It's awesome to see and hear how excited you both are! After almost 20 long years, this franchise might finally get the international recognition it so strongly deserves. The source material puts it easily on par with Game of Thrones, Stranger Things and other big names, if not even higher. Hopefully the live-action version can do it justice. One of things I am most excited about (and also a little scared) is to see how they will do the scene with Koh the Face Stealer. I mean, the animated version was already terrifying enough. Now imagine bringing to life a spirit that steals faces and uses them to talk with others. Not to mention the fact he has a centipede body, so he crawls around.

Agreed it looks so good it needs to be shown in the cinemas. There's so much detail and nuance that I'm worried a lot will be lost on the TV screen. The costumes, the sets, the cgi, the actors all look amazing and they've got the music totally nailed.
1000% agree! I hope this is Netflix's most successful series ever. Lets go 2/22. This is the only show I would potentially watch all the episodes in a theater🤔🤔

t is so worth rewatching the series, 3 seasons. I dont rewatch alot of series more then once, but I probably have watched avatar at least 3 times, not including reactors. Amazing.

I think your right about it potentially being the biggest series because you essentially have 3 generations of people that have seen the show. Parents who watched the show with their kids originally. The kids who watched it when it aired and all the new fans and kids who watched it during the pandemic when Netflix added the animated series. I am with you and hope this blows the roof off so we get the series fully realized.

Halo is my all-time favorite franchise and the live-action adaptation is coming back to crap on that universe again late next month so I need a good buffer of happiness from another live-action adaptation of a childhood franchise I love that doesn't suck would be great
