A little understanding - A lot of Coheed and Cambria songs exist in a saga called "The Amory Wars". There's an evil empire and a resistance - pretty standing Sci-Fi stuff. The main character - Claudio Kilgannon is on the run with various people. They raided this base for the empire called House Atlantic, and they're about to get wrecked by a really large group of soldiers called The Red Army. They have with them a really talented ex-soldier/serial killer named Al (think Han Solo except not lovable - just very criminal). Claudio extensibly uses a "Jedi Mind Trick" to coerce Al (who was very likely to double-cross and kill them eventually) to sacrifice himself to provide them an escape route.
In the comics, Al did attempt to kill Claudio and Ambellina while they were en route to the battle. They discovered his stash of victims in the ship they were traveling in, and had to fight him off
if i had to recommend a song by them i believe that gravity union is a must that or the final cut they are some of my favorite songs they have ever made and i just love musical talent they all have such a amazing band
As far as how they're perceived, as a die hard "one among the fence", I think they're sort of slept on by most. They don't fit into one genre and people don't know what to expect. They're their own sound but influenced by metal, prog, pop and all the rocks. As far musicianship, they deserve a spot in the rock and roll hall of fame
Coheed and Cambria are the best at what they do. They get a lot of labels applied but are kinda unique in their sound and writing. Gotta check out the graphic novels that accompany their albums
honestly they dont get the credit they deserve cuz alot of people stamp them as oh that band with the comics... but there so much better than that stigma and 20 plus years and still at it its an dam shame they arnt bigger than they get but the fanbase they do have is rabid to a point... as one for the majority of that time i think they shuld be up there more than they are but thats just my 2 cents over and out...
Coheed definitely can miss, but it's very rare lol (I think there's like 3 bad songs out of their huge discography). One of the best bands out there and incredible live
godsblood and tenspeed. is one of my favs as is this one. My son is a huge fan and has seen them several times. they're almost up there with Pearl Jam in his opinion. almost , PJ is still his fav.
YOU FINALLY CAME BACK TO THE FENCE!!! 🫡🔥🍻 Gravity’s Union Sentry the Defiant Gravemakers & Gunslingers A Disappearing Act The Dark Sentencer The Gutter Ladders of Supremacy EDIT: YOU ALREADY DID THIS SONG!
How are they regarded? They came out of the early 2000's post-hardcore emo-ish pop punk scene and they transcended that whole shit to become prog rock/metal gods.
also since u liked this song u shuld concider reacting to Strung Short by Shabutie .. Coheeds the early early early days ...for ease of reation theres a video of coheed playing it on their cruise from ac ouple years ago as a live version so u wont get copyright hit.... over and out again...

This comment is so important. A remorseless murderer doing covering fire really changes the song.
"I NEED Maaaaayooooooooooo"
Al " You were so well behaved"
just 2 fun Lines in my head.
"Selfish little Whore........if i had my way ...id crush your face in the DoOOr "
and then another popped up

Delirium Trigger is by far my fav. song they've ever done.
Big same ❤❤
i try to pick a favorite and then the next song plays

Your right they don't miss 💯💯
This is one of my favorites along with delirium trigger
Glad to see it reacted to
Coheed and Cambria have a ton of good songs. You should do more.

You've gotta check out thier song called "the suffering" as well
such a great Radio Song!

They do indeed do not miss. You should check out Window of the Waking Mind
Let's Gooooooo!! Coheed!!
You should look into the story behind the music, its wild.
You should definitely give "gravitys union" from them. Josh, the drummer, did a playthrough on Drumeo that is fantastic.

More coheed reviews!
This is fire.
I lost it 😂
Great song...I'd love to hear you react to Felt. Group consists of Slug a la Atmosphere and MURS...
needs to be the MV
To understand the meaning to the songs you need to dive into the storyline of the LP, or the comic books that the lead singer wrote.
This song sounds like Fall Out Boy gone hard rock
Its easily their most pop song, and it's crazy how well they do this more pop style... and when they play it live it is so much fun
Coheed definitely can miss, but it's very rare lol (I think there's like 3 bad songs out of their huge discography). One of the best bands out there and incredible live

Awesome song but the record version is better
Live versions are never better unless they're acoustic
was thinking the same thing. That live recording is absolutely making a mess out of the bass.
Not related at all, but "Eat The Cat" by Marine the Rapper would be a good reaction
😂😂😂😂😂 “they can’t write bro”
this is not the best for this song it was way better live but great jam
