  • Yes I know, another walk around video of one of these rigs. If you are familiar with the channel you know full well that is not the case here. If you are new, then you are in for a treat not typical of these rigs by a long shot.
    Well, after making many videos regarding certain sections of our boats, I am finally doing a full walkaround tour of the build on my Bass Tracker Classic XL! Bear in mind, this video does NOT include upgrades I have made to the trailer (that of which I have done several), only the boat itself. This video serves as an aid (not gospel) to help you outfit your rig for a better performing setup if desired and applies not exclusively to Bass Tracker Classic XL's, but to any boat which may lack something you see in this video.
    This is definitely a longer one than I make, but I try to make sure to go into good detail about nearly every mod the boat has, down to the outboard it has.
    Lets get you out there!
    If you enjoyed this video and/ or found it helpful, please subscribe as there will be more rolling out. I am ALWAYS open for suggestions on what videos to make next, so please drop me a comment in the comments section.
    Follow my IG: extremeboating for more information on mods, and more frequent posting.

    Good stuff man. I upgraded my aerator fill cartridge to 1250gph and bilge to 1000gph. It’s interchangeable with the stock 500gph bodies. Literally takes 15 minutes to unclip, remove, and reconnect. Cartridges cost about $30 on Amazon. Will definitely be worth it for that dope new livewell

    Nice boat. Just one question. After all of the work and expense you've put in, why not just buy the Pro Team 175 ?.

    I have a 2022 model and I have done exactly none of that. I especially would not put all of that weight in the rear. A co-angler back there would swamp you in a heartbeat. Also, switching to a stronger trolling motor has been known to crack the hull to deck weld.

    Some very cool upgrades. I have a 2018 Bass Tracker Heritage Anniversary model. I would definitely like a deck extension. Right now, I'm installing three 106sv's, Livescope Plus LVS 34, and a GT56 transducer. I can't do more until I pay those off. Where did you get the recess pan for the Terrova foot pedal? That's not the stock foot pedal correct?

    • @extremeboating7347
      @extremeboating7347  2 місяці тому +1

      That's correct. In that video I had a Terrova installed and then switched over to the Garmin Force for a short while before I sold my rig. I got the foot pedal pan from Amazon if I remember correctly for like $50 at the time. It was a really well made one.

    Hey where did you get those rod bungee straps? Do they just screw into deck? Did you drill first? Nice video

    • @extremeboating7347
      @extremeboating7347  Рік тому

      Thanks brother! I picked up the rod straps at my local sportsman's warehouse and the rod straps are made by TH-Marine. They are called the "Rod Tamer." Because the front deck is wood I just used the same screw that is provided to start making the hole where I wanted it and then I just kept going until it was tight from there.

    Awesome JOb Mr Sir !! who needs a 20' $50k-$60k Boat when you can T-O-T Trick Out A Tracker 😎 Like'n the Deck exten storage divider .and Middle seat ,, I've seen back deck steps added there yours is the first i've seen with an actual seat 🤟... (Black 2021 Classic XL) Just roughed out and put in my 24'' deck extn..fits almost perfect (almost LoL),, need to trim some wood and round off on 2 areas.... I don't fish tournaments (still take 10 rods with me thou 🤷‍♂LoL) just a week day fisherman ... I left a triangle area open to still access the rod holders. to keep Rods tucked away when out with the wife / friends (plan is to lengthen the tubes to the edge of the extended deck..taking rods OUT at the lake was easy ,, putting Rods IN at 5am I needed a flashlight LoL) ,,took it out 7/25 for a test drive 👌I'm Like'n it !! deck feels nice & sturdy , it didn't move / bounce around (used 1'' Alum Angle) ..carpets on order ,,next to do ,cut the storage lid Fit & finish ,party stacker,, rear deck step and a towel for a 3rd person to sit on it LoL,, Thanks for sharing you Rig Luv It !!❤

      You know what, believe it or not I don't fish tournaments either, at least up to this point I have not, that may change in the next year or less, but I like to have my rig ready for anything for when and if the time ever comes.
      I'm glad to hear you are doing some work on yours. It's always nice to see something materialize itself throughout the process and ultimately become what it's intended for and work well for the purpose. The deck extension really transforms the boat doesn't it? It also is a game changer for whoever is up front. So much more walking space and even allows a second man to be up there to cast as well when and if they want to.
      Thanks for taking the time to check out my video. I hope it helps inspire you to do more to your rig as well. Right lines!

      @@extremeboating7347 you deff. are ready to go play the game with your set up...A recessed foot pedal would be nice but I'm a lil timid about cutting into the original deck and screwing something up.... I hear it's easy but eeeeeee,,, deff a better graph up front , i upgraded that 4'' to a 7'' split shot on a ram mount for the dash and put the 4'' up front & would luv a nicer trolling motor with spot lock .....just gotta convince the wifey But Hunny I need It LoL LoL ,,,,,

      You just gotta tell her that without it the boat will sink or you won't be able to use the boat right. It's a little harder to argue though because a boat is more of a luxury than doing something like car mods. 🤣

    Did you have to add an aerator to the livewell? Separate from the fill pump?

    • @extremeboating7347
      @extremeboating7347  4 місяці тому

      I did, but that aerator that you see is not an aerator nozzle, it's a recirculation nozzle/ pump out nozzle which recycles the same water that's in the livewell and just cycles it through a loop.

    What size rims and tires did you put on your trailer, noticed that when looking at background pic of truck and boat/trailer picture.

    • @extremeboating7347
      @extremeboating7347  Рік тому

      I went with 14 inch tires and rims. It required replacing leaf springs to a triple setup, however, and did involving some light trimming of the flares. All easy to take care of.. but nevertheless was needed in order to run the setup.
      If you need more info regarding sizing and specs I'd be happy to give you that info, but we would have to get your trailer all set up and ready first.

      I never made a video on that process as it was too long and arduous of a process for me to have the patience to film. I also didn't do it because there are other videos out there which go into very specific detail on how to build it. All I did was create a different style version from the ones out there using the same kind of architecture, just framed slightly differently. Check out Bred For Bass's videos on the deck extension. He made a mini series out of it and goes into great detail explaining how to do it and what is needed to do it.

      What makes you say that?

    • @billlombardo721
      @billlombardo721 Рік тому

      The boat isn’t rated for what all you’ve done. You’ve got a coast guard sticker on there for Max hp motor you’ve exceeded. It also gives weight, which if you get 3 people on that boat you’ll be way over. Likely over with 2. Try it, fill that live well up and put 2 more people on your boat and tell me if you can get on plane.

    • @extremeboating7347
      @extremeboating7347  Рік тому +1

      @@billlombardo721 it does get on plane with two people (one fat guy and myself) just fine and still hits 37 mph despite the livewell adding a bunch of water weight on top of us in there. I won't even bother with a third person because I never run more than two on this rig anyways. If I do the third guy hangs out in the front with me. I'm aware that I'm exceeding a lot of the modest max ratings of the manufacturer which are coincidentally higher on the Pro 170 despite being the same hull. I take their ratings with a grain of salt due to that. Thanks for watching.
