🐱 I’ve never seen a fish like this before!
I ordered this absolutely ADORABLE Thai oranda goldfish about 3 weeks ago and she’s the cutest goldfish I’ve ever seen in my life!
She has an orange cat-shaped pattern on her face which makes her so unique/rare and easily recognizable - she’s like a little “catfish.” 🥹
Right now she’ll be kept in this 27 gallon quarantine tub for 1-2 months then I’ll transfer her into a glass tank. I forgot to film this but I also added a heater (74°F/23.3°C) and another internal filter.
As of now, she's 1.2 years old (I’m not sure her exact birthday, so I’ll say June 1, 2021), 3 inches lengthwise, and a single pringle. I want to get her a friend in the future so stay tuned for his/ her arrival!
I really love the name Kitty. I think it suits her well but I’m open to other name ideas! 🤍

From watching Luke's Goldies, he has orandas and other fancy goldfish and he keeps them at 83 degrees, not cold water.
I mean.. not all fish are the same, technically I don’t own either of the kinds he has or what she got so I wouldn’t EXACTLY know but go off I guess.
He said to keep them at 78 but 83 can be good for quarantining fish
goldfish are stronger than tropical fish where they can handle temps out of their range but with cooler water fish it’s easier for them to stay in warmer water as long as they are properly acclimated and higher temp is better for quarantine but they live there best life in cooler water
It's a different kind of fish every fish needs a different tempature
