Crochet super EASY ANGEL Hexagonal yolk for dresses, cardigans, hoodies all sorts of baby clothing. This is so easy and makes beautiful girl/boy any baby clothing easy. Use small er hook for smaller sizes and bigger hooks for larger sizes. Use any yarn Chain count is 56. from 6 months size add 2 extra rounds to the yolk.
With UK 3mm hook makes newborn
With UK 3.5mm hook makes 3months
With UK 4.5mm makes 6 months
With UK 5.5mm hook makes 9-12 months

Thank you so much. So well explained. I wish to make a jumper for 5yr old in double knitting wool, so I will increase my amount of stitches in the chain.

If you have a jumper or even a cardigan for a 5 year old in your house you can use it as a template. What i do is make your chain to the size around the top neck of your template jumper. (the one you already have) that's what i do then start your yolk. you can make adult sizes that way too. use a jumper you already have. once you do the yolk just stop when it reaches the under arm pits. I hope that helps

Yes you could but try doubling the stitch count try a chain of 108 do 14stitches make a corner do 22 stitches then make a corner do 30 then a corner do 22 stitches and a corner finish with last 14st. Then continue. I think you will have to kerp wrapping it around your neck to see if corners will meet under your arms try 25 rows of the yolk see if that will work.. I will give it a try when I'm back from holiday
