I hope you received them 😊
Is it unisex
Perfume , colognes , body cream etc doesn’t have genitalia….. Use what you want.
Works great as an emergency disinfectant too! 😆AHHHH! It burns!!! 😱🤣 I.e. On surfaces other than skin. And eyeballs. Hmmmm. 🤔 Emergency mugger deterrent?
Okay so basically napoleon freggin invented perfume without even noticing 😂. You see tiktoker kids proud of mastering a 5 moves dance these days.
If you drink it, it will give you eternal youth?
Sorry. But 4711 is not the first cologne. "Eau de Cologne" by Farina has been produced in Cologne since 1709 and is still available today. This makes it the oldest perfume still produced in the world today. After Farina's success, Wilhelm Mülhens launched his version in 1803, which is now marketed as 4711. Today, 4711 is many times better known around the world than Farina's original. But if you want to smell like Napoleon 😉 you have to buy the original from Farina.
Thanks Professor
@@shanedm3396 You're welcome. I'm always happy to enlighten the uninformed 😉.
@@Reffiefp I sit at your feet, entranced
theres no evidence that the cologne he used is this one tho.. its just widely spread
Well the recipe was stolen from Farina actually from what Ive read and thats how this cologne still exists in the first place..... so youre partially wrong, the Farina one hasnt been done for about 60 years then N used it
Great video. I sent you nothing.
Ummmmm, I think history is set in stone.
this baby for 20 bucks? 20 usually gets you the biggest 800ml bottle...
But you wouldn’t wear it! Lol I’m good haha
It doesn't last
It’s Eau de cologne. Naturally a quickie frag
We germans hate this horrible cheap smell. It's the worst Perfum on earth. Only very old grandmas buy it. I wonder why you like it.
Because their grandmas don't wear it. They don't have that reference and unlike you are not biased.
what a bullshit comment
