You really squashed the debate over the size of the body that left people in a pickle. I don't think anyone else could have explained it as unbeetably as you have. You gave every kernel of fact with the measurements. It was good that you lettuce know about this! Thanks, Fil!

Cool comparing, but a real squash 🙂It's very close to the WR01 in many ways but with all the gears in one box. I been fighting the weather today and made a right mess of the paint, I'm hoping the decals had a lot but I made a mistake on the masking line. But then once bashed a bit does the body matter quit as much.
You can always repair any mistakes you made. It's always easier to cover it with a decal, but if that doesn't cut it, I did a complete video on fixing paint mistakes.
Awesome work!! Have you got a Tamiya CR-01 to drop the Van Squash body on? If it fits it I think it might look most excellent on that chassis. Keep up the great work. Ed 🇬🇧
Thanks for watching, Ed. No, unfortunately I don't have a CR01. I've been tempted to get one for years, just prioritized other kits over it. But you're right, the VS body on there would be wicked! Cheers! 🍻👊🏼
@@poorboysrc thank you for getting back to me!! I’m waiting for the body set to come out as I’m doing a body / chassis shuffle and will have a naked CR-01 chassis after getting a body-less WR-01 chassis that a CC-01 Bruiser body is going on, then the CC chassis is going shorter wheel base for the 70’s Bronco body from the CR. The wheelbase miss match finally got too much for my eyeballs and the Squash looks about right. That was a long and boring story… Anyway, thanks for your candid content 😎
how viable do you think clod spec wheels and tires would be on the Squash Van? My concern (although it may be misplaceed) is added stress and heat to that WW1 tanke-esque drive system rather than the suspension or motor, which I plan on changing anyway. Also, I can't seem to find the weight of tge squash van anywhere, so if you have that it would be great
I bet you could get Clod wheels on there. You might have to go with an aftermarket wheel though, as the SV uses 12mm hex, and the Clod has that big round adapter. Unfortunately, I don't have a scale, otherwise I'd weight it up for you. 😭
