Stealing is so low... I am glad that you do not lose heart, but push on! I have just found your channel and I am going through some of your older videos. I love how faith, love and life all comes together for you in your videos. It is very inspiring! I also bring Christ into everything I do, so it is great to find videos made by one of like mind. Thank you for your videos, sir.
One of the biggest reasons why I watch your channel is to see your example of poise in the face of frustrating set backs. Whenever I hit big set backs in projects, I get really frustrated, but your example shows me that working through frustration to find solutions is just apart of the process.
Hello to you and your crew, I have been slow and steady in my projects( re- off grid Cabin/ property , and attempting to save a near century old Timber cabin originally assembled with wood dowels and may have had a sod roof at one point.) My projects are 2 hrs from were I live and being disabled, I have need help for certain steps of the process. I have a friend whose son Builds Houses and they call me once and a while to pick up unused material from their next to completed building and I have collected lots of stuff that way. My time is to be better planned for next spring so I hope to have shelter to visit later on in 2015. I enjoy your videos and have watched your stove install and a few others, great job and it is cool to see that the whole crew( your family ) involved. I too have a Van with some similarities to your only mine is 1983 GMC and it too is grey ( lol ) , I bought it almost 8 years ago and it has only 45,000 miles to date. ( I can camp out on my property while I try to keep moving forward on the buildings). Good feedback on the firearm topics and yes I did notice you were carrying ( a sidearm ) and for sure a person is not required to blow stuff up or burn rounds on Full Auto etc. Up here in Canada and anywhere for that matter, if the criminals want firearms, they do not take the government courses or follow guidelines to obtain them and I feel that a person is responsible to protect family, property etc and waiting 10 or more minutes for Police is life or Death in most home invasion scenarios. good videos.......keep em coming!
I have sent you several messages. I love your videos. My friends and I have been from church to church , trying to find one that goes straight out of the bible. We have been doing our own Bible study's and finally got a church to use! Praise The Lord. I have enjoyed your Bible study's. I live in Portland. I'm sure your somewhat close. I'm a general contractor and outdoorsman. Thank you for all of your efforts and I look forward to more videos, and I hope Bible study's !
Sorry about the cabins wood I just started watching your channel. Wow what responses I am nit surprised about study you were going to do. I is amazing to read al these coments. I am a Jewish believer in Jesus last year I died 3 times I am a walking and now hosting a Tue. evening Bible study all that come are under 30 I am 30 years older Its a total blessing.
Cody. I know this is an old video and you and others will likely not read this comment, but I have followed your cabin build videos and know well the amount of work that took to build those pieces0. I was so disheartened when you informed us it was stolen from you (I actually read about it in your book). I am happy you restarted timber framing again. That and the abandoning of the off-grid property would have driven most people to complete despair. You have unbelievable fortitude. My hat is off to you sir.
Truly enjoyed the cabin videos, my brother and I purchased a small track of land and began to build, we too had our timber and lumber stolen from the site. I can relate to all the hard work in the project, but we move forward. Keep up the great work and god bless !
I enjoy your videos and appreciate how you unapologetically bring your faith into everything. Count me in for a bible study! I will be interested to hear how that is going to pan out. God bless
I believe this is the first video I watched that was recorded whole while driving. Glad you did it safely. Sorry about the cabin loss. Thank you for what you've posted. And I hope you don't stop! You're awesome take care of yourself.Very good Sir. I am glad to see that you are a man of God.I applaud your faith and stand for Christ. God bless you brother.
@Thingamujigger I would agree with you. If this was all life had to offer I would not want to live another second. This is not my home I am pilgrim in a strange land.
Totally agree with what you said about men and the church. Definitely interested in the Bible study - unfortunately I wanted to follow it previously and you mailed me the materials (thank you!) but I didn't get to stick with it. I really want to. I watched some of the earlier videos and found them very interesting and informative. I am committed to seeing this one through and delving deeper into God's word so that I can be more like the man He would have me be. Thanks for all you do!
I've been going back watching these older videos, some are second or third time. I miss the Christian stuff. It's one of the ways in was fed in a real and entertaining way. If you see this just know I respect your faith and knowledge. Thanks!
Great update Cody. Some vangering news, and a lot of good news. I look forward to your study. The time differance is tough, as I prefer to join live. Lots of great ideas, I look forward to seeing them materialize.
Very impressive, sir. To put that much time into a project, then have it stolen, and your attitude is “that’s okay, I’ll just do it again better”. Very impressive. You must be a good parent.
Praise the Lord Pass the Ammo. I just found your site. Its great. Talk about The Lord all you want. I enjoy watching your videos and hearing about the lord. Keep up the Great work!!!
Fella i have just sat on my computer for about 3 hrs watching your videos...I love all the hard work that you have done. I surely hope that you find out who did this. Best of Luck with the next build.
Your family is so lucky to have you. A man that is working so hard to protect and free your family from the rot that has taken over the hearts and minds of the population. I live in the city and planning on selling my house and finding a little piece of land to homestead. Where I live I grow my own veggies and my neighbors look at me like am crazy until the fruits of my labor is ready to be picked. But I enjoy sharing my food with them because am trying to silently let them know that they can grow their own too but so far it hasn't worked Lol.
potent! words are very potent...constructed to convey a narrative as truth. at first I thought the videos were more documentary in nature. now i realize this is a "reality" show. thank you for the info on all the tools and techniques! subbed!
glad i found your channel. really great topics. i hope to completely change my life, if we get through the next few decades without total calamity. also i wish i moved out west as a few friends of mine did after high school. despite the cold winters, i love winter, its a better place to be if the fan gets hit.
Cody, when I see people breaking in on Christmas and stealing children gifts and no remorse , stealing your lumber it is just crazy. Also reading some of the comments and the language people use is more than crazy. I know that this a few years ago but I for one would love to do a Bible Study!
I'm in the same boat as Mrzoo2012. These videos are WONDERFUL !! I love getting into the big forests in northern MN. and spend time at the shack. I can now work much more safely and enjoy my time even more. Have you ever read the Bible or your daily devotional in the forest? WOW!!
after watching you clips, learning now that you had your cabins framework done and it got stolen--at first i thought you had it completed and stationary--but i do admire the way you hold your temper and dont let the theft poision you--maybe its the power of forgiveness--someone told me that holding a resentment is like taking poision and expecting the other fellow to die-- keep on keepin on
WHAAAAAAAAA.... I Just found this video series folowed them, seen them, learned from them and now someone stole your cabin! I agree with you. The power of kindness... I thank you for your video's I learned a lot from them. Now building my own, some where in Varmland Sweden! A warm greeting from Sweden. TimBeau
Hi Cody. I am watching your vids slowly from beginning and thought you get this project till a good end, but people are jealous and will do everything to break your legs. Head up, you are very skilful. You will make a new cabin and better than before. Keep going. I wish you and your family the best.
wow i spent most of my Saturday watching you build this very nice frame structure.and to find out someone had taken all your hard work. i wish nothing but bad luck for the person who took all that timber frame
Cody,, Have been watching your video's for the past couple of weeks and I have really enjoyed them. You have motivated me to do some projects that I have put off. The reason I am responding to this video is because of your comments on the emaciation of men. I totally agree. I know I am replying to a video from 2012, but are still doing your bible study? I would love to be a part of the study.
i loved this and i would have been interested in. if you ever do it again post about it i would look into it. also u should call "retreats" advances. real men dont retreat they advance. also word of encouragement i am always moved when watching your vids. you have such eloquence and when u witness it always hits home and in perfect timing. much love and god bless.
Never mind the cabin for now, i really appreciated your discussion about Church and manhood . I do not consider myself Christian or Muslim Or Jew. I don't consider myself a religious man at all and this is in part due to some of the same points you brought up in this video. I'm not saying i don't study scripture , whether they be Christian or Islam or Jewish. I probably study them more so than the average practitioner and i strive to employ what wisdom I glean from them in my life. My point here is that you seem very much true and sincere and i appreciate your insights, Thanks .
Booo!!!! That is devastating, I just watch all the videos up to this and was really enjoying your work. You are a awesome woodworker! I would of cried and still be crying. I do believe in karma and know that they will get theirs. Thank you for what you've posted. And I hope you don't stop!
Love the videos. Good to hear your a brother in Christ. I grew up feeling like the week little brother and now I'm a man who lets dout and fear keep me down. I know God wants me to be stronger and is working on me but I think I hold myself back but I don't know how to get out of my own way and let god work.Sorry rambling.Great videos.
Hey great to hear from you again as always. I think what you do out there on the west coast speaks volumes to the east coast. Please add me to your Bible Study program listing. I look forward to it.
Hello, I am just now trying to do my first timber frame building 16'X16'.. I am not sure how it will turn out but I'll do my best. I want to thank you for all the videos you have done and hope to use the skills you have shown. I like also what you are saying here about Church and I am interested in finding out more about your Bible study.
Ahhh, my heart sank a little when you mentioned the timber was stolen. Good to hear that you'll be getting a chisel in hand this spring. You do great work my friend. Take care
Your gratitude was so sincere it deserves a reply after reviewing the comments; and you are welcome! You have shown us a great deal. Thank you for your videos wranglerstar;-) keep us posted buddy!
I hesitated to "like" the video... Sad about all your work, but thank you for the testimony and sharing of your faith. I enjoy your videos; thank you for your time and sharing your knowledge.
i know exactly how you feel Cody. Me and my buddy were building A small trappers cabin about 2 miles from town. we walked there every time. hard work but i loved it. we had the floor done and we left it for a while. when we came back it was saw dust. It was a pretty open spot so next time we'll hide it better.
I really love your series of videos, your whole attitude to work. You say you are not a pro at certain things, but I learned a lot and I'm not even going to tackle the things you do. Sorry about your Cabin, but glad your Godly thoughts help you to just get on and do it again. Here's a twister. Meekness is close to Humility, yet when you know you are humble, you've just lost humility. Enjoy life and learning about your creator.
WOW !!!! We really like your videos! I was hoping that you were in Washington. I saw your Oregon Ducks hat and I knew you were south.....of Seattle. I have been searching for info on UA-cam about Timber framed Cabins all the time. I checked out you videos and think you did a Great job! Keep up the good work Brother. And keep us in the loop about your retreat.Count us in. :)
@Greltam Compared to eternity what is this life. I also have a desire to live a full life here on earth but lets not fool ourselves. Life down here is very hard.
Glad to see you questioning everything. We probably should not identify with what we know (which is limited). Instead, we should identify with what we don't know (which is unlimited) this... makes us true seekers! The way to saving the earth is for each person to control our compulsiveness, to stop fixing things on the outside and work on the inside. Organized religion likes to form groups of insecure people, tell them what to think, believe and exports some of our best virtues to heaven. Not all bad , not all good. Check out Sadhguru's top ten Rules for success. You are on the path to a true human who is BEING. Awesome job!!!
Nice discussion, it does resonate and I come from a RC background which really doesn't subscribe to the sorts of questioning you discuss. Keep up the good work.
Sorry to hear about your frame timber. I hate it when people are so low that they have to steal other peoples things because they are to dang lazy to actually work for something with meaning to it. I applaud you in speaking about your faith and doing a bible study.I have just completed a Emmaus walk close to wear I live and it was awesome!!!!! God Bless and keep up the great videos.
Wow, just wow. I too just spent hours watching your build vids. I'm just speechless. As a carpenter I lost $6000 worth of tools out of my van once. Took me about a year to recover. Luckily the contractor I was working for gave me a big advance and half a year to pay it off. .
How come in every video that mentions religion there is a shit storm of varying types of people in the comments? 1.) the insane Muslims (possible trolls) who denounce the religion expressed in the video and rejoice at the thought of killing the video maker while claiming their God and Islam is peaceful 2.) the pissed off egotistical atheists who cannot, or refuse to, accept or look past other people's opinions or beliefs if they differ from theirs 3.) the over-enthusiastic infatuated Christians who praise the video maker and God (mostly God) And then you have the intellectuals who are hopefully the future of society, and they say simple things like, "Hey man, sorry about your stuff getting stolen. Good on you for persevering and continuing to make a cabin. Keep making great videos!" And they completely ignore the mentioning of religion if they do not agree with it, and if they do agree with it, they might mention something like, "also, good on you for doing a bible study" or whatever... I'm willing to bet that one day, the evolution of the average human brain with regards to its ignorance, and its awareness or sense of communal, societal progression will be tracked and put on a timeline using all the ignorant shit posted on the internet over the years.
I watch because he is a man who is living in a place and way most of us can only dream of, he has an awesome set of skills that are extremely useful but slowly fading from today's pre-packaged, throw-away, instant gratification society. His willingness to show and teach these skills on well-produced home videos is generous, and a real boon to people who want to be a little more self-sufficient. I am used to his talk drifting into religion occasionally but he doesn't get preachy and self-righteous.
There are also nice people over the internet that only got 1 life, they like and trust in science and evidences, they don't have any imaginary friends, and they are pretty sick to see religionS everywhere. No offence to anyone if they keep their ( funny to me ) beliefs private. But unfortunately they DO NOT. they are keep pushing this or that religion in every contest on every table trying to impose to us this god or another one ...and it is very annoying.
coecovideo and by posting that comment you are being hypocritical by not keeping your beliefs private... you understand? just because you don't agree doesn't mean they cant express their beliefs, the same way that just because you don't agree doesn't mean you cant express and argue your opinion of disagreement. But the question I propose to you is, is it necessary? Is it necessary to argue opinions with someone who's opinion differs from yours? Is it necessary to talk down someone's beliefs even when they haven't talked down yours? If someone disrespects your beliefs or talks down on it, then by all means call them an idiot, but don't call them an idiot just because theirs differs from yours. The more "religious" half of this video was clearly geared towards people who share the same beliefs as him. If you don't share them, then why do you have to comment on it?
Clayton Sage 1) I did not offend anyone directly, you did. 2) I don’t have any “belief”, sorry. 3) As I wrote in my previous comment every one can express their ideas. 4) I came from a country where religion is everywhere, in every contest and tv/news/paper and unluckily government takes decisions and make laws “according” to some “beliefs” from an old book. Making laws based on religion in 2015 is wrong. We should make laws according to our experience and based on what is real and good for people. 5) Yes, it is mandatory to “fight” back, it is a long process as we use only WORDS ( no bombs or planes ) 6) if you base your decisions following your beliefs, an old book, or a tiny voice in your brain coming from the sky, and not upon the real world, May I think you are not so wise ? 7) Again, I do not have ANY beliefs. 8) I am just an human being with no imaginary friends on my side, how do I know the content of an youtube video without watching it ?
coecovideo 1.) Who did I offend? I'm trying to stop people from TRYING to offend others simply because their beliefs differ. 2.) You have beliefs if you believe anything. An opinion is a belief, you have lots of those, you're just trying to be difficult. 3.) I agreed to that, I just don't think its necessary to bash someone on their beliefs if they haven't done that to you. 4.) There are countries like that all over. That's why I'm proud to be an American, because I don't have to deal with stupid crap like that. I can believe what I want. I can bicker with an atheist who tries to hard to be provocative on the internet if I want to. The internet is a place to waste time or learn things. If you don't want to come to the US, then form a militia and change things wherever you are. 5.) that in itself is a belief. You believe its "mandatory" to "fight" back. But what are you fighting? This bullet/number confused me. 6.) From this comment I can infer that you have a very limited understanding of Christianity and, I assume, most religions in general. Perhaps you should learn more about it before denouncing its followers as "unwise," but yes you have the right think me unwise if you so choose. 7.) Your BELIEF is that I'm unwise. Your BELIEF is that religion is stupid and all religious people are stupid. Your BELIEF is that Christians listen to a voice in their heads coming from the sky and that God is an imaginary friend to Christians... quite untrue I might add. 8.) You don't. But if someone mentions something about religion in said video, and aims it towards other religious people, and doesn't talk down on any one who doesn't believe in the same religion, just a totally casual, friendly mentioning geared towards others of the same religion, why do atheists always feel the need to get upset and post a nasty comment about said man and said religion? The man never said anything nasty about atheists, so why? 9.) I must remind you that wisdom comes with age. I believe (there's that word again) that one day you will understand what I am saying. By how provocative you are obviously trying very hard to be, I can only assume you are a teenager, because teenagers these days think its cool to hate things, disagree, and be provocative. I am confident that as you grow out of your adolescence, your mind will grow with you and you will learn not to hate others' opinions, but instead appreciate them. I'm not saying I'm confident you'll become religious, I'm saying I'm confident that you'll stop hating religious people just because they are different from you.
Sorry if I had known it was your hard work went into making that frame, I wouldn't have used it to heat up my place as I was freezing! But i am sure you can build another one soon, this time I will use the left overs and off cuts to heat my place! Thanks. Hey i also came back for some more but you had locked the gates! please leave them open next time.
I commend you for having the guts to speak out against the weakness in the modern church. Complacency is killing this country. Don't pay attention to all of the negative comments. God bless you.
I can't believe someone stole it. That's awful! I'm not sure why people are hating on the religious talk. I too aren't interested in that but you can just skip that and focus on the wood work, why get stressed out and start moaning in the comments about it?
I always went to Catholic school growing up. I’ve had my fill of religion. Still, I appreciate the message. Cody doesn’t force God on you. He relays messages to have a better life. My favorite is the manly manners.
Hi Cody: Sad to hear about the cabin. I would rather live this life as a Christian, serving God, helping people where I can, supporting my church, enjoying fellowship with a great bunch of fellow believers, doing what my heart tells me is right, than the other way. For at the end of it all, If I am right, ( I know by the Holey Spirit inside me I am right!) great is my reward. If not, I still have lived an honest, giving, supporting life and have been richly blessed doing so. God is Good Ed
It will be great to see some woodworking videos again. I'm curious if you considered any high production sawmills before buying your Alaskan Mill. If you have some nice timber on your new property and you want to cut some dimensional lumber then it might be worthwhile. It's definitely more of an investment but lumber is expensive. Just some thoughts. My dad has been sawing lumber with his Lucas Mill for our offgrid cabin. I have a couple vidoes on my page.
I am really sorry. That was some meticulous work . As a hobbiest cabinet maker who makes such joints on a smaller scale I appreciate the amount of labor involved. Best regards, Frank
My wife and I are Christians but we do not attend a church.. Church has become something the early church would not recognize...Looking forward to Bible study.
Man I hate to hear that. I just bought a place up in the mountains and was wanting to put up a cabin like that too. Everyone up there said that if I build a cabin someone would tear it up or steal the wood. Very troubling.
I've been fairly fortunate to be in good churches for at least half of my life. I've had some good pastors in those churches to steward me and my family as we sojurn here! I hope that you will be a part of a good church one day.
Wow so true I have had the same problem with churches. I find that they only want one leader and one view point on something and if you question you are either given the cold shoulder or shown the door. Im wondering if you are still doing the bible study Thursday nights. Please let me know as Im very interested to be involved if you are. God bless and thank you for being you.
Cody- Have discovered your videos and off grid lifestyle somewhat late in my life, and, I am a big fan of what your doing, all around. That includes your Bible study proposal. I have the time and would love to be a part of the Bible Study discussions and learning I would gain from them. This comment is a year or two removed from this video, so, I don't know where you stand at the moment......if this is ongoing, or yearly, or if you know longer offer this blessing. Let me know.......
Mr. Cody; I was about to pass on this video when it got into the religion discussion but I felt compelled to linger and hear what you had to say. I thought you were going to push a church agenda and after 33 years of abuse in the church we were finally saved from it, being drug out of it like Lot from Sodom. I'm still a little gun-shy about the church in general but love my Father and thankful that He loves me. I appreciate your spirit and outreach. I enjoy your fellowship. Keep on.
Sorry to hear about the cabin. I enjoyed watching the videos when you were making it. I noticed you use a drone now for some of your video. What drone are you using.
Did you get the Bible study started? We have had similar experiences with the church I think. Always love to be in the Word though. I am enjoying your videos too. I am building a Rocket stove at thee present time and wondered if you had ever considered one for one of your out buildings? It might make a fun video project as well. Eli
I know a local company that used to hire a guy to watch a vulnerable area regarding their property. He'd have Wi-fi camera's set up on the outskirts of the property looking inward to the property in such a way that he could see the bulk of all the entrances. The young guy would sit in his truck with his laptop way off in the distance but not so far he couldn't get to the intruders in less than 2min.. I think he was armed too but doesn't hurt to have 9-1-1 on stand by.
I really like all the videos you produce. Just doing the project or task at hand is a lot of work but doing the video along with the work must make everything for difficult. I agree with one of the other comments I read about your "Timber Framed Cabin" in that it would be nice if they were numbered or could be seen in the order they were produced. It would just make it all fit together in my mind. I was sad to hear someone stole the cabin. Who could do such a thing? Maybe for firewood you say?
I've been watching your videos for weeks now and really dig what your doing. I loved the video with your Grand Dad cutting timber with that ladder chain saw slide! Very cool. I want to sign up for your bible study. I don't go to church because of the same reasons you brought up. Sermons are to fluffy and sweet, not like my Baptist upbring. So please contact me so we can talk or at least get in your bible study. Daniel
Anytime a male fails to define his own beliefs, and/or to strive always to advance his own conformity to those beliefs, he has forfeit the apellation of "Manhood". WranglerStar makes a good point. He has paid the proper respect to everyman's free moral agency, and ONLY commented on those who fail to engage any process of proactive spirituality at all. Point well made, Brother. Re: the some of the comments; haters gonna hate. Good night, good Knight, and May peace favor your Sword.
Hey ! ive been working with designing a house on wheels and i was wondering if you could take a look on the video and also if you have any tips or suggestions. I would really appriciate that. The video "tiny house idea" is just 1 minute long so it wont take much of your time. also im sorry to hear about the theft :/ good luck !
@HighValueWarrior perhaps I was not as clear as I would have liked. I take no issue with meekness. A man can be strong and meek. Weakness and the fear of taking risk or leading out is the trait I despise.
This breaks my heart. I don't know how you can be so clam thur all this. God has a plan. Maybe some of the old timbers would have rot or something that God knew better then us. God Bless Stay Strong
Cody, Sorry to hear about the cabin getting, half-stolen! But at the same time I'm happy that you haven't given up on it. Great to hear someone else that believes that men can be manly and godly! God bless you and yours, looking forward to future vids!
@DIYHydro Fuel/water separator I would reckon. It's for a diesel fuel tank in the bed of his truck (for fueling up his machinery on the homestead). Easier than carrying fuel to your gear 5 gallons at a time. LOL
Sorry you were ripped off Cody. I appreciate the effort and look forward to the next build. On another note, I had my personal shortcomings aired in front of the congregation last night. Bitter or better, that's what was said. They don't understand that the insurance company wouldn't pay for me to see a cardiologist or a pain management specialist unless it was necessary. As I was leaving, I was accused of laying around all day. Would you go back???
Stealing is so low... I am glad that you do not lose heart, but push on! I have just found your channel and I am going through some of your older videos. @Thingamujigger I would agree with you. If this was all life had to offer I would not want to live another second. This is not my home I am pilgrim in a strange land.
I am very sorry to hear about that, Cody. I am looking forward to the future build, though. It is very inspiring to watch your handiwork. God Bless!
But I enjoy sharing my food with them because am trying to silently let them know that they can grow their own too but so far it hasn't worked Lol.
potent! words are very potent...constructed to convey a narrative as truth. at first I thought the videos were more documentary in nature. now i realize this is a "reality" show. thank you for the info on all the tools and techniques! subbed!
Sorry to hear about the lose of the wood for your timber home. Thank you for taking the time to share your hard work with the rest of us.
glad i found your channel. really great topics. i hope to completely change my life, if we get through the next few decades without total calamity.
also i wish i moved out west as a few friends of mine did after high school. despite the cold winters, i love winter, its a better place to be if the fan gets hit.
WOW!!
after watching you clips, learning now that you had your cabins framework done and it got stolen--at first i thought you had it completed and stationary--but i do admire the way you hold your temper and dont let the theft poision you--maybe its the power of forgiveness--someone told me that holding a resentment is like taking poision and expecting the other fellow to die-- keep on keepin on
Hello Wranglerstar,You are a warrior amongst men & where these men tread you will stride.
we share identical views on men in the church. I am glad to hear someone address it. keep up all the outstanding work. Your videos are always a treat.
You are in luck. I just started the bible study last Thursday. You can get the details on my channel page.
Cody,,
Have been watching your video's for the past couple of weeks and I have really enjoyed them.
+eztrain777 thanks
that's ok god does'nt do religon eather !!! bless you brother
Your right, he prefers men of faith, not of habbits without reason.
And, a big thank you for ALL the vids you do, that help and teach me knew skills, and new ways, around the Homestead, and around my soul. JT.
nice to see you stay positive and keeping up your great work. God Bless
have followed your channel for a while and would really enjoy your Bible study
Booo!!!! That is devastating, I just watch all the videos up to this and was really enjoying your work. You are a awesome woodworker! I would of cried and still be crying. I do believe in karma and know that they will get theirs. Thank you for what you've posted. And I hope you don't stop!
***** MrsW here. I did cry. It was awful.
Any chance of them being caught?
***** No. years ago. Likely became firewood.
+Wranglerstar yep, cry it out for a day or so, then tighten up your boot laces and get back to work rebuilding it
Love the videos.
Just found this video, Its nice to see other men that understand what doing church is about
You are awesome in my eyes sir. Thank you for shedding light on this subject.
Hello,
I am just now trying to do my first timber frame building 16'X16'.. I am not sure how it will turn out but I'll do my best. I want to thank you for all the videos you have done and hope to use the skills you have shown. I like also what you are saying here about Church and I am interested in finding out more about your Bible study.
Know you will take a beating on the Bible talk. I for one support you. Subscribed.
Its sad that someone would steel it from you! You put so much work into it. And i enjoyed every minute watching it, thank you so much..
Ahhh, my heart sank a little when you mentioned the timber was stolen. Good to hear that you'll be getting a chisel in hand this spring. You do great work my friend. Take care
Love the video. Including your invitation to the Bible study.
1.) the insane Muslims (possible trolls) who denounce the religion expressed in the video and rejoice at the thought of killing the video maker while claiming their God and Islam is peaceful
2.) the pissed off egotistical atheists who cannot, or refuse to, accept or look past other people's opinions or beliefs if they differ from theirs
3.) the over-enthusiastic infatuated Christians who praise the video maker and God (mostly God)
And then you have the intellectuals who are hopefully the future of society, and they say simple things like, "Hey man, sorry about your stuff getting stolen.
Clayton Sage
1) I did not offend anyone directly, you did.
5) Yes, it is mandatory to “fight” back, it is a long process as we use only WORDS ( no bombs or planes )
6) if you base your decisions following your beliefs, an old book, or a tiny voice in your brain coming from the sky, and not upon the real world, May I think you are not so wise ?
Hey +Wranglerstar, are the bible studies still going on? Sorry if there are newer videos answering this question. I'd like to participate.
If your comment was intended as sarcasm, it is not funny; otherwise, may you have an interesting life.
Just found this old video and I really hope you get back to the cabin
Id love to see a video on your past paramedic firefighter career. Bet you have some great stories. :)
Hi Cody:
Sad to hear about the cabin.
God is Good

It will be great to see some woodworking videos again. I'm curious if you considered any high production sawmills before buying your Alaskan Mill. If you have some nice timber on your new property and you want to cut some dimensional lumber then it might be worthwhile. It's definitely more of an investment but lumber is expensive. Just some thoughts. My dad has been sawing lumber with his Lucas Mill for our offgrid cabin. I have a couple vidoes on my page.
Yes it was. Watch the video before you comment.
Thanks for the great video. Are you still doing the Bible Study?
I am really sorry. That was some meticulous work . As a hobbiest cabinet maker who makes such joints on a smaller scale I appreciate the amount of labor involved.
Best regards,
Frank
My wife and I are Christians but we do not attend a church.. Church has become something the early church would not recognize...Looking forward to Bible study.
Man I hate to hear that. I just bought a place up in the mountains and was wanting to put up a cabin like that too. Everyone up there said that if I build a cabin someone would tear it up or steal the wood. Very troubling.
Very good Sir. I am glad to see that you are a man of God.
Let me know.......
when you can....I don't see how you and Mrs. Wranglerstar have any time at all with what you do. Take care, and be well. JT.
i tuned last Thursday and i enjoyed it and learn quite abit
It's too bad about the cabin project, but good to hear your going to complete it. The Bible study sounds good .
you might want to think about setting a camouflage wildlife camera in a tree to keep a log of your property while your off site.
Every Man a Warrior is a good devo along the lines of what you're talking about.
Hey ! ive been working with designing a house
on wheels and i was wondering if you could take
a look on the video and also if you have any
tips or suggestions. I would really appriciate
that. The video "tiny house idea" is just 1 minute
long so it wont take much of your time.
also im sorry to hear about the theft :/ good luck !
Are the study materials from your Bible study still available online? I would love to look at them.
+George Guidas yes
Where can I find them at, Wranglerstar?
I can’t believe I’m just now seeing this. This makes me like you more than I already did .
I was wondering too were the timber frame cabin building was going... So have you plan on rebuilding it soon? Wish all the best.
Simon from France.
wow... that's just shitty to have a house stolen.
Wait how did this turn into bible study?
I didn't realise you were a Christian, no wonder I was attracted to your'e channel.
Enjoying your'e vids!
Greetings from Australia
Regards
Phil
@dannyv233 If someone slanders your good name by mistake are you to be held responsible?
