Hey girl... sorry for commenting a second time, but I wanted to ask you if you could possibly do a tutorial on when we should use setting powder (obviously I know to set our make up), and also instances and scenarios where we should use a finishing powder... I'm confused if we should use together, or different skin types/ages should use different powders, in different ways...

Feel free to comment as many times as you want 🙌🏾. You can use both if you have wrinkles or textured skin but if you don’t then use only a setting powder. I can incorporate that in one of the upcoming videos

Thank you sooooo much for this video! I’ve been choosing the wrong colors and you just confirmed what I just figure out. When I try to choose close to my shade it ends up being wayyyy too dark. I was worried about going a shade lighter but it tends to look best. Im also oily so most makeup oxidizes on me.

Just got Revolution and L'Oréal N Maybelline Matte setting powders for Xmas. A good tip for Afro N Asian skins is to use a VERY Matte moisturer before you apply foundation. This will stop the shine and oil ruining your make-up! Settings powders set the makeup to last. Worked for me! Uk 🇬🇧

I have pressed powder, can you please tell me if I still need finished powder, and what else do I need to make my makeup look good. Am over 50 years old with oily skin. Am dark skin tone and some blemish, which concealer do I need to hide the mark 🤔
Use a color correcting concealer to conceal the blemishes and use a finishing powder to blur them out

I have a question: I typically see ppl with darker skin use setting powder that is bright yellow (like Sasha buttercup?, etc) under their eyes and other areas. But you mentioned going only 2-3 shades lighter. Which choice is better for every day make up wear?
Also should the FINISHING powder be your exact shade since you are putting it all over your face?
