Hi Everyone
So this is a quick review on two different powders which i think is suitable for all skin types especially for us WOC
Just to give more details about the product that i may not have provided in the video
Please note i am not a makeup artist and i am not a pro at makeup, i am learning as i go along. Whatever i advise or say in this video is personal opinion and experiences not FACTS! I hope this is helpful for any beginners like me =)
FYI - I have purchased these products to ONLY set my concealer and achieve the highlighted look…not to set my entire foundation
Black opal Deluxe finishing powder:
If you like playing it loose, this hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, translucent powder sets makeup beautifully and helps keep shine at bay throughout the day. Formulated with color-balancing pigments that help enhance your natural skin tone, this ultra-fine jet milled powder also gives your complexion a silky finish. For all skin types. Translucent finish.
Usage Tip:
Using a cotton ball or powder brush, dust over entire face or oily areas, such as the T-Zone. May be worn alone or over foundation.

I like both powders. They both look good on you as a setting powder. But i probably would go more for the black opal because of the price :-) #frugalgirl here. lol. I have the ben nye in banana but in a sample size. lol. Thanks for the comparisons. As always, gorg! :-)

I use chestnut with a bit of fawn in la girl concealer , and I use fawn to highlight , however I'm struggling in terms of the best setting powder I should purchase . I was thinking of sacha buttercup but I was wondering whether or not is too yellow or topaz. Can you please give me your opinions

Tbh i do feel that the sasha buttercup is very yellow...Alot of people like to but i personally don't like it on its own so i do tend to mix it. I will either mix it with the ben nye/make revolution banana powder but if i want it more skin tone like not the ' highlighted effect' then i will use to topaz or black opal

tbh i dont, only once when i used the black opal in the shade neutral light and i baked heavily and didn't use a setting spray thats the only time when i experienced flash back so i learnt from that mistake lol
