I'm glad I wasn't drinking something when you gave the price!
I saw this unit at a RV show a couple months ago, I wish RV manufacturers in the US made RVs as well as this unit is built.
No Profit in a Cure _
Some do.
I would think an outdoor shower would be good. And more storage onside. Maybe some netting. I really like the doors!
Been to Denmark 3 times for work. Worked for a Danish medical company. The quality of the Danes is great. Awesome trailer. Lonnie, 👍🏼 good job.
Matt, go to Denmark! Show us the factory!! Nice unit, very high quality!! I love how the kitchen is outside, but wish it came with a fridge and a stove.
Yes if they buy my plane tickets that is all I need lol
I have the 12L compressor fridge in mine, and I am just about to install a Dometic stove which I will be covering on my UA-cam channel. They really are a great tear drop.
@@SpectrumGeeks headed to your channel now 👍🏻
@@tamirule4216 Hope you enjoy.
I love fishing, this things looks perfect for fishing trips, you are still outdoor-ish, yet comfortable and safe from the weather and critters. Two people can manipulate it even in tighter positions, love it!
I could see elevating the camper a few inches and making storage slides underneath. Adding a little bit larger water tank with outdoor shower, a fridge and cook top would be nice. I didn’t hear propane or how it was powered other than solar. Great quality that will outlast RV’s we are use to. LGB pricing shouldn’t be shocking to anyone right now. Awesome camper! Glad to see quality challenging the status quo!
I hope you get enough hits on this video to go to Denmark. For a long time now I've been watching what goes on in the class A and C industry in Europe and I think you would fascinated by their innovation It's like a Ford transit RV that's longer and with rear tandem axles.
Great one Matt, loved the kitchen. The whole trailer looks good.
Killer trailer! Awesome video ....makes me reconsider the trailer I'm about to purchase while I consider this one. I wish there was a dealer in AZ that had one to check out in person!
There is toms camper land
@@MattsRVReviewsTowables Ohhh!!! I see it now! Great FYI! That being said, do you (Matt) get comp'd on a sale at Tom's Camper Land? You've provided SO much insight and value to our next purchase ...if possible, we want to make sure you get part of the deal ;)
@@clintharris8519 Just email me if you decide to buy from them. Also let them know to tell their boss that you watch Matts RV Reviews and it will help you on negations
We bought a used RV at Tom's Camperland (sorry Matt it was before you were a part of the network) and the experience was very smooth and no pressure. Got a great deal and were treated very nicely. We are very happy with the RV as well.
Always bringing us interesting content, Matt! I’d totally a watch a video touring the factory in Denmark.
What a god sent item for adventure people!!
Likes: 1) website shows two sizes of tent for top 2) fits in a garage - spare beds for the sleepovers 3) built in solar is innovative
Sort Of A Dislike: we are use to having refrig and stove at that price point, but on other hand I always liked having one cooler stocked with frozen items and thin slabs of ice and a cooler for drinks/cold cuts/cheese.
We need more Euro engineered campers, RVs, vans here in USA. When you go to Denmark travel on down to Germany on high speed train, they have some stellar manufacturers of RVs
Just came on to send Matt to Denmark. Give us a tour of all the awesome things Europe is doing in the RV world. Because we seriously need it
Would love to see one of the engineers do a walk around showing off their work. Factory tour? The chassis. The gally hatch water ingress protection, The door closures, The weight saving features. This thing looks like an engineering dream albeit with a price to match.
Totally agree with the entertainment philosophy. You are out in the wild with so much to keep you entertained. Leave the screens at home!
Saw one of these this weekend in AZ, gotta say, I really liked it. No roof tent on the model I saw but I really wish I could find a way to get one for when I just want to go out alone or with my boys. We still need the TT for my wife to be comfy :)
I just found your channel and I love you guys. Are used to follow another reviewer for campers. I follow a bunch of stuff and keep up with it so I’ll be watching your videos every few days. 🔔 📲
Matt, love your videos but I have to disagree with your first dislike. Coax is so rarely used that's not a big deal. In my humble opinion the biggest dislike is the fact that the trailer coupler isn't an articulating style. Most trailers in this class are setup with a Lock N Roll or similar. You nailed it though with the fridge being optional + way too small.
I bought one of these, and although the trailer hitch head looks traditional it does flex sideways like an articulating hitch.
Hey Matt, Love it and I'm from Denmark. You'll love the country, people and the food..
Matt; I'am thoroughly enjoying your videos and find them very informative. I find my needs are more minimalist these days, are there any plans to review the Bigfoot, Casita and Scamp composite trailers?
Cheers from Toronto
Thank you for commenting if this video does well we will certainly look into more of them
If I was 25 yrs younger, I would love the upper tent option. I really like this little camper.
Because I have sons who do outdoors extreme backpacking and camping in tents in remote areas, I'd say this unit is awesome. The 6-gallon water tank is a really nice perk, the good beds with AC and no bugs and in a safe space are really nice. The frig wouldn't work for most since there usually isn't power where they camp but some sort of Igloo or carry a lithium generator and have the Igloo and generator inside their trunk/truck. Okay...you get the idea. This a cool unit for the diehard camper who pees in the woods.
Barbara, you are right about safety from animals in the woods. Also, ability to charge phones for emergencies without carrying Jackery solar unit.
Solar won't run the A/C either. Lithium battery+inverter is NOT a Generator.

Great review! If it weren't for Matt I wouldn't know about this brand. Very impressive! I am going to send this to my son to check out too.
LOOKS LIKE A LOT OF FUN! LOVE THE OUTDOOR KITCHEN BUT THE FRIDGE IS A MUST!!!
Yes. Go to Denmark!
Great kitchen, love the one piece sink and bench, so easy to clean. Our kids would love the tent, all 3 would fit.
Have a look at the Stockman Rover.
It ticks all the boxes, fridge, swing out bbq, tv, a/c, outdoor shower and the awesome batwing awning.
Love this! So well designed
I just love this thing. I love that it doesn't have a tv. It really looks like it would last as long as my SUV. I gotta get one.
Such a cool little camper.
So amazing!!! Sticker shock but for the quality build. Amazing!!!
I have a feeling you guys are going to Denmark 🇩🇰😀
Well this was a really cool video. I completely enjoyed this because I am part Danish. That being said I would love to see you go to Denmark and do a tour of the factory! 👍😁
Hi Matt love this little thing good video sweetie....
I busted up when you said you weigh 80kg’s. That was great!
Were you laughing at me or with me
I like the little thing.
I like the quality of construction because you can see it’s well built.
I like the tent option up top.
I like that the inside has AC and heat options.
Also bonus like of the Surge brake system.
Dislike I didn’t see any lithium batteries described. It has a panel and says it’s got a battery but what’s the details?
Kinda dislike the diesel heater is an option…maybe should be standard 🤷🏼♂️
Kinda dislike the hitch. Maybe needs a pintle hitch.
Didn’t see mention of a hitch on the camper for a bike rack maybe 🤷🏼♂️
Agree, does it have rear hitch?
Very nice!
A factory tour would be great. Thank you for the video
Yes!! I would love a factory tour!
We actually bought one of these in December 2021. Seems like the communication between the Manufacturer and the dealer was off. We were told by the dealer there was a heater (not just ac) that could run off surepower. There was NOT. Only the European version could run off surepower. After about 2 months of back and forth we had to return the camper. Manufacturer did offer to install the diesel heater, but we did not want to have to haul diesel around with us. Real bummer for us!
What an amazing little trailer! Good for nature lovers and adventurers.
What a awesome towable!! I want to go to Denmark too!
This is an extremely good quality unit with engineering to probably outdo most other Teardrop trailers. 42K is a lot of money and if that was converted to Australian dollars its going to be around 70K which would price it out of our market.. I don't deny the quality as its like the Rolls Royce of Teardrops and and we know what a Rolls Royce costs lol..
What an awesome trailer! 👏🏻🙌🏻
The camper itself is great. The tent is good I would opt for a 180* awning and if it would fit a dometic 12v refrigerator/freezer. Is the A/c 12v or would you have to plug in. This would be an awesome boondocking camper if solar is enough to handle a/c load. Need to talk more about power supply.
I love it! I think you could pull that thing way off road and it’s going to still be in one piece. And I think that’s the idea. It’s durable, convenient, and very easy to pull. Three dislikes: no potty (not even a compostable), no fridge, no TV.
I mean….those are basics for me.
Fantastic camper! The price is a bit much though. I think you and Wil should go to Denmark! Great review as always!
Great video and a great camper!,
Nice very nice. I love the quality build. Made to LAST.
Love to see all the models 👍👍 I’m too old for this model👍
Very cool ‼️. I passed it on to all of my contacts ❤️🇺🇸
how clever, love it.....would love to see a video of it in use and tow...
That is a cool rig. I like the teardrop rooftop combo
Would have loved one when our kids where young . We had owned a pop up that didn’t have the space or versatility this one has.
Hope you get to Denmark Matt!
Looks very well made. Lonnie was very informative. It’s not fair for a non-camper to do a camping commercial when tv’s and food are the primary concerns. The rooftop tent is a neat safety perk.
The quality interests me. Been looking at smail trailers to use locally for music festivals. Should be able to tow this with a 2002 Toyota Sequoia!
That is a fantastic rig.
I do agree with the one dislike being I would want a mini-fridge at least. Would it be ok to buy the fridge at later time? Or is it one of those that must be installed at factory? The other two dislikes do not bother me that much. Overall he did great for being his first time on UA-cam (Lonnie. This would be perfect for my wife, son and I to take to the NC mountains. I do enjoy these videos as I am searching for a camper now to have with our new Pathfinder we just got.
Great camper...I found the kitchen a little lacking, no stove or frig...also would have been nice to know more about the solar system.
Matt, I hope you get to go to Denmark. I was there about 20 years ago and it is my favorite place.
Awesome trailer! Go to Denmark Matt👍
We have a T@b 320 boondock and we loveeeeeeeeeee it BUT let me tell you this camper you guys are showing here is pretty snazy!
I agree every camper should come standard with a fridge.
love your energy
Yes- go to Denmark and show us the factory! The camper looks very well made. I'd like the fridge, an outdoor shower and I'd love for those Danish engineers to have the bed fold in someway to make room for a small "sitting" space!!!! Looking forward to seeing your factory tour :)
Looks really good. Let's see how it's made.
Love seeing this teardrop review. Please go to the factory in Denmark.
For 42k, no 4 P's and was it prepared for a stackable washer and dryer? Lol
I was wondering about the suspension system and how it compared to other, like models. Where's Will when you need him?
Yes do come visit Denmark 👍😎 but do it in the Summer.... 😉
All of these teardrops other than the Bean are just a little to short on the interior height. The upright interior table in a Bean is awesome for those that want to camp and work out of their teardrop or just having the ability to sit without your legs crossed.
Cool trailer and good job to Lonnie
Could you please do a video on Bean Trailers? I'd love to see how it compares to the Ranger!
I like it very much, suggestion of placing a LED light bar on the kitchen overhead. try engineering a 270 degree awning.
Great trailer! Camping, but safe from bears and snakes at night 😜
Love the “treehouse”.
Two questions:
1) Is the kitchen area raccoon and bear proof? When you close it up at night.
I think if there was one of those really good coolers made for that spot would be all that you would need.
2) Does the bed flip up so you could throw your mountain bikes in? Would there be room?
😎😎
1) Kitchen is bear proof. It locks with a key
2) the mattresses can be pulled out or stacked, but we also have an optional bike carrier.
Love it! Go to Denmark and REPRESENT!!!
👍👍Thank you! Thank you!👍👍💙💚💙💚
Super quality. Love the roof rack. But the Little Guy Tab And Tag comes with lots of luxuries at half that price.
Thanks so much for watching… You’ll see that the actual sale price is very competitive to the little guy
The tab or tag weren’t half at last year’s RV show in Pennsylvania, they were 40K all day ! I don’t care who makes it , I’m not paying 40K for so little.
@@kimdagnillo8246, the pricing on all RV’s has gotten ridiculous. I paid 10k for my Tag, with a full tent room, tv, awesome stereo, refrigerator/freezer, honestly it was awesome. And I tricked it out and sold it for what I had in it when I had some medical issues.
Though I will say that the solar panel on this new teardrop is very cool and a great improvement.
northern countries are known to be premium builders, the cars, the trailers, the campers and the boats they make are usually high quality and have very very good insulation, you can never go wrong with something you buy from them if it's new, for second hand campers or boats it's usually better to buy from southern countries because they have sunny weather and everything last longer( but on a build from those countries you don't have good insulation for the same reason), if you buy second hand it's better to buy a scandinavian/german build from a italian/greek/spanish,etc seller
I would love to see some reviews of Australian and South African off road campers like bruder or Kimberley caravan if you ever get a chance.
Yes yes yes okay wow yep I love it I love it 😀 😂😂😂😂 your energy is awesome your really selling thus rv to me!!!!
Looks amazing. How will it hold up to African off-road conditions?. e.g. ground clearance, suspension, frame torsion resistance.
Hi Simon! Dang, I forgot to mention...Torsion suspension, no axel, high ground clearance. @MattsRV Reviews Towables, we need to re-do the video.
@@loharp thank you so much. All the best.
Oh boy we’re going to Demark !
Curly Howard
Yes, great video, go to Denmark! But honestly can’t see what you get for the 42000 when you can just have a tent!!!
Again sale price gonna be a lot less expensive
"Where's the tv mount?" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Wanna see Matt do a bathroom review of the outdoor byo potty bucket!
Go to Denmark 🇩🇰 looks strong, like the smart fender design! Needs a fridge.
Great looking tear drop for getting outdoors in Mother Nature. Noticed they sell for just under 24k us or 22k euro. So between a few ad ons, no refrigerator shipping and importing it doubles in price minus the sale price 🤔.
So would this still be a good value in the lower 30k or possible mid 35k range? Just look at the overlander expos to see the crazy prices on anything stamped overlander or boondocking.
Well done to Hero Campers for building a quality camper. These past couple of years has really been unique. So I'm sure for some it will still feel overpriced and others it will seem acceptable.
I'm thinking of purchasing a new one for $19.9K. Opinion on it at that price? $23K out the door after tax.
What is there might be the best quality but I don't like: the Kitchen, the inside, the tent, the awning, the price - $42K or even $32K sale price for basically an empty box. just for comparison - I can but an awesome fifth wheel for $80K with 10X the amenities
Where do you put the port-a+ potty?
I'm a fan of roof top tents on all the smaller class RV styles. Besides giving the extra room u catch that night cool breeze much easier. Solar is awesome but camping in the forest u won't get the rays u need to power AC.
Being a solo female overlander my only issue w rooftop tents on teardrops is the ladders. I need one that's my Rottie can climb & so far I haven't found any after market that'll work.
The prices on RV is crazy high. Although I can see spending more on the ranger.
Matt- u need to start commenting on basic warranties on the dogs in your videos. With prices climbing every month manufactures should be increasing their warranties. If their product is as good as they claim adding length to the term won't cost them
Lost me at MSRP. Didn’t like the aluminum doors on the interior cabinets. Seemed like they didn’t open far. Love the Bean teardrop and the Camp Inn teardrop, would love to see Matt review one of them.
Brilliant.
I don't particularly appreciate having the kitchen outside. What if it rains for 3 days straight (typical in many locales)? 8 gallons of water is much too low for campers. Where will we put the CPAP machine?
I sent this video to a buddy looking for a tear drop. Great video
Thanks we have a couple of these in the high 20 sale price right now
Really nice trailer
I love this thing❣️👍🏻🤩
Love it
Show us the factory Matt. This is a cool little camper.
I like it
Thanks so much Tim
I like the hand brake
Great brake systems
1) I need a bathroom. 2) I need a fridge. That said, I love the style and the engineering that went into this trailer!
Cool!
