The Rogue Echo Bike is the most popular air bike on the market, even more so than the Assault Air Bike or Schwinn Airdyne. I've had the bike for 2 years, have used it in my garage, personal training studio, and at friends' houses. After all that use, this is what it looks and performs like today...

Had mine for 2 years and use it regularly. Warmup with it, do sprint intervals, long rides, sauna suit rides, and it still works great. I highly recommend it.
Do u notice any results
Does it give you a good physique?? In terms of losing belly fat and toned arms and legs??
Cool now I don't have to sit through this whole video he could just said yes it's worth it go through the pros and cons and that would have been it Guy really needs to work on getting to the point
You can’t tell how difficult this machine without trying it out.. just got one today and figured it wouldn’t be hard after seeing everyone on UA-cam rack up some insane numbers on it, but it was one of the most humbling experiences I’ve had.. it’s brutal, very tough, and definitely worth it
I have had an air bike for three days, as I am a bit overweight from the lockdown etc, you burn 100 calories in like 9 minutes!! It is really really good! Just going to take it easy for a few weeks and not go OTT, hopefully should lose a bit of weight doing 10 or 20’minutes a day on this thing
I just got mine to help me recover from my spine injury I tried doing some sprint intervals I did two short 30 odd second ones I was blowing out of my ass , I've got a hell of a long way to go!!!!!
“I’m not necessarily a power lifter, I just don’t do any cardio.” Words to live by from Coop.
vibe
This probably has more to do with why the bike is still running like new after 2 years than any other factor.
He doesn't look like a power lifter or a body builder
@@johnnnoise I wanna see his 800lb squat on YT
Meanwhile there is a $5,000 treadmill in the background.
This is amazing content! Everyone who tried crossfit wants an airbike in their homes, and everyone has to choose between Assault Classic and Rouge Echo, and everyone has the same question "Does the belt system hold after 1-2 years?". You, sir, just answered all these questions and cleared all concerns! Thank you so much!
I literally bought the Echo Bike because of you Coop, I used it constantly in my garage, never done a single maintenance other than wiping it down after each use. Love it... thanks Coop for the review...
Getting a like for the intro alone!!! Strong work.
Thanks for the update Coop! I just purchased one today on the last day of MBF!
A great update on the Echo bike! I checked out your review last year between the echo bike and the assault bike and so glad that I did! I had an assault bike on order and cancelled it based on your review . I am in the UK and I bought the echo bike from Rogue Europe in the Black Friday sale! Best piece of kit that I have and would agree with you 100% about the quality!!
If anyone is considering buying one - do not hesitate and get on the sale price - you will not regret it! I have just trimmed 20 lbs in 4 months with conditioning work on it.
Mike Grant out of interest....do you remember the Black Friday price you paid Rogue Europe? Thinking of buying now or waiting for a sale. Cheers
Same question what price did you pay on Black Friday
@@Anderson9448 Hi, I think worked out around £750 GBP but I understand that Rogue are not doing the same sort of sale for Black Friday due to this years disruption with Covid 19. Good luck and still worth the money at full price 👍
I’d love for more of these long-term reviews!
I like them as well. Pretty helpful me thinks.
Coop, I am hooked to watching your channel. I love your passion and knowledge. Thanks for putting out a great program! Keep up the great work that you do. You are the man!!! = )
Loved the retro intro! Heck, I wanna see you do a review of your Ridgeline. 😆 Always wanted that truck. I'm in the market!
Great update Coop.
Only just got mine a month ago in AUS, like most people I LOVE and hate the Rogue Assault bike. Great to hear it is still running well after 2 years.
I’m looking to add an AirBike to my garage gym! Thanks for your review
Purchased the bike about two years ago and still love it. I was an avid mountain biker for years but don’t have the same amount of time nowadays so the rogue echo is a decent trade off. Swapped out the pedals with clip-ins and put a normal mtb seat on it as well. Appreciate the video and it confirmed for me that I made a good purchase
Ordered mine on May 9th and just got the confirmation it’s going to be delivered May 19th! I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve - cannot wait!
I've had my Echo for a year and it is a beast!! Best cardio workout you could ever get.
Sweet 80's montage at the beginning.
I love the Echo Bike. Used both the Assault and Echo in my CF box. I stopped going to build my garage gym, and went with the Echo Bike. Just arrived last week (Great November Rogue deal on that shipping!) and I couldn’t be happier.
Thanks for the review. enjoy the humour. i just ordered this bad boy along with some kettle balls. cant wait!
Love the new music!!
Just purchased!!!!!! 😁😁😁😁 So excited basically told all my friends thank you for amazing reviews coop
LOVE that curl in me banner! I want to get an echo bike when I move.
So tempting.
Thanks for the review. Master of his craft.
Thanks, Coop. I've been wanting one of these. No gym around me has one. Come to think of it, no gym in different parts of the state I've been to since the release has had one. I really want to ride one first before investing in one. Everything i've read and the handful of vidoeos I've seen all give this a lot of props.
Brought an Echo Bike 12 months ago. The thing is awesome. Use it all the time. Love it better than a rowing machine.
Been eyeing this for awhile now, and I finally pulled the trigger on ordering it. It's on the way, I'm excited and pretty scared. Thanks for the update!
How's it going? Are you pleased with your purchase?
Kalila Valezina Definitely! The thing is a tank and incredibly smooth. Very solid addition to the home gym. Use it for morning cardio and a bit of interval work
@@TheScotttP Cool! Thank you. x
@@TheScotttP can you do steady state cardio on it 30 minutes ?
@@bossqueen100 You do steady state, as the belt driven system is really smooth. Don’t get me wrong, it’s boring. I usually put on a bit of music, or turn on a movie with headphones (wind noise). I’ve been enjoying a minute on minute off until you reach 450 cals. Do it almost every morning.
I'm watching this video for a second time as I'm probably buying an Echo today and the intro is still supreme
Best intro ever
Was able to pick one up on Rogue miraculously last week. I am on the waiting list for a Bikeerg and new Rower from Concept2. Those will be delivered next month. Changing my workout routines to more of a low impact routine. 16+ years in FA for the Army so I have to start looking out for long term. This is something I enjoy. I was using an Assault bike but they are are not well put together at all. Thanks for the vid and keep up the reviews.
Really convinced me to go for this model after watching this review ( as well as the original one from two years back)....unfortunately delivery to Malta costs almost as much as the bike itself.
Thanks Coop, sold my assault bike last month now you just have convinced me to order this bad boy!
I have had my Echo for just over a year. I use it regularly and it is a great piece of equipment. Built tough plus a great workout..
Do u used any results
Thanks for the great review, and the humor!
Very happy with it so far 🙌
More of these reviews please..
On my short list of things to buy
Brandon Campbell Diamond I thought you had one or was that the Assault air bike that you had in your old gym?
@@mweisser1 your " i bought a rogue echo bike and now im selling it" is recommended in this video haha..
Had mine also about 2+ years...it's a beast and love it!
Great review for those familiar with these types of bikes. You make one confident in tbe build, quality and value of it. Those not familiar with them, such as myself shoukd definitely make sure they're aware of the key purposes and diffences berween the various styles of exercise bikes. I've never done HIIT on a bike but I have been looking to get away from the high impact and perhaps danger of doing them on a treadmill so the Echo looks like a great alternative.
Just ordered mine. About 30 bucks off but it also had free shipping. Super excited
Most I’ve done in one session on this is 56 mile. The thing transforms your cardio. Got to say cheers as I used your original review amongst others when looking to buy a new airdyne. Fantastic piece of equipment
How long did 56 miles take???
Robert Delorme just under 3hours, I tend to average around 20 an hour when Im just plodding watching netflix or what have ya
Well-done, helpful review.
I love the air bikes I bought a inspire air bike like 6+ years ago still works good and perfectly
Hey man I been watching a few of your vids lately. Do you have a list o f exercise bikes you recommend? I got one of amazon a few weeks back but it broke after about 4 uses. I am looking for a solid one so any suggested would be greatly appreciated.
I'm here from JRE , think this is my next buy. Liked the video soo much I subbed 👍.
You’re good bro I like hearing your comments
“I think it’s 128lbs, don’t quote me.” - Coop.
this comment is massively underrated lol
I checked. Listed at 127lbs 😂
Thanks for content!
Coop, I bought this bike because of your review. Thanks buddy. What do you use to keep the seat clean?
Hi Coop, I like your review. Based on your review, the echo bike sounds like a better bike than airdyne pro. You mentioned a lot of people comes to your garage to use your echo or airdyne pro. Does a 5’ tall female would have problems with echo pedals and handle size? Is the airdyne pro better for 5’ female?
I have the Airdyne AD7 and I love it ! Tried an Assault Bike at the gym and the Airdyne is WAY ahead. Never had the opportunity to try the Echo Bike.
Marc Martineau What were the differences between the AD7 and the Assault Bike?
Well the smoothness of the gear and handles with how quiet it is compared to the Assault Bike. Airdyne uses a belt while the Assault is chain driven. Makes a big difference. Built quality also ; better on the Airdyne. I also find that the posItion on the seat is more ergonomic and comfortable on the Airdyne.
Nike shoes and adidas pants. Why? Because sale prices are convenient people and it only matters if you are sponsored or a celebrity. I’m proud of this guy, he’s real.
I get weird looks or questions when I wear nike gym clothing and adidas shoes, and when asked why? Nike has better gym clothes but I prefer adidas shoes!
Great review! Any chance of a long term review of the Bike Erg?
Love the intro m8 🤙🏻
I love/hate my echo. It's hard work!
Probably one of the best, if not THE best piece of equipment I have purchased. Going on 2 years as well.
Would you say this is essential if you wanted to drop weight fast?
I've had my Echo Bike for 2 months. I use it a couple times a week and really like it. It was packaged beautifully and was super easy to assemble. With just my family using it I imagine it will be around the rest of my life at least.
I dont know what that intro was but I loved it
Hey man, great review, thanks!
Could you help me out with a measurement please? Horizontal distance from the front tip of the flywheel cage to the rear of the seat runner? Thanks!
Dope intro!
2:00 in. And your sign says "does Coop even lift" Love it.
"3 more years of quarantine hun, And it will look like I lift."
Hey I like the echo and the airdyne pro. Is the Echo significantly bigger lengthwise? End of seat to front of cage?
Man, scan lines on full res video hurrrtttss the eyes. Still, dedication to the 80's theme - take my like.
We recently purchased a Echo Bike while it was on sale for Rogue’s Black November. Our main complaint is that it’s really hard and makes us really tired. The human body is not made to perform 8 intervals of 10/20. That’s almost 5 minutes of work!
what
Now I want one even more! If you could get some deals for Europe, especially Germany I would rip one right out your hands
do you remember what the regular price was and what you got it for? debating on buying off market place, about $150 less, or waiting another 6 months and going with black November deal. thanks!
How about now bud
@@thade6130 still too hard!
Coop, in Canada right now the Echo is $1,200 with free shipping but the Airdyne AD7 is $880 with free shipping from Amazon and best buy. At that price would you still choose the echo or would you go with the AD7 for a home gym? Thanks
Hey Coop. Titan has just announced their bike. And I ordered it for $630. But then I realized it uses chain drive. Can you please do a review on it. Maybe you have received it a little earlier than the rest of us 😉
I'm about 2 years in with my echo bike and it is still as solid as day 1 with no maintenance required. Adding the phone holder, water bottle cage, and the wind guard were game changers.
I'd love the wind guard. This bad boy sucks in the winter.
what bottle cage did you use?
Used to love when someone got on one of these in the school gym. Better than aircon
Hilarious! 👍🏾👊🏾✌🏾🇳🇬🇺🇸
If you have the time, would you mind making a video touching on garage gym wall clocks / timers? I noticed the fancy clock in the background and we've been looking for something to fit out needs.
Yeah, great idea!
Any thoughts on arm heights for taller people? Seems like they should be adjustable, like the seat. Tall folks are moving the arms back and forth almost to their hip crease. Seems much lower than say the path of a punch or a press movement. Is that ergonomically correct?
Love this bike!!!! Game changer for your cardio and hiit training. If anyone is having trouble with wobbly arms make sure the arm is tapped nicely against the set screw before you tighten it. I also took two big washers and screwed the foot pegs right up against the arms, the foot pegs don't spin anymore (no biggie) and the arms are solid as hell. Let me know if you need a pic to see what I am talking about.
Hey Robert. I just got the echo bike (2nd hand) at first my arms were a bit lose. I've tightened them up now. But I'm interested in keeping them as right as possible. Cheers
Pic please! I like no spin better:) Thanks
I recently started using one at the gym, trying to get my cardio back after COVID.
Have you tried the airdyne x? I’d say it competes with the echo bike...definitely an upgrade over the assault bike...but does have a high price tag
Great videos Coop. Looking for info on the Cascade Air Bike Unlimited Mag.
Dope intro 👍
Love my echo bike. Use it twice a week and it still works great.
Got one, love it!!!!!
a couple of questions: 1) does the rogue accommodate smaller individuals (like 5'5" and under) and 2) regarding the belt drive, is this belt proprietary to Rogue or could one use an after market (i.e. automotive) belt? I am sure the belt will last a good long while but it would be good to know how easily a replacement can be obtained. Great review and thanks!
My mom 5ft says the seat agitates her crotch. Maybe just a new seat is needed?
Loved the music intro
Rubber belts do not last longer. Not in vehicles or anything else. They are quieter, easier to replace, cheaper to produce and have less to maintain in a open air system that isn't receiving constant lubrication like in your vehicle. But make no mistake, rubber will never last as long as steel.
love the intro
Was shopping around. But, defo going to buy the the ECHO bike now.
Like to see you compare it to a NordiTrack "incline trainer". They serve the same purpose. For the home gym owner who doesn't want to go outside for a bike ride. It's still one of those pieces of equipment we don't really need but some of us buy one...because we can and bought into the home/garage gym culture.
The NordiTrack "incline trainers" as the name describes "inclines" (and declines). The x11/x22/x32 can incline up to 40 degrees and decline -6 degrees. I'd think they would offer a better indoor cardio workout...if we hd that extra few grand to burn (vs. going outside for a jog/sprint or bike ride).
Is this a bike that can be used for 30 minutes straight at a steady pace? I like the total body workout aspect and I am trying to decide between this or a peloton.
Super out of shape, and just ordered one. I'll try to remember to come back to let you know what I think. I suspect I'll be a few pounds lighter and hate the thing.
You got this!
6:20 is what you came for. Looking like a damn slo-mo photo shoot.
thanks dude, this video is such a crap
Love the Echo bike, no issues other than tightening the seat sometimes. It’s solid though.
Yeah, same...
Hi,
thanks for the review.
is the rogue ok for someone that is 5 feets 3 inches ?
Is it fine to leave it outside (in a balcony or garden) or should it be inside ?
Thanks and regards.
Had my Echo Bike for a month and I love it.
Coop what do you think of the echo bike vs the bowflex max trainer. Both incorporate interval training and utilize upper and lower body workout. Your thoughts?
Hi bro thx for the review ! I'd like to know which air bike is the most quiet for an appartment use ?
I am 6’1, 255lbs. This bike is built super tough. I do sprints in it and I haven’t been able to wreck it. I am hard on equipment. I have friends come use it. They hate it.
Have you used the Tornado bike from Sunny fitness? Just grabbed one from fb for $200 from a guy who got it in an auction lot at a storage unit. Pretty solid bike so far. Wondered your thoughts on it if you were familiar with it.
What are your thoughts on this versus the Titan fan bike? Titan is much cheaper, but is it worth the extra $100+ to just get the Rogue?
So black Friday sale the Rogue echo and Xebex AirPlus Expert Bike is very similar in price. Which would you recommend?
Just brought mine today I actually emailed them yesterday and they got back to me 8 hours later saying they will be in stock! No kidding for 6 hours straight I was refreshing the site non stop. Finally afternoon came and paid to have it delivered within 3 days.....all stock was sold out under an hour
Sad part was the notification to my email did not alert me so lucky I had emailed earlier and just constantly checked the site all day. That’s how bad I wanted the echo🤷🏽♂️
Is the wind guard necessary? Thanks for this review.
Coop! We need a breakdown of the three Bamboo Bars that are sold by Rogue! Can you make that happen? Thanks and keep up the great work!
Yep, good idea. Love my Bamboo Bar.
So it sat in different garages unused for two years and still works !!!! Amazing piece of equipment
Apparently you didn’t pay attention.
@@jasonandersen5975 yeah ok
So you and 30 people that up voted your comment are too lazy to watch 4 minutes of a video. Coop explains the bike has been in his actual gym for the past year, being used daily including CrossFit competitions. You're attention span is so poor I'm surprised you sat still long enough to write one and half sentences.
@@Periodik what ? you mad bro ?
This bike sounds so tough! 😍
i just bought a schwinn airdyne pro. had the old airdynes over the years. i like the new pro bike but not real crazy about the monitor! The heart rate doesn't work with the polar chest straps including the new h10 strap :( poor design). So i have been thinking of returning it. So my question is i am 5'6" and is there any issues with reach to the bars as compared to the schwinn pro with the double handles for your hands???
