You told no lies about skyscraper rose. Its my favourite bright lipstick period and I didn't think I would love it. I ordered strawberry shock from the newest lineup and kitten mischief is something I am curious about and considering if you can pull it off I think I will be able to but no rush for me to get it I have enough lipsticks right now!
Nice video! Just discovered your channel. I’m a huge Lisa Eldridge fan 💕 I own every single product she’s ever launched. I actually also live in NL :) but I am Mexican. It was interesting to see you trying on the shades because they look so different on you than me, as we have different tones of skin, lips, hair. Some lipsticks that work really well for you, don’t for me, and vice versa. I saw how much Painterly lifted your complexion. It makes me look dead 😅 my favourite is Spirited Away as it instantly livens up my face. I just ordered nearly every new lipstick she launched! Cannot wait to try them
I really want to try her foundation and blushes. Sadly the blushes won't be back until next year and I haven't been able to find my match yet in the foundation. I do have a new sample card now to try out some more shades and I will be going to London in August. So I hope to be able to pay a visit to the Covent Garden pop up store.
@@FloatinginDreams oh perfect then you should definitely wait to be shade-matched when you’re in London! Although the sample cards work really well too. I was able to find my match very easily following the video when you scan the QR code. The blushes are lovely, it really sucks that it’s taken them so long to restock 😕
Hi Maaike some of these were really pretty and I personally like a creamier/balmier lipstick. I know you love a bright or a darker nude, but I like soft shades - mauves, pinky nudes, soft roses and the two pinkier tones you said weren't your favourites, were the ones that appealed to me lol. I think if you can imagine being even paler, but without the darker eyes and more golden blonde hair, then all those factors also influence what suits me and my colouring. Anything with a peach or brown isn't really all that flattering on me, so even brown toned mauves are not my favourite. I can wear pinks with a hint of lilac quite well and the one you said would look best with a more minimal eye look, was the one I liked the look of most. It's the sort of shade I wear in the Summer and I have a Clarins lipstick in a similar shade I've actually repurchased (very few lipsticks are repurchases for me). I don't wear a bright pink, but then I don't wear any bright lip colours although most pinks in softer shades are pretty on me. I have a lot of mauve tones in my own lip shade (so those look the most natural on me), but pinks also look good usually. I haven't really bought lipstick in a long time due to mask wearing, but prior to that I used to always wear it and love it. Glosses are fine, but actual bullet lipsticks were my go to. Nowadays I tend to wear stains or tinted lip balms - something that isn't going to go either all over my face or my mask (balms are easily wiped off prior to wearing). I'm still wearing masks in indoor public places and public transport, so lipsticks haven't really fully come back into my life yet. Until they do I'm not going to buy luxury lipsticks, but I always like seeing them swatched so I can add certain shades to my wish list for purchase in the future. Best wishes.
Yes Love of My Life would be lovely. It's very cool toned and has a blue vibe. She's doing a new shade called Rose Shell which I think will be even better if you like a very blue toned pink.
I got myself a few as well. I hope to be able to buy the remaining shades over time to complete the collection and do a dedicated Luxuriously Lucent lipswatch video.
I have tried velvet formula and almost used up Muse and Affair before I declutter all Velvets I owned because my lips are too dry and I have given up on matte lipsticks. I prefer Luxuriously Lucent lipsticks more. I have used up Kitten Mischief. Spirited Away and Painterly are near the end. I gave Meet me in Berlin to my colleague, because I didn't use it at all. I bought Palazzo last fall. Now I'm trying to decide what to buy - Rose official, Love of My life or Night Thoughts.

Took me ages to decide but I just didn’t want to make another mistake, I hardly ever wear my Velvet decade and Velvet Ribbon. I have now light skin tone but usually I am fair but I have more neutral tone skin and I tend to gravitate towards slightly warmer or corally, peachy tones or I wear rosy tones and plums usually more in the autumn and winter. Even for reds I like more of the warmer brighter reds than cool as Velvet Ribbon is. I hope Kitten Mischief works for me and Sunday Matinee. My fav lipstick from CT is Kidman’s Kiss but it can be a bit too corally in the winter sometimes. It can get dark and gloomy here in the Northern Europe. P.S. Was in the Netherlands in May :)
@@FloatinginDreams I hope so too. I sent my picture to the customer service, they were very helpful and thought these shades would be good for every day use for me. I am sure Strawberry Shock would have been gorgeous but summer is almost over and I am now looking for more practical choices. :) And I already have some bright coloured lippies like TF True Colour in my stash. :) So I will probably wait till next spring to order it. 😁 Have a lovely weekend!☺️💕
