Nothing wrong with having a headcanon that it's the 15th Doctor in The World Tree (I certainly do) but it's funny to think just how quickly Big Finish would have shut that down if it was even implied in the final draft. I'm fairly sure that the "Doctor Who (2023-)" will be treated as a separate licence from the New Series (just as "2005-2022" is a distinct license from "1963-1996") so this would be less teasing at the edges of what Big Finish are allowed to do and more just directly using a character they have no rights to.
It falls into that crack of being veague enough in the final product to not get in any trouble over licenses. And if the writer considers it 15 I think that’s enough unless anything that comes later directly contradicts it.
@@CulturePhilter Yes. Or have some fun and sneak Susan Twist into other Doctor's stories. I mean, she cameod in Wild Blue Yonder, which had Tennant in it.
@@timrob12 yes could do. Wouldn’t even need the license for current series because it would just be hiring Susan Twist and getting her to play ANY small role 😄
Hi I wached but I will be honest I haven't had time to go into extended media (despite owning some). So I can't really have an opinion beyond it all sounds logical the way you describe it and very interesting 😅 One day I will get to read/listen to some of the extended media I have 😂😂
This is the first time I’ve tried to keep up with ALL expanded media as it comes out for a particular Doctor. It’s quite the challenge. Hopefully the releases don’t come quicker than they have this year or I won’t be able to keep up.

If Fifteen gets to Big Finish, I hope they keep up the easter egg of Susan Twist playing a different character in each story.
But only for any stories set before The Legend if Ruby Sunday.

@@CulturePhilter Fair point.
@@timrob12 hoping to hear her randomly pop up in an 8th Doctor audio some point this year. 😄
The similarities between X guy and the other X guy are so funny! 😂 They definitely took some inspiration from the real world!
Yes it’s quite amusing. 😄
Great vid Phil. Do you know if the FCBD '24 will be included in the collection release of Everyone Must Go?
I don’t know but I would hope so.
First. The original you might say. The Muskrats already have it in for Fifteen. May need to check out the comics. Happy new year.
Took me a second to work out ‘Muskrats’ there.
