25-Card SGC Reveal: Vintage Baseball!

Episode 121: They're here! I received my first submissions to SGC's grading services back, and I'm super excited to get into these for the big reveal! Did our initial guesses on what grades I'd receive hit the mark? All I can say is there are some nice surprises!

How do you know when you send these cards out to any grading company they do not swap your card with a lower grade card ? And keep your mint card for themselves?

Nice job on the OJ puns. I have to ask though… a 1971 Pete Rose in an estimated 5-6 can’t be worth grading, can it?

Thanks! I would say it depends. If for your personal collection, you can weigh it on your love of the card and how it looks slabbed/graded. If reselling, they're going for between $45 and $95 on ebay, so it's still probably worth the $14 grading fee if you have a raw one.

I think you guys weren`t taking into account the overall eye appeal of the cards. That seems to be what SGC is doing when grading vintage.
