I am a spiritual person of no particular faith. I find your videos and Islam in general beautiful and inspirational. I found your videos by chance while looking for Islamic poetry on UA-cam because Islamic poetry (particularly Rumi) brings peace to my soul. I love what you do here. Bless you, and may peace and love follow you your whole life.

Salaam Shinta. Insha-Allah I will try to make a video on this. Yet think of the natural state of a child in fitra-it is of happiness and joy. Only as the mind, and thus the ego structure, develops do we lose that. May Allah Almighty guide to what is best and most blessed.
I love the religion of Islam. I am a Catholic but I think I'm going to convert soon. It is hard for me to do khalwa bc I suffer from anxiety. I do not know if Allah is willing to help me as a Catholic
I don't know if you embraced Islam yet. Know that Allah says 2:186 And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided. 50:16 And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein (by Our knowledge) May God guide you and guide all of us
Dear mister Ihsan. U seem like an intelligent man and I have a question that u might be able to answer. I would like to know why so much terrorism and extremism seems to come from an Islamic foundation. Is it because Islam is the 2nd largest religion in the world, combined with Islamic extremists who practice their faith according to Sharia ideology? Please dont judge me as this is a question asked without any malice, I just want to understand or be educated.
Peace and light. There are two reasons for this. The first and primary is that in general, Muslims have fallen into ignorance regarding their own faith, and while there are clear geopolitical reasons for such decay that have much to do with global events and the involvement of western nations in Muslims societies over the course of recent history, such does not absolve Muslims nonetheless of acting with excellence, light, beauty and true faith by returning to the noble example of the Prophet ﷺ himself as he endured great hardships and abuse, yet responded with excellence and balance. Secondly, terrorism is a human problem and it is disproportionately reported and associated by media when it comes to acts of violence committed by "Muslims." An entire book can be written on the subject, and deserves to be. Yet the truth is that Islam teaches and seeks peace and justice, and the mandate of a Muslim is to protect and ensure compassion for all life and living things. May God guide and bless.
@Health H, that is the reason why islam is divided into sects when the prophet didnt want it to. People adhere to a name and don't look at what islam really is. You can learn islamic teachings from Iblis, that doesnt make the islamic teachings nonislamic. you have to take what is true and separate it from the false, doesn't matter where it comes from. Sadly not alot of people have the mental capacity for this and we are human and we sometimes make mistakes thats why we have istaqhara

Youre one of the most important people in my life
Sufism is not a sect, but a vital branch of Islamic knowledge.

I really want to dive into Sufism but my husband is strongly opposed to any label other than Sunni. I am especially curious about the tariqas.

Should be educated in shariah and should get permission from an accomplish shiekh before entering into the kalwah session.

Iam worry about the deviant paths that sufis take since Iam a sunni (orthodox) muslim, It does not click at all,
Haithamov Hy they are not deviant and u are not an orthodox, shaytani wahhabi.
