Bolero NEO is proper go to anywhere SUV and you can push to its limit and forget about the consequences of getting scratches 😂. If you are gonna travel to mountains, gonna need that RWD setup with extra torque.

Brezza vs XUV300 would be a more apt comparison. Otherwise Bolero Neo and Brezza are like apples and oranges. Built different, styled different and also for a different target audience. Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Nissan Magnite, Honda Elevate, XUV300.. these are more sensible comparisons as they have a lot more in common. Bolero Neo is simply on a league of its own. It needs similar ladder-on-frame, rwd, sub 4m, 7/5 seater vehicles to compare. Sadly other car manufacturers don't come up with similar vehicles. Even the so called SUVs from Tata are monocoque FWDs. Brezza is more of a urban 5 seater suv-styled sub 4m vehicle with hatchback features. Bolero Neo is more of a semi urban rwd sub 4m 7 seater compact suv.

The fact that Bolero will eat potholes while pothole will eat Brezza, Nexon, Venue etc. Venue in particular. Gosh my Venue is so uncomfortable even on smooth roads 😭😭
VENUE and Sonet Suspension is really bad don't compare with Brezza and Nexon these two have much better suspension .

Exactly lol! A journalist’s job isn’t to read the specsheet but to tell what an average joe can’t understand.
I can understand drive experience but how can they show service quality when it can always vary from city to city and service centre to service centre, plus they will even show partiallity to them when they see they are here for filming.

There is lot more in Bolero Neo than fancy features. Rear wheel drive, much more spacious than Brezza, body on lader frame construction, rear mechanical differential, bigger tyres, 7 seater when needed, better built than brezza, excellent ride quality and decent driving dynamics, very smooth, refined and fuel effecient diesel engine, easy to maintain and the list goes on.
Power to weight ratio would be much better stat comparison than just power
I like Bolero over Breeza however Bolero comes with 3cyl diesel engine which is not of everyone's choice....

Brezza MT now offers a claimed 17.38kmpl mileage, compared to the automatic variants’ 19.80kmpl figure
I am not 100% sure but 17.38kmpl is for low end variants with only petrol engine.
Whereas at higher variants it's a mild hybrid and that is why 19+ kmpl average.
I was checking out VXI AT model last week. And it is available with hybrid only.

Seeing the title, I was actually happy that someone finally was comparing Brezza to its closest rival as far as the customer base goes. Needless to say, video was equally disappointing.
Would be good if you'd do the same comparison again, but like an actual comparison where you compare non-obvious answers like ride quality, maintenance, comfort, driving manners etc.
I really liked watching the video, came to comments and read this one to realize that you are actually right!
It’s a no brainer if you compare these cars in terms of driving feel and feedback. Comfort included. The spec companion however shows how these two are actual closer than expected on paper.

Breeza is a joke of a car when they say its a SUV. Its not. Its just a taller FWD car 😂
For Bolero Neo, it's proper rear wheel drive (RWD), body on frame chasis and differential lock won the game for me while buying.
Brezza shit doesn't even come close to what Bolero Neo is offering, a true SUV with a super solid build quality at this price range.

I own a Bolero Neo N10. Upgraded from Swift VDI. And trust me.. Neo is the most rugged gangster comfortable car you can get under 13 lakhs. And ha.. the mileage @ 20kmpl is a cherry on top 🎉
