Just wanted to wish you a safe and Happy Thanksgiving. Also I decided to get the Legend pro pack with the LG 24 coil and I absolutely love it, using your settings and others I found on UA-cam having a great time with it, thanks for all you do 👊
It could be one of several reasons for the low battery indication. It's probably not the charger, I use a 6 amp unit myself but i don't think that's the problem. It could be a defective battery or the circuit that monitors the battery condition may be out of calibration. Run the unit until it dies then try and charge it again. If that does not work send it back to Garrett.
Great puppy CD ,cords and chargers are weird sometimes maybe shortecablev.hopefully you get it figured out. Thanks for he video and happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends.Cheers
CD, With what is showing with battery charge level. Turn u it on and let it run. Multifreq. See how long detector runs. Might tell you something. It may run a long time.
Charging is a pain sometimes and if that is actually Charging that's no good at all. I'm sure you all experience this too. Sometimes I unplug the block, cable and device, wait 5 minutes and plug it all in again, presto. This happened with the Nox recently after all day on the charger. It's like a time out or overheat I really don't know. Hopefully it works. I know Calabash deals with a ton of electronic devices and all of the time, great with that stuff too. Shoot let's see!
The Legend is the same way. If your charger doesn't have a high enough output it won't charge at all or very fast at all. The fact that your battery was so low out of the box however, makes me think it may be defective. These machines haven't been sitting on a shelf for years....it should have been at full power.
I would try a (output)5v 2amp charger. Thats the spec. On the nose. The charger you showed, busted the spec in the instruction manual. Not sure about the charger you did not show. Some of these LIPO’s batteries will not charge if you go over the spec. Some have safeties that will not allow current to flow into the battery if it detects out of spec chargers. Just a thought. Looking forward to a good review J. Happy Thanksgiving!🦃🍽
Calabash, i would try another charger and cable as others have mentioned, just to be sure. I've had an issue at times with Manticore that if I recharge it too quickly, like after a 2 hr hunt, it doesnt want to charge up. Lithium ion isnt supposed to have a memory, but thats what it feels like in these instances to me. I have to drain the battery way down to get a good solid charge.
@@calabashdiggeradventures Some of those batteries take a long time to charge on the initial charge, but certainly not what you're experiencing. What do you mean by "it also bricked"?
Yes the doodles are great pups , they are great with children!!!! Very Smart !!!

Well, we know what the new Puppy thinks about the Vortex!

Happy Thanksgiving CB digger
Thanks 👍
Wonder how long these units have been sitting in a warehouse flat which is not good for the batteries
I think Slash has his own opinion of the Vortex. Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy thanks giving, no turkey in the UK until Xmas . That dog will soon have you trained.🤣🤣
Happy holidays!
I'd try an in spec block and another cable just to verify it's the battery that's the issue so we all know exactly the reason.
Happy Thanksgiving Calabash!
Same to you!
Maybe it needs a 'Made in the USA Charger' to go with the 'Made in the USA Detector' - lol - Happy Thanksgiving Guys
I like the black dog better than the blue on. Hmm

Iffy has the same problem...Long charge time...it also bricked...

Software glitch in the new video I show it..
Question is is it charged? Or is the indication in error?
Happy TDay CD!
It finally fully charged.
I have one electrical unit that doesn’t like the fast charging block, but it will charge with a regular block over time. Maybe something similar.
I think so...
Try a different cable. The cable might be dead ...
I dont know whats worst these days! Garretts or Gopros! happy Thanksgiving Calabash!
GO PROS are the worst..
🦃⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Is the detector equipped with its own charger?? and cables ??
No charger only cable ..
Калабаш сила💪, Мудэлай магила
Last night at the unboxing, you said it was at one bar, and it is still the same, so it isn't charging at all.. Is the charging polarity correct?
I dont know but it is at full now after 14 hours..
Send it back, you got a defect
He only pooped because the vortex was in the room
all my charging units for my detectore are 5 volts @ 2,5 amps [ NOT 9V AND 12 VOLTS ] you might be over charging the battery and it shuts down.
I heard of another person with same issue...
Some of the usb-c cords I have won’t charge certain usb-c devices I have, some are data only or somethin odd. Try the cord it came with n see
I’ve noticed this too on my usb c devices as well. Didn’t think of that.
