Men im from COLOMBIA, looking at your videos for few months ago... You are the BAD ASS of organization Brother. To be honest, im watching all types of videos arround here about music manage, but nothing like your collection, you are as we call it arround here, la mondá ! Saludos! N Cheers Fella.
I bought MLT, I must say so useful, had almost no problem getting through 8000 songs and getting a lot of genre and year. I cannot recommend this enough but to any DJ, BACK UP YOUR MUSIC, I have had 2 full losses of libraries because I had a laptop break and a hard drive die. rebuilding before a gig is the most stressful! Hope this helps hahahaha
I think I know the answer to this but will your tool find the original song date or if I have it from a 2015 compilation will it use that date(I am sure it will) or will it pick the actual track date of 1999
So if you already have several folders is it okay to go ahead and add those folders into the One Mian folder? I always hear that some computers and DJ software can have troubles finding files if there's too many characters. I don't know how true that is but sometimes I have a hard time finding my files on my windows and my Mac Book Pro.
Is there a way, whether it be via smart crates or the MLT tool, to create a crate of clean versions of songs from an already existing crate that contains the explicit versions of them? For example, I have a rap crate with sub crates (broken down by energy and decade) that have the dirty versions. The "All" folder (at the top in Serato) of my Serato, contains the clean versions of these songs (as well as the dirty versions). I need Serato to match the songs in the rap crate from the "All" folder, pull the clean versions of them, and create a crate of just that- the clean versions.
Me too... I just do it little by little. Pace yourself and make a realistic plan to organize. For instance do one genes per week or whatever, and hold yourself accountable. Don't stress and try to do it all at once.

Where is the information about the MLT tool? I don't see it anywhere.

How do you differ tracks that you categorize as warm-up and opening?
Good Job!!
Hey, The MLT is sold out?
Or is it just a bug?
i tried to look more into MLT but all the links are broken
Will your tool work with wav?
Do you have time have a macbook?
Question...as a new DJ do I need two versions of music? Radio/Edited version and Explicit version?
If you at a family friendly event, then yes
"i wish i knewwwwww" Steve Lacey lol
When you're a DJ that takes requests like I do then you have to download more songs than you need
MP3 320 or aiff?
Mp3
@@Iamdjtrigga I read somewhere aiff preserves more metadata or some shit like that
Flac.
@@derzw3rg .aiff is better for metadata
