Thank you so much for explaining how you do the top down cardigan. Everyone else seems to want us to purchase the “math” needed to crochet the different sizes. You are a true blessing! 💐💐
I have been crocheting since I was eight years old and I am now 55. I’ve always been confused on how to do the math when it comes to making the proper yoke. This video is the first video made it make so much sense to me. I loved the way you walked through it. Nice and easy slowly and clearly. I’m so grateful thank you
Superb! Thanks for explaining the mathematics behind crochet enabling us to adapt the yoke to any size. Really appreciate the effort you have made for this video
Thank you I love the way you work out the measurement easy to followed Next time can you please do a full cardigan . So I can see how the sleeves are done, I do appreciate your style keep it up..
Fantastic!!!! Thank you so very much. You have no idea how much you've helped me. I will now be designing my own garments. A million thanks, my dear ❤️
Thank you SO much for this video!! I’ve been wanting to make top-down sweaters for a long time, but wanted the freedom to use whatever yarn, hook size, or stitch I wanted, and not have to buy a new pattern every time. With this, I can make it however I want!! Currently working on my first one and it’s going great. I’m so excited. You’re the MVP. 😁
Your instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I would like to design a cardigan for a doll and your tutorial will be really helpful. Thank you so much.
The red one your doing…is that another size different from the beginning sizes?…I’m using the same measurements you use and my yoke is soo much bigger than this red one..?
Thank you for this very informative viedo, i have been looking at yokes for so long yrying to make them large and i just ran across your wonderful tutorial, now i am ready to make some cardigans for my 7 grandsons, THANK YOU AGAIN. for sharing your skills
I looked at others to fiqure out yoke and I was confused. Your explanation was presise and clear to understand for the cal ulations. Thank you I am new subscriber
Thank you for these easy to follow instructions! Makes so much more sense than most patterns that give you an exact # of stitches to start with. We’re all shaped differently! Awesome job!! 👍👍New subscriber.
Thank you so much for this video. Question? If I wanted to use this theory do a yoke for a dress, would I just join at the beginning and work in the round?
I'm gonna totally use this!! But, just so I'm clear. In the first row, the first chain 3 counts as a stitch but in the other rows it DOESN'T count as a stitch. Right?
Im sorry one more question In the corner Could we do 1dc chain 1 or 2 and than. 1dc ? Along with instead of that what about just 2dc in the corner ? Does it have to be 2dc. Chain 2dc?
Thank you very much .... It's a size small. If you want to see how it looks finished, I used the same measurements for the sweater top in this tutorial: ua-cam.com/video/NvHzUHs3sac/v-deo.html
How would u do it this if u want the cardigan a bit oversized it u didn’t want it snug but a little bit loose would u add on like 5 stitches to everything except the 4 which is the increase part

How would u do it this if u want the cardigan a bit oversized it u didn’t want it snug but a little bit loose would u add on like 5 stitches to everything except the 4 which is the increase part
Yes, it's just a matter of adding more stitches to the yoke😊
What size hook are you using please? I trying to make a large size.
You can use any crochet hook suitable for your yarn
I was using a 4.00 mm
How do you do the sleeves
If I want to make a size large. How many chains do I start with
Follow what I did with a Large well fitted top
How many skeins do you use to make the yoke?
Depends on the size you’re trying to make
