I remember a similar scenario earlier in the season that was equally as beautiful. I saw your post about her early fledge but didn't comment, because I was crying nonstop. Lol. This was my first full season, and I'm still processing everything that happened, but my heart is full and I'm grateful for all that I've seen and learned. I still pray for OGK, am thankful for YRK's dedication, and feel honored to have followed this strong and feisty beauty who was also an amazing little gardener. She left a mark on my heart, and I trust that she will flourish... a huge shout out to the rangers for ensuring her safety and growth, and a big thank you to you for your videos and all that you do. Oh beautiful QT. It seems like yesterday you were a dirty ball of white fluff. Now you're looking like a full grown albatross. You never got to see your papa again, but he's watching over you from above. He wouldn't have left you and mom to fend for yourselves. He's gone, but not forgotten. Mom did a heck of a job feeding you, and what she couldn't do, the wonderful rangers did.

Hello Tonia - both QT and YRK will migrate down to South America but remember that neither will touch land they will be flying and resting on the ocean. So they will most likely not be interacting with one another but they will carry one another in their hearts! She had all but one of the pieces in place, and, was ready to fly. ✈️ The one last piece was getting into the air! God 💕 took care of that, with one big gust! ✈️ POOF! Airborne! WOW! 🙀 I think that's what she said, in her spirit! It was a surprise for her, as well! But, only for a split second!! Instinct kicked in... she made a little wing adjustment... her nostrils measured the velocity... she found a wind stream ... and smoothly soared away. ✈️💕 Not the least bit of hesitation or fear!💖 I cannot phathom how thrilled she must have felt, to finally get up into the air and on her destined way, to the sea! 🌊 Wait until she finds that squid🐙 🐙🐙🐙🐙!! I wish we could see that! 👀 Weeeeeeyooooo!!! 🤣 And, then, when she discovers the all-you-can-eat seafood buffet out there! 🐠🐡🐙🦐🐟🐙🐠 🐡🐟 She'll be over the moon! Lovely. This season has been so up & down. The attack on QT by the juvie. Then the loss of OGK. I’m happy for QT & her adventures to come but there’s a pain in my heart for OGK & it will never go away. I’m way too sensitive about animals. I had quite a few cats in the past & it always hurt when one died (of course that’s normal if you love your pets). I don’t have any pets now that I’m retired & it will stay that way. Can’t take the pain anymore ❤️😰
(Sharon Shneyer), I agree with what you said. I had a cat for 10 years, and while it helped with the loss of both parents, it would be too much to go through again, so like you I shall remain petless, besides these wildlife cams can get to you. I know I'll see you other places.

Well, I have to be honest and say that I can’t watch this last video of our sweet QT because I am missing her so very much.❤️🦢😢 I do hope that she was able to get enough wind and the ability with her wings to fly and stay up in the air too. That is something that I worry about her and I also didn’t think she was rowdy to fledge either. However, all the awesome videos that Lady Hawk has ever done have been all masterpieces no doubt. I can’t wait for the next season (that is if we don’t get to see our QT one more time). However, I understand that any bird needs wind to help take off and that the wind also has to be just right. But however when I saw the wind actually pick her up and took her literally flying in the air I was getting worried that she would be blown into the water and she wouldn’t know what to do or, she just would be blown or taken off course and she would either end up somewhere where she has no clue on what to do and just so many more thoughts came to my mind. I just keep hoping she comes back to her home. I still feel that she wasn’t ready to fledge and the wind took her and off course. I do pray she comes back. Sorry for going on about her like this but, I had to get my thoughts out of me or I would just cry my eyes out. I do miss her so much even though I do know she is just a bird and a wind one at that but I always get sad and miss an animal whether fledging or even being adopted. Yeah, this is my 7th fledge this year - 5 Eagle nests, one Osprey and now QT. Of course, I've cried over each one. 😭😭😭 Not to mention previous years' fledges. I just can't seem to get enough. They grow so fast and leave waaay to soon. It's a journey for all of us, as we pray for these "little" ones in their life travels. Godspeed little princess, and God bless you Lady Hawk, over and over again. P.S. Lady Hawk, I saw your post that Samson has brought in the first stick to begin nestorations for the coming season. (Sharon Shneyer), Silvana you couldn't of expressed how we're all feeling now. I loved her gardening skills, and that squilley wiggley thing she did with her tail. I had only wished I had watched this nest from the beginning, but life got in the way. I was able to watch part of Takai's from last year. I got to watch the Winter Olympics, and even the figure skating which I follow and have always loved, given the responsibilities that were given me. Besides there are only so many videos one can watch, plus the fact that according to Vicki, Season 11 has started.

yes she did LH. QT had been walking around the headland and memorized everything here before starting her life long journey. I rewatched her fledged a few times and wondered if she imprinted the movement from mom. The confidence and the effortless lift just like YRK. Mom would be so proud their daughter becomes a pro. Miss you QT.

Lovely. This season has been so up & down. The attack on QT by the juvie. Then the loss of OGK. I’m happy for QT & her adventures to come but there’s a pain in my heart for OGK & it will never go away. I’m way too sensitive about animals. I had quite a few cats in the past & it always hurt when one died (of course that’s normal if you love your pets). I don’t have any pets now that I’m retired & it will stay that way. Can’t take the pain anymore ❤️😰
Hopefully I will be around for the next season. It starts in November
(Sharon Shneyer), I agree with what you said. I had a cat for 10 years, and while it helped with the loss of both parents, it would be too much to go through again, so like you I shall remain petless, besides these wildlife cams can get to you. I know I'll see you other places.

Well, I have to be honest and say that I can’t watch this last video of our sweet QT because I am missing her so very much.❤️🦢😢 I do hope that she was able to get enough wind and the ability with her wings to fly and stay up in the air too. That is something that I worry about her and I also didn’t think she was rowdy to fledge either. However, all the awesome videos that Lady Hawk has ever done have been all masterpieces no doubt. I can’t wait for the next season (that is if we don’t get to see our QT one more time). @@dskor3526 So wonderful to hear from you @dsk OR❤️🙏🏻. I have had something heavy on my mind and I did see when QT was able to get off the ground and fly. However, I understand that any bird needs wind to help take off and that the wind also has to be just right. But however when I saw the wind actually pick her up and took her literally flying in the air I was getting worried that she would be blown into the water and she wouldn’t know what to do or, she just would be blown or taken off course and she would either end up somewhere where she has no clue on what to do and just so many more thoughts came to my mind. I just keep hoping she comes back to her home. I still feel that she wasn’t ready to fledge and the wind took her and off course. I do pray she comes back. Sorry for going on about her like this but, I had to get my thoughts out of me or I would just cry my eyes out. I do miss her so much even though I do know she is just a bird and a wind one at that but I always get sad and miss an animal whether fledging or even being adopted. Yeah, this is my 7th fledge this year - 5 Eagle nests, one Osprey and now QT. Of course, I've cried over each one. 😭😭😭 Not to mention previous years' fledges. I just can't seem to get enough. They grow so fast and leave waaay to soon. It's a journey for all of us, as we pray for these "little" ones in their life travels. Godspeed little princess, and God bless you Lady Hawk, over and over again.
P.S. Lady Hawk, I saw your post that Samson has brought in the first stick to begin nestorations for the coming season. So, the cycle starts all over again. Can't wait.❤️❤️❤️

(Sharon Shneyer), Silvana you couldn't of expressed how we're all feeling now. I loved her gardening skills, and that squilley wiggley thing she did with her tail. I had only wished I had watched this nest from the beginning, but life got in the way. I was able to watch part of Takai's from last year. I got to watch the Winter Olympics, and even the figure skating which I follow and have always loved, given the responsibilities that were given me. Besides there are only so many videos one can watch, plus the fact that according to Vicki, Season 11 has started.

yes she did LH. QT had been walking around the headland and memorized everything here before starting her life long journey. I rewatched her fledged a few times and wondered if she imprinted the movement from mom. The confidence and the effortless lift just like YRK. Mom would be so proud their daughter becomes a pro. Miss you QT.
