@@chibichan9586 a character from a danmei (BL) novel named Mo Dao Zu Shi there is an animation, manhua & audio drama & there is also a live action drama for it called The Untamed. But keep in mind that the adaptations are highly censored from the gay stuff bc of the chinese goverment. The audio drama & the manhua are the only one that got away with a lot of things (kissing etc). In the other adaptations the relationship between the MC are just hinted but you will kinda feel that they're more than friends. If you interested i would recommend to read the novel since its the original source material & there is no censorship not to mention how good its written🕴
I honestly loved this drama so much I feel like often with BL they tend to go overdramatic and dark and of course in some situations this is realistic to life but I enjoyed how simple yet interesting this storyline was it was realistic but not overly dramatic to the point where I dont want to continue and I loved the happy ending for all the characters this again doesn't happen very often in BL dramas and I really appreciated it I will deffinatly re watch it♡
I've rewatched the series for 3 times already and still the excitement is the same as the first time I've watched it. And yeah you hit the point. This series is very simple, no mind bending plot, no extreme and hardcore scenes, etc etc. But its simplicity actually made the series so good. It's very addicting
