@@neu0zzy560 oh I've just seen a few videos. I'm a newbie so I'm trying my best to stay away from anything that may require work. I'll get there someday and maybe get myself a sweet superduke.
Hayden Nininger wow that would be a bike, and you are right in speaking of peace of mind in unexpected mechanical luck, hope you grow skills indef. and ride safe.
I still think the original 660cc single cylinder mt03 launched in 2006 was a cracking and much underated bike. I had one for 5 years and loved it. In fact it was the most fun bike I've owned. Certainly not the fastest but a real blast to ride. And with the official twin Akra under-seat cans fitted (baffles out) it sounded bloody incredible.
That front end reminds me of the 'Street Fighter' bikes of the mid-90's and early 2000's from England. Used to buy lots of British bike mags back in the day....Old man yells at cloud.
Agree. I love that setup of analog rev counter on the left, digital speed on the right and gear indicator in the middle. Its my favourite kind of layout for the dash. Plus, the negative colours will definitely be harder to read I think.

Love the front end and no kid at 57 and for me the twin is a big selling point over the competitor singles you mention. Just bought a new mt07 last month and like the front look of this mt03 more 👍🏻
Not bad! I rode the old MT03 as a loan bike when my MT07 was being service, I found the engine to be a bit gutless but I think I was so used to the MT07 at that point. I look forward to test riding this one though! Good informative video!
I have a 2017 Honda Africa Twin, and was interested in an R3 as a second bike. Great to know the MT-03 is coming to the USA! I will surely consider buying one in time for riding season 2020.
The new headlight makes it look like a proper street fighter now, I like it but I also like the CB300Rs style too, round headlight is more classy but the angular stuff is pretty risky but can look cool
Yes the Honda CB300R is a single cylinder, more vibey and has less power than the MT-03. I would rather have the MT-03 than the CB300R. But there is the CB500F, with 150cc more displacement (better low end torque), more power, better fuel consumption than the existing (and probably this) MT-03. The Honda has a good size fuel tank. Range of 260 to 300 miles. The 2019 CB500F now has a slipper clutch and lovely gearbox. Yes it is a bit dearer than the MT-03, if I was after an A2 bike I would have the CB500F. Saying that I quite like the look of the new MT-03 (apart from the headlight) , but I would still have the Cb500f.
Great looking bike but I reckon the old mt03 660 is still an amazing 'starter' bike that looks fantastic and is great fun to ride. I owned one from 2008-2012 and never got bored of it's big single cylinder engine and great handling. And you can pick 'em up for £1200-£2500 now. Must have the Acro' cans fitted though as these improve the sound immeasurably.
I went in a yamaha, royal enfield dealers browsing bikes. Sounds like the new MT-03 is going to be about £5500 on the road. I would definitely have the CB500F over the MT-03. Its only fractionally dearer, and better.
@@jamespowell7325 yeah mate I know, was just saying if I was like 22 an got an A2 I'd go for the mt03 just maybe to start, like taking into account maybe funds etc.
I have a 2019 mt09. The only thing I don't love about it is the unfinished look of the headlights. It's something that I can look past though because to me looks are not everything. Very fun bike to ride and scare yourself on.😁
I'm a bit of an oldie (68) and I think it looks pretty good. I love all the retro bikes, but you'd get bored of seeing them if everything looked retro.
The overall redesign looks great, especially the front end, but my problem with it is that it looks too small. The whole front light until looks so small in comparison to the beefed up body. I'm hoping it's just the pics and it will look better in person.
The MT-03 is famous around these parts for being somewhat bad on the fuel efficiency department, being thoroughly beaten by the CB500F and the 390 Duke. Of all the bikes currently on the market I'd still choose Honda's 500 line, the naked mostly, but with the market today you can't really make a bad choice, the Ninja400/Z400, Duke 390, MT-03/R3, RE Interceptor 650 are all good choices.
I like the CB300R's styling though, although im probably only one of the few exceptions of possible young buyers. Im quite torn between this and the CB300R. I prefer the 2 cylinders, as I've rode a lot of single cylinder bikes and want to try a new experience.

No matter how hard i try, i really cannot find anything gorgeous in these new designs, especially the new headlights. The old mt07 looked okay with that small semi oval headlight. But these robotic heads upfront..mehh. Anyway nice to see new models for the newcomers and see new prospective bikers.
Bike looks killer in blue. I currently ride a CB300F but would love to try one of these. Not sure if they are offered in the states though. Edit: just looked on the website and it looks like the MT-03 is new to the USA for 2020! But not in blue 😔

This bike would be an attractive proposition if it was a single, but it will be buzzy.
