Interesting to see how IO seemed to love Kane and Lynch by putting them in here at all at such a length and having the original voice actors even reprise their roles! Guess it shows how much they loved those games deep down, would love to see a 3rd.

Fanbase was a disaster w/ alot of dislikes to Kane & Lynch (Casually because players die alot in the second game)

Anyone notice the models of both Kane and Lynch? Kane has his Dead Men model while Lynch has his Dog Days model.
Lynch's head model was also from Dead Men.
Technologically,IOI had already remade Kane & Lynch models with new Glacier engine.

@@jam1531Lynch's Deadmen & Dog Days head models are entirely different, I've worked on both characters and ported them into different games.
Kane is voiced by Brian Bloom and Lynch is voiced by Jarion Monroe.
But Absolution's Kane is not voiced by Brian Bloom .
Man I love one of those in-game moments where the universes of 2 different games collide.

Agreed. The newspaper covering their escape is actually right after the first BM mission (later in the game there´s one saying that the manhunt for them has been cancelled). Their appearance in Absolution is anachronistic in more ways - they were in prison in California, didn´t know each other before the actual escape, plus Kane has the appearance from Dead Men (suit + freshly broken nose) while Lynch from Dog Days (different glasses + clothing). I guess it´s just a nice reference :-)
i found kane when i first reached the mission where he was writing the letter, i realized it was him when he said "your father, kane"
I've felt bad for them never find peace and always have fight for survival that would make for a great 3rd game show how constant fighting eventually gets to them and wears them down and they try to just find a way to end the fighting

Funny that part with Lynch. That letter Kane's writing is from the intro of the first Kane & Lynch isn't it? very dark and sad that. I'm one of very phew that likes Kane & Lynch, 2nd game was a lot better for gameplay but no music by Jesper Kyd which is very disappointin'.

They can't make a Kane and Lynch 3. They lost the rights to it, and the company that has the rights to Kane and Lynch probably don't even know about it and wouldn't be interested in a sequel.
Aactually it happens after Kain and 'Lynch 1 and 2 but in hit man blood money you can find a magasen about their escape from the prison bus
@@michelletubbspatkins4614 The easter egg scene in Absolution in which Kane is writing the letter to Jenny takes place before K&L 1. His monologue doesn't even make sense in the context of post K&L 1.

Hey, wait... In "Blood Money" we could read in the newspaper about the escape of Kane&Lybch form the prison truck, then about something like "police stops looking for escaped prisoners", which means, that the events of "Blood Money" and "Kane&Lycnh" keep stepping with each other, and now in the "Absolution" we find Kane in prison writing the letter to his daughter, which means that the events of "Kane&Lynch" have even not happened yet... TIME PARADOX!
when i first saw this i was so shocked, then i went to youtube and searched this easter egg,then i was right that this was kane and lynch
Theres another one missing, don't remember in which mission, but there is a nuclear bomb hanging by the ceiling, if you shoot it there is a blast a you can see lynch
So, canonically speaking, Hitman Absolution takes place right before the events of Kane & Lynch Dead Men?
Hard to tell, they seem to have completely screwed the timeline. Originally, it was meant to take place around the time of Blood Money, or at least the Swing King mission. Now however, it takes place around Absolution, and also seems to show Kane and Lynch as having known each other before Kane broke out of jail, which if you've played Dead Men, you know is incorrect.
Doctor Bane Dude Its COMPLETELY FUCKED. Like, you first see Kane all sharp dressed before the mission with the jail and letter thing, wich makes NO SENSE knowing he spent time on prison. Also Lynch is using his Dog Days outfit wich makes no sense either. Never in my life I loved and hated so much an easter egg.

Kanes escape from prison is mentioned in blood money
That's impossible, at some pointin the second half of the Hitman Blood Money's storyline you get a newspaper where it's said that Kane and Lynch break out of prison. That means that Kane and Lynch storyline starts closer to the end of the Hitman Blood Money's storyline.
*SPOILER* D. dies in Hitman Absolution and she's alive and well in Hitman Blood Money and even saves Agent 47 in the end. It appears that Hitman Absolution should be parallel to Kane and Lynch 2 storyline.
Poor Lynch was just tryna have some fun at the range.. now you got him sitting on the sofa alone thinking about how he killed his wife.

Dude, you missed at least 1 K&L easter egg. Check the "nuke" easter egg, Lynch is chilling there in that cutscene.
I think this was a hint of a new Kane and Lynch game but I guess it didn't happen.

All these Easter eggs are awesome especially this and the Loch Ness Monster one but for this one why the hell would he put his gnomes ON A SHOOTING RANGE ANYWAY haha :) respect sir.
Well, that's the reason we said Kane and Lynch should not be in Hitman Absolution. I mean, shouldn't these two plots be parallel? I mean look at Kane - freshly broken nose. And Lynch? He has exactly the same appearance as in Kane and Lynch 2.

(My theory may not be correct)it looks like Kane dies at the end it does not start the first Kane and lynch game.at the start of Kane and Lynch they meet for the first time but before in absolution you see Kane writing the letter Kane and Lynch are together.so that probably means Kane says his final goodbyes and Lynch’s where about are forever unknown

In the courthouse mission, you can hear Kane writing a letter to his daughter Jenny when he is in his cell
well, the first time i played Hitman absolution, i didint know about Kane and Lynch, in fact, i dont know why, but i thought that Kane was an older agent 47 hiding from the agency (i was 12 years old) and i kinda feel intimidated by him and didint kill him or something, and i also thought that Lynch was some crazy guy that was there only for the joke of the cray man.
who would have thought that i was in front of two great characters (and 4 years later i played Kane and Lynch with my best friend)

They're each character's iconic looks. Kane looks fugly in 2 and Lynch looks like a pedophile in 1.

It's just like Marvel or DC universe . Kane & Lynch has a differen life in Hitman universe . They break out of prison in 2006 (Hitman Blood Money). But Kane & Lynch Dead Men event was happened in 2007. Also, Lynch is called "Mr. Little" in Hitman universe.(note the newspaper) Wish IO can make a "Kane & Lynch universe" version Agent 47 .

theres another easteregg. in the mission were you enter the main building of dexter industries, theres a bomb hanging down over the lobby desk. shoot this bomb and enjoy a funny cutscene

Location does matter because Kane and Lynch can't be at the US and in Shanghai at the same time Kane and Lynch 2 starts in Shanghai and ends at the airport IN shanghai.

That review from Jeff g during his time at gamespot hurt the game more and made controversy apart of its legacy. What a shame they’re great games and they’re still fun to play in 2024

mmm well i think this absolution should be more tied to kane and lynch than blood money since u get to see em here then in blood money all u get s a news paper and even in the prison part u see kane writing the letter to his daighter which is the beggining from kane and lynch. but idk this is just all mixed up i dont think it has anything to do with kane and lynch since in the first one lynch uses some bigass contact glasses and in dog days he uses the sunglasses he has on in the video so idk
