I liked the accent, but could've been better planned with the LED's on the room side and knock-out lights on the wall side and taking advantage of textures of the wall. I'm not sure the epoxy was even needed. Materials of detailed fashion can set the led need.
The epoxy is OK, and an idea to be easier to clean/vacuum dust & Debris, however the "led" strips should NOT have been inside the epoxy. The "led's" should have been attached to the underside of steps against the "dried" epoxy to still allow the light to make epoxy glow colors & "allow" for fix/replace burnt out leds on both sides of steps. The raised tread look is a good idea & allows them to "appear as floating" & not anchored to wall, elevating the design to a nicer look. Alot of the under stair work could have all been done before installing the panels .
LED strip lights have an average lifespan of 30,000 to 50,000 hours. Assuming 5 hours of use per day, that's over 16 years on the low end. I don't think it's going to be an issue.
You should have added an aluminum chanel for a heat sink for your LEDs if your going to that muchwork .It will make your lights last 5 times longer and its dirt chesp.
I'm all for adhesives but there's a term. Less is more. Copious amounts of adhesive don't cure properly. The landing at the bottom, well, I'm not sure what happened there? Was the end result good looking, sure.

Thank you for the update, TechFreeze..!! Truly a work of art. The second video showing the installation of a curbless shower system is amazing as well.
Great build not just the stairs but the shower as well. As some have pointed out replacing LED strip will require a lot of unnecessary work if they were installed a different way. Definitely liked the pet bed under the stairs and little cupboard. Great video.
This is a joke. No one builds stairs like this because you’d never be able to tear it out without ruining everything. Fun fact: those LED strips aren’t good forever. This was a waste of $3000.
I can definitely lift some ideas from this. Minor thought, but why not insulate under the landing and respective treads too?! Not a fan of the handrail/bracket choice
Hello my friend, your work is more than wonderful. Your high-level work skills and techniques have made me very enthusiastic about entering this field and gaining skills from you personally. I only need the work tools and start immediately. I wish you success, my friend. ❤

Love it and great video. My only thing would be to hide the led from top by some defuse strip vs encased in epoxy. Those go bad that is entire stair replacement
Hello Hello just like start with I first time watcher of this and must say I like your work definitely got a new subscriber in me but one thing I must say is I really enjoyed the little fire hydrants you paint on walls underneath steps for dog area you get 👍👍👍 from me plus thanks an keep making great content
Not a fan of the LED look. Who really wants to be blinded when going up and down stairs? Then you also made it impossible for the LED to be replaced when the diodes start burning out without redoing the project. The LED really should be an accent for the stairs, so it's best to have the strips run along the nose of each tread. That way they're pointing down and not directly in the eyes. They're easily accessible and replaceable.
I would never use drywall in the shower. Even the blue or green moisture resistant. Cement board or Schlueter foam board only. The drywall is only for the rest of the bathroom.
Absolutely horrendous. No idea where to start on this abomination. Poor craftsmanship and work practices but worst of all truly awful planning and design. All flash and cash for this trash.
Watching screws being screwed, watching holes being drilled, watching saws sawing and cables being installed is the most boring entertainment on UA-cam nowadays. 😊
Only one question. What you gonna do when one of your LED in stair burn out? Deconstruct whole stair? This is not repairable...
My very first thought 😂

It always gets me how so much useful lumber is destroyed.
Some people have more money then brains this clip proves it

Nice work man 👍👍👍👍🤘
And if the LEDs stop working lol?

The simplicity of your approach is truly beautiful!
Thank you, you work very well and your work is very technical
Not a good idea to epoxy in strip lighting. Probably made in China and will need replaced sooner rather than later. Looks cool though.
I very much agree with you.
Beautiful work.
I would love to have someone like you do this for me. Great job

Great video.
Excelente trabajo mucho talento y dedicación felicidades.
That's one expensive LED replacement job😂
That is some beautiful work

You do superb quality work, respect.

Great work!
Really cool work, those projects mean business

Good organazer,lov it
Really nice work… well done. But I would never cast in a led light strip… ever.
I learned a phrase to excuse lazy precision: "I'm not building a piano". Your workmanship could actually build a piano.
Dobra robota 👍

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING DUDE 🇺🇸
Yeah imma have to just glue a strip of lights along the edges and be done.
Looks like the recess light was drilled wrong the first time.
What happens when Leds go bad?
Why attach the inside stringer to the wall? If that wall settles it's going to pull the stairs out of level.
Admire the skill, enthusiasm and ingenuity; why cut up solid stairs to begin with? ...sorry I get it now. That's a solid well done
Some design flaws, however nice craftsmanship. How many did it take to complete the various projects in this video
Those Led's last 50 years?
I would never use drywall in the shower. Even the blue or green moisture resistant. Cement board or Schlueter foam board only. The drywall is only for the rest of the bathroom.
Young "Americans" learn this skills and your borders will be free of workers😊
It's a pity that in six months the LEDs will burn out and everything will need to be taken apart.
7:41 what kind of blue machine name???

How to make a $3000 staircase/closet using your $5000 wood shop
Watching screws being screwed, watching holes being drilled, watching saws sawing and cables being installed is the most boring entertainment on UA-cam nowadays. 😊
You need to use some glue.
Like all the glues...
Man sieht die fehlende deutsche Tischlerei Ausbildung.
Komplett falsch gemacht!
Why is it 3k? I could build that for under $300 easily
Show us. And I’ll pay you 5K. Go, boy!
It is quite overkill.
$3,000???? With everything entailed, how did you make any money? Want a job in Virginia 😂?
Quando queimar os leds troca-se a escada? Isso não é nada pratico.
Awful lot of work for such a dumb project
Destroying a perfect stair for such a cheap eyecatcher.
Terrible carpentry the wost stairs ive ever seen in my life cowboys
The installer is damn sexy!!
