I know this is a old video, but I love it!!!! Unfortunately I don't have any Lisa Eldridge make up and I also love watching her videos. I have a few things I really want a eye shadow palette and a lippie. I'll get there one day - I have so many atm so I'll have to finish them first, I'm also really into Bobbi Brown atm as well. Years ago now I remember Lisa Eldridge had a moment about Revlon Strawberry Suede matte Lipstick. Long discontinued, but her strawberry shock looks the same. So now she is stocked up i guess.
I picked up the shade Je Ne Sais quois and have really enjoyed it. The tricky part with her lipsticks is that they really do shift and change depending on your own coloring and undertone. Think you would love the liquid eyeshadow in Angelica. It is the perfect one and done shade.
Strawberry Shock is beautiful on you, Sandra! I've not ordered from Lisa before, but have been a fan for years. When these launched, I couldn't help myself, lol. I texted my daughter and asked her if she'd like one, too. Without missing a beat, she asked for Velvet Muse, her favorite tone. I chose Wonder Wheel! Gorgeous, very wearable. The bright lip looks so good on you! Lisa Eldridge's Skyscraper Rose is my absolute favorite lipstick and I have lots. Most days I just use this lipstick without any makeup and still gets compliments. I pounced when she brought it back because it was being offered at $299 on ebay!
I bought Strawberry Shock, JNSQ & Sunday Matinee. I love them all! I love the lucents, but I prefer the velvets or saturated bc I don’t have to apply as often. SS looks gorgeous on you! I kind of wish I had bought Les Mepris, but I find some of her lipsticks pull more brown on me, and I was afraid this one might not look great on me. Maybe I’ll pick it up another time. Still kicking myself I missed out on Le Mepris. Strawberry Shock looks incredible on you! As far as products you haven’t tried yet, I really like the highlighter. It’s natural but impactful at the same time. Kitten Mischief is my fave lipstick too.
I think I’ll get Sunday Matinée from her new collection and a couple more liners. I love her Velvets and her lip liners. I do think the formulas and colours are genuinely special (which is rare in the over saturated beauty market). I’ve not tried her other product categories as the products are just not those I gravitate towards. Also, a bit random, but her studio sweatshirt in the grey is one of my most worn loungewear items and I’ll even wear it out for a casual day/night in fall/winter. It’s really good quality. Makes us feel closer to it than for example when Chanel launches a new lipstick and all we get is some vague marketing around it lol
Strawberry shock looks stunning on you! I would say Crystal nebula highlighter is my most used Lisa Eldridge product, followed closely by velvet dragon lip liner. I do love the velvet dragon lipstick, however I found that during an eight hour work shift it would dry out my lips… And then I realized that Bobby Brown Orange is a near dupe for velvet dragon and I wear that all the time with the Lisa Eldridge lip liner. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I am really excited to try Meet me in Berlin. In the past I ordered velvet muse and velvet blush and just never reached for them; I disliked the heavy texture and the colors were too deep for me. The saturated formula is so nice I think you will enjoy it! I bought the necklace when I was on vacation in Italy a while back. It was from a local jeweler so it’s not by a brand you can get online unfortunately 😩

Hi Sandra, I tried almost everything from Lisa. My favorites are the highlighter and the blushes but after 1 year the highlighter smells different and there was a problem in some of the blushes packagings, one tube exploded (sounds very dramatic but not really). However the formula and the appearance on the skin for both products are amazing. I skipped this release but I’m glad that you like your lipsticks. Both shades look so beautiful on you. Specially this color, you look so fresh and summer ready in it.
someone else commented about the same issues with her blush! that is such a disappointment. i hope it didn't stain anything of yours! have you let the customer service department know? maybe if enough people complain they will change the packaging
@@ttsandra Luckily, It didn't stain anything but It got messy, and I had to throw it away. From what I heard, her customer service team are excellent and very helpful, but I didn't contact them. I believe they are aware of this issue as many other people had the same problem, and some of them are UA-camrs who mentioned it in their reviews.
My blush also exploded. Not the best packaging for such a thick product! I’ve repotted it into a tiny glass jar and now I use it like a cream blush, dipping my brush directly into it. Much better user experience :D

It pains me to miss out! lol I'm also, of course, drooling over a couple of shades from the new Luxuriously Lucent launch. She is truly a genius in her colour curation. And the names.... heavenly! Hello Sandra. I love that color on you and as tempted as I am to buy one of the new lipsticks I think I'll skip this time. I have Velvet Beauty and I think I've worn it 3 times and I'm not sure why I never reach for it. I like the color but feel it's more of a fall lip and for whatever reason I rarely use it. Anyway, I have enough lipsticks right now and I'm being good. Enjoy your lipstick because it's stunning on you.
i think most of the velvet lipsticks definitely have that fall mood, don't they? spring/summer are usually about more sheer and shiny textures. take your time and when you're ready for something new, the lipsticks will still be here :) it's a good thing that you're not being impulsive!
I didn’t order anything yet, because I have a problem wanting all the LE products even though I know it’s usually the nudes and more berry shades I prefer. It’s really great to see that you exercise restraint and don’t go hog wild buying everything!, and it’s a reminder for me to do the same. I wear Kitten Mischief, Velvet Blush and Velvet Myth the most. Also love Velvet Dragon and Cinnabar. Le Mepris would have been my fav but I’ll have to wait for next time. I’ll be getting Palazzo, Strawberry Shock, and Meet Me in Berlin this time around.
I would say her gloss is my least used. Not the biggest fan of the formula but I did put in a project pan with a usage goal as its too expensive to just sit there! Velvet muse is my perfect nude. I bought strawberry shock from this newest launch and damn is the colour beautiful. I talked myself out of getting more than that one since I know that skyscraper rose is gorgeous and I loved the formula. Kitten mischief is on my wish list for a future time. I have been trying to pan a Burberry lipstick and that plus masking has meant a lot of the colours I love from Lisa haven't been getting love.

Wow you must have been fast as I went on to buy Les Marais half an hour after launch and it was already sold out 🙀. I got Strawberry Shock too tho and love it. Weirdly Kitten mischief pulls so pink on me and doesn’t look great. Great vid! X
Great video. This reddish lipstick looks so good on you. Just recently diacovered your channel. I ordered 2 saturated ones (new wave and skyscraper rose). Unfortunately, I am in the process of returning them. They are super comfortable but they stain lips quite a bit, especially new wave. I needed really good remover and rub my lips to remove the stain.
Hi Sandra, my favourite item from her is the highlighter. I tried the tube blush which was a huge fail for me. I also ended up giving away my two velvet lippies, they pulled weirdly on my skin tone. I really enjoy her lip gloss and the lucent lippie. Thanks for your video!
I had the same experience with the velvet lipsticks. Not sure what it was but they looked really strange on my medium olive skin tone, but similar colors in other brands looked fine. Maybe it was the opacity? I should probably try the lip pencils.
@@asdabir the lip pencils are so good! sometimes the opacity of the lipsticks can be too much, like with velvet fawn most of the time i wear it, i just dab it on my lips as opposed to swiping and it gives a softer look
*raises hand* Massive Lisa Eldridge fangirl here! I have so many of the lipsticks - all formulas - (and liners) that I sort of don't know where to start 😂 I bought six from the new launch (+ Skyscraper Rose, which I had missed out on before) - I live near London so went to the opening of the pop-up - and love them all, but Strawberry Shock is hands down my favourite. I had been dying to own it since Lisa teased a video of it when she was on holiday at the start of the year. The colour is so unique - but I think all of her colours are and that's a big part of what I love. Beyond Strawberry Shock, I think I use Velvet Cinnabar, Velvet Petal, Velvet Beauty (my biggest surprise, as I thought it would be too pink for me, but it's not!), Rainbow Spill, and Velvet Dragon the most. But I just love them all. I do like the glosses a lot, too - I find they are nice to layer and blend over the Velvets if they fade a bit during the day and I don't feel like re-applying the full-on look again. I have some of the blushes and they're beautiful, but I don't use them as much as I wish I did as I find powder blushes so much faster when I'm in a rush. And I agree on the foundation matching - Lisa herself actually matched me to my shade at the last pop-up! 😍 It is a perfect match. Probably my least used item is actually the highlighter. I got two and the texture of the pink one (Cosmic Rose) got weirdly grainy quite quickly. The golden one (Crystal Nebula) is still going strong and it is lovely, but my HG highlight is the Violette_FR Baume Shine and since I got that, I find it hard to use anything else!

Just bought Kitten Mischief, and talked myself out of buying any more of her products. I can get so hooked on the "limited edition"-hype, but honestly I know they'll come back in stock in the future if I really want one, and I also don't wear as much bold lipstick colors post covid. I really hope the Kitten Mischief is going to be a go to-nude for me. Velvet Muse is my nude shade atm but it is a bit more on the 90s brown lip which I like but can be a bit too much during winters (I'm very fair and live in Scandinavia so it's not a lot of sun here).
kitten mischief is so good, i hope you love it! it's the lipstick from Lisa that i will probably use up first. i had to be honest with myself and not buy any lipstick from the new fall launch haha i was tempted by Sorcery and Rain - but i need to wear Muse and Fawn more because i have barely made a dent in them and they need to be used more!
Hello! I love especially how Le Mepris, Velvet Intrigue and Velvet Dragon look on you. So stunning! My favorite from Lisa are the glosses. I've used up three so far, I find them so hydrating, I used Charm, Songbird - which I think you would love and Muse. These aren't as pigmented as Affair which I just got along with Rosy Shell and Le Mepris. I adore the Luxuriously Lucent Lipsticks more than the Velvets, I also love the pencils. My most used one is Muse. I also have an eyeshadow, shade Anjelica, I must say, the formula creases on me very much therefore I only use it along my eyelashes, like an eyeliner which is fine with me. My most worn lipstick is also Kitten Mischief, but now in summer I adore Dance Card, along with the Go Lightly gloss.
I have more! :)) I have one of the blushes in Pink Poetry, my tube broke at the top all of the sudden, but I decanted it into 2 pots and I use it like that, much easier I would say, it's so long lasting and it does look seamless on the skin. I think that the blush has so much product in it, I don't think I will even finish one pot this year and I use it exclusively. I wish it was just 3g or so and in much smaller maybe aluminum packaging. Holy moly, I wrote so much, I'm sorry! 🙈

I have way to many lisa eldridge lipsticks and glosses. My most jused is definitely Kitten Mischief. And frankly I could survive with only that shade... But there is something about her launches that's make me so excited. And than I order more than I need. That being said I love the highliter in cosmic rose ( I am not a highliter girl but that one I adore) It is the perfect tone for my skin. It is gorgeous as a kind of glowy primer under foundation. Or just like a highliter on the cheekbones ( tiny bit). I don't have the foundation ( only got samples) I have 2 blushes and I only juse one shade ( pink soap)( the blush is ok but not exceptional) also got 2 eyeshadows ( Bianca is my most jused, I like it, but I had other more favorite formulas like the armani eye tints) In this new launch I was blown away bye the Insanely saturated formula. It was the first time I tried it. I got Sunday Matinee and it is definitely my favorite easy pink of all time. And New wave, couldn't resist that adgy vibe about it. I have to say I will wear this more than my other bright colors that I own from other Brands. Yes she can definitely do it, making those exceptional ones! Love your video, so interesting to know what you like the most.❤

Sandra, on video I don't see the much difference in colour between Velvet Dragon and the new one ... and between Mepris, Kitten and Intrige... do you see it IRL? I had Muse and Affair... swatches on my hand were different but on my lips not so much... now I wear only Kitten, Spirited and Painterly because of my dry lips...
Yes they’re different IRL for sure! le Mépris is more pale and peachy than kitten mischief. and intrigue is a lot more opaque, matte and peachy pink. Kitten Mischief is still my fave 🥰

They’re very comfortable! they run small so size up half a size or even a full size depending on the width of your foot. I’m usually 37.5 in Hermes shoes so I got 38. my feet are slightly wider
I usually go ham when she drops new products. I have bought over 25 lip products, several of the blushes and the highlighter. The packaging of the blushes broke/busted. The cream was hard to get out and the pressure blew out the back and so product leaked everywhere. They refunded the money without any hassle. The highlighter started to clump up and smell like crayons it seemed to go off in 6 months. The lip products are great but with Covid I hardly wear them. I also got caught up and bought colors that don't suit me. I'm starting to feel exploited by the whole "limited" release products go live tomorrow sales pitch. I buy too much and don't use the product. I didn't buy the foundation, eye shadow or these new lips. I came so close but abstained. I have bought several Sisley products lately that make me very happy. I didn't feel panicked or like I'll miss out when I purchased them. I don't hold Lisa responsible or blame her at all.
i got caught up in the hype earlier on too and made some mistakes here and there buying shades that didn't suit me (Go Lightly Lipstick especially lol). now i am a bit more calculated and discerning when choosing products. so disappointing to hear about the blush packaging! i've received a few comments saying the same thing. i hope this means they will get repackaged at some point into something more stable and user friendly.
The products look lovely on you! I agree with others, I loved the blush until the packaging exploded. I enjoyed the highlighter, but it's been a while since I've reached for it and now I'm afraid it's gone off LOL. The lipsticks, they were fine, but somehow there is always a formula I prefer. Currently, everything Victoria Beckham and many things Westman Atelier are my jam. Even though Lisa's foundation has many shades and is so beautiful, I still find myself between two of them and find the formula great, but others (even Westman Atelier which has far fewer shades but does make one exactly for me) better. So, two full bottles of foundation going off. I therefore bought nothing from the last release, but enjoy seeing others's purchases!
I love Lisa Eldridge but her products have never really attracted me. I don’t know why. That being said, I did once find myself on the verge of ordering a lipstick just because I adore her logo and my surname starts with L. I thought better of it before completing the purchase and left the website! 😂
And that’s totally okay! You know what you like and it’s great that you haven’t just bought something that you wouldn’t use. Maybe there will be a launch that is more up your alley in the future. More reason to look forward to the future haha

I have Velvet Beauty and I think I've worn it 3 times and I'm not sure why I never reach for it. I like the color but feel it's more of a fall lip and for whatever reason I rarely use it. Anyway, I have enough lipsticks right now and I'm being good. Enjoy your lipstick because it's stunning on you.
i think most of the velvet lipsticks definitely have that fall mood, don't they? spring/summer are usually about more sheer and shiny textures. take your time and when you're ready for something new, the lipsticks will still be here :) it's a good thing that you're not being impulsive!
I didn’t order anything yet, because I have a problem wanting all the LE products even though I know it’s usually the nudes and more berry shades I prefer. It’s really great to see that you exercise restraint and don’t go hog wild buying everything!, and it’s a reminder for me to do the same. I wear Kitten Mischief, Velvet Blush and Velvet Myth the most. Also love Velvet Dragon and Cinnabar. Le Mepris would have been my fav but I’ll have to wait for next time. I’ll be getting Palazzo, Strawberry Shock, and Meet Me in Berlin this time around.

I would say her gloss is my least used. Not the biggest fan of the formula but I did put in a project pan with a usage goal as its too expensive to just sit there! Velvet muse is my perfect nude. I bought strawberry shock from this newest launch and damn is the colour beautiful. I talked myself out of getting more than that one since I know that skyscraper rose is gorgeous and I loved the formula. Kitten mischief is on my wish list for a future time. I have been trying to pan a Burberry lipstick and that plus masking has meant a lot of the colours I love from Lisa haven't been getting love.

Wow you must have been fast as I went on to buy Les Marais half an hour after launch and it was already sold out 🙀. I got Strawberry Shock too tho and love it. Weirdly Kitten mischief pulls so pink on me and doesn’t look great. Great vid! X

Great video. This reddish lipstick looks so good on you. Just recently diacovered your channel. I ordered 2 saturated ones (new wave and skyscraper rose). Unfortunately, I am in the process of returning them. They are super comfortable but they stain lips quite a bit, especially new wave. I needed really good remover and rub my lips to remove the stain.
Her team has good customer service so I hope your return process runs smoothly 💕
Hi Sandra, my favourite item from her is the highlighter. I tried the tube blush which was a huge fail for me. I also ended up giving away my two velvet lippies, they pulled weirdly on my skin tone. I really enjoy her lip gloss and the lucent lippie. Thanks for your video!

I had the same experience with the velvet lipsticks. Not sure what it was but they looked really strange on my medium olive skin tone, but similar colors in other brands looked fine. Maybe it was the opacity? I should probably try the lip pencils.
@@asdabir the lip pencils are so good! sometimes the opacity of the lipsticks can be too much, like with velvet fawn most of the time i wear it, i just dab it on my lips as opposed to swiping and it gives a softer look

*raises hand* Massive Lisa Eldridge fangirl here! I have so many of the lipsticks - all formulas - (and liners) that I sort of don't know where to start 😂 I bought six from the new launch (+ Skyscraper Rose, which I had missed out on before) - I live near London so went to the opening of the pop-up - and love them all, but Strawberry Shock is hands down my favourite. I had been dying to own it since Lisa teased a video of it when she was on holiday at the start of the year. The colour is so unique - but I think all of her colours are and that's a big part of what I love.
Beyond Strawberry Shock, I think I use Velvet Cinnabar, Velvet Petal, Velvet Beauty (my biggest surprise, as I thought it would be too pink for me, but it's not!), Rainbow Spill, and Velvet Dragon the most. But I just love them all. I do like the glosses a lot, too - I find they are nice to layer and blend over the Velvets if they fade a bit during the day and I don't feel like re-applying the full-on look again.
I have some of the blushes and they're beautiful, but I don't use them as much as I wish I did as I find powder blushes so much faster when I'm in a rush. And I agree on the foundation matching - Lisa herself actually matched me to my shade at the last pop-up! 😍 It is a perfect match.
Probably my least used item is actually the highlighter. I got two and the texture of the pink one (Cosmic Rose) got weirdly grainy quite quickly. The golden one (Crystal Nebula) is still going strong and it is lovely, but my HG highlight is the Violette_FR Baume Shine and since I got that, I find it hard to use anything else!

Just bought Kitten Mischief, and talked myself out of buying any more of her products. I can get so hooked on the "limited edition"-hype, but honestly I know they'll come back in stock in the future if I really want one, and I also don't wear as much bold lipstick colors post covid. I really hope the Kitten Mischief is going to be a go to-nude for me. Velvet Muse is my nude shade atm but it is a bit more on the 90s brown lip which I like but can be a bit too much during winters (I'm very fair and live in Scandinavia so it's not a lot of sun here).
kitten mischief is so good, i hope you love it! it's the lipstick from Lisa that i will probably use up first. i had to be honest with myself and not buy any lipstick from the new fall launch haha i was tempted by Sorcery and Rain - but i need to wear Muse and Fawn more because i have barely made a dent in them and they need to be used more!

Hello! I love especially how Le Mepris, Velvet Intrigue and Velvet Dragon look on you. So stunning! My favorite from Lisa are the glosses. I've used up three so far, I find them so hydrating, I used Charm, Songbird - which I think you would love and Muse.
These aren't as pigmented as Affair which I just got along with Rosy Shell and Le Mepris. I adore the Luxuriously Lucent Lipsticks more than the Velvets, I also love the pencils.
My most used one is Muse. I also have an eyeshadow, shade Anjelica, I must say, the formula creases on me very much therefore I only use it along my eyelashes, like an eyeliner which is fine with me.
My most worn lipstick is also Kitten Mischief, but now in summer I adore Dance Card, along with the Go Lightly gloss.
I have more! :)) I have one of the blushes in Pink Poetry, my tube broke at the top all of the sudden, but I decanted it into 2 pots and I use it like that, much easier I would say, it's so long lasting and it does look seamless on the skin. I think that the blush has so much product in it, I don't think I will even finish one pot this year and I use it exclusively. I wish it was just 3g or so and in much smaller maybe aluminum packaging. Holy moly, I wrote so much, I'm sorry! 🙈

I have way to many lisa eldridge lipsticks and glosses. My most jused is definitely Kitten Mischief. And frankly I could survive with only that shade... But there is something about her launches that's make me so excited. And than I order more than I need. That being said I love the highliter in cosmic rose ( I am not a highliter girl but that one I adore) It is the perfect tone for my skin. It is gorgeous as a kind of glowy primer under foundation. Or just like a highliter on the cheekbones ( tiny bit). I don't have the foundation ( only got samples) I have 2 blushes and I only juse one shade ( pink soap)( the blush is ok but not exceptional) also got 2 eyeshadows ( Bianca is my most jused, I like it, but I had other more favorite formulas like the armani eye tints) In this new launch I was blown away bye the Insanely saturated formula. It was the first time I tried it. I got Sunday Matinee and it is definitely my favorite easy pink of all time. And New wave, couldn't resist that adgy vibe about it. I have to say I will wear this more than my other bright colors that I own from other Brands. Yes she can definitely do it, making those exceptional ones! Love your video, so interesting to know what you like the most.❤
I feel exactly the same way about the launches haha. The insanely saturated formula is a joy to wear, I am liking it better than the velvets 👀👀 excited to see what’s next !
Sandra, on video I don't see the much difference in colour between Velvet Dragon and the new one ... and between Mepris, Kitten and Intrige... do you see it IRL? I had Muse and Affair... swatches on my hand were different but on my lips not so much... now I wear only Kitten, Spirited and Painterly because of my dry lips...
Yes they’re different IRL for sure! le Mépris is more pale and peachy than kitten mischief. and intrigue is a lot more opaque, matte and peachy pink. Kitten Mischief is still my fave 🥰

They’re very comfortable! they run small so size up half a size or even a full size depending on the width of your foot. I’m usually 37.5 in Hermes shoes so I got 38. my feet are slightly wider
I usually go ham when she drops new products. I have bought over 25 lip products, several of the blushes and the highlighter. The packaging of the blushes broke/busted. The cream was hard to get out and the pressure blew out the back and so product leaked everywhere. They refunded the money without any hassle. The highlighter started to clump up and smell like crayons it seemed to go off in 6 months. The lip products are great but with Covid I hardly wear them. I also got caught up and bought colors that don't suit me. I'm starting to feel exploited by the whole "limited" release products go live tomorrow sales pitch. I buy too much and don't use the product. I didn't buy the foundation, eye shadow or these new lips. I came so close but abstained. I have bought several Sisley products lately that make me very happy. I didn't feel panicked or like I'll miss out when I purchased them. I don't hold Lisa responsible or blame her at all.
i got caught up in the hype earlier on too and made some mistakes here and there buying shades that didn't suit me (Go Lightly Lipstick especially lol). now i am a bit more calculated and discerning when choosing products. so disappointing to hear about the blush packaging! i've received a few comments saying the same thing. i hope this means they will get repackaged at some point into something more stable and user friendly.

The products look lovely on you! I agree with others, I loved the blush until the packaging exploded. I enjoyed the highlighter, but it's been a while since I've reached for it and now I'm afraid it's gone off LOL. The lipsticks, they were fine, but somehow there is always a formula I prefer. Currently, everything Victoria Beckham and many things Westman Atelier are my jam. Even though Lisa's foundation has many shades and is so beautiful, I still find myself between two of them and find the formula great, but others (even Westman Atelier which has far fewer shades but does make one exactly for me) better. So, two full bottles of foundation going off. I therefore bought nothing from the last release, but enjoy seeing others's purchases!
I love Lisa Eldridge but her products have never really attracted me. I don’t know why. That being said, I did once find myself on the verge of ordering a lipstick just because I adore her logo and my surname starts with L. I thought better of it before completing the purchase and left the website! 😂
And that’s totally okay! You know what you like and it’s great that you haven’t just bought something that you wouldn’t use. Maybe there will be a launch that is more up your alley in the future. More reason to look forward to the future haha
