This look interesting but just as with AoE3, AoE4 also has terrible visual clarity. All those fancy graphics just make it harder to watch. I do not want to see landscapes. I want to see the game. Thinking about it now. Adding black outlines to everything may make it good.

AOE4 looks like they are trying to simplify things from AOE2 and 3. Only problem I find is the visual clarity but thinking they could change visuals and stuff I'm not worried about it.
Imagine if this game makes AOE grow into a way bigger esport, could be cool.
Agreed, I find from a gameplay perspective the visuals are awful. Everything is blurred, bloom is at maximum, maybe it's to hide the crazy amount of anti-aliasing that's needed for all the in-game models running around.

Why does the entire terrain get tinted white every single damn time a building is selected? So annoying xD
How do you change you faction colour and can you on solo ? Or is it always blue on solo?
At first glance I thought this was viper teasing by referring to Nili as "and more" because it was right next to recommends of his videos.

@PEDRO LAVIN FERRADA and also we can't see much of the game. I prefer 3D isometric and strategy on where you put building in aoe2

@@sebastianbetancourt1428 too much micro is stupid in RTS....this isn't an fps. RTS is about big brain macro moves with a little micro. If you need the quick click rush, go watch a fps.

Unit micro seems less important in aoe4

He had a single melee unit for his composition and he was focused on booming more then combat.

The Graphics are awful. In Aoe 2 you feel like watching a film and this is just some comic garbage like Northgard. Why do RTS Games tend to stray further from the beauty that they had?

An score addition to the names would be helpful
They removed the scores by design, the idea is that it gives away too much free scouting info.
