Everything in the MV and concept photos is related to the oceans and everything is so cohesive and put together. From the make-up to the clothes, jewelry, hair and props, it all ties together. All the spherical elements (pearls all around, moon, water bowl, water bubbles), the shells, water ripples, blue colors. I LOVE THIS! ACE are concept kings and I love the execution and idea of male sirens.
Even if we don’t get a win this comeback please know that a.c.e and choice won first place a long time ago. I love how ACE interprets everything as dream. Even in buildup episode Donghun asked the team members to interpret as a dream you wished to never wake up from.❤❤❤
If anyone's interested in a theory: A.C.E are basically mermen who live under water, where most of the MV takes place. But one day, they saw a person above the surface, represented by the moon, and fell in love at first sight. The song and MV deals with their longing for this person and them going "Higher" and eventually above this surface in order to see this person again. They reach the above/the surface during the last chorus, where they are depicted dancing in nature. Before this, they were trapped under water which was, among other things, portrayed by them fighting under veils in the MV. But since they had already fallen in love with "the moon", best portrayed by Chan swallowing it while insinuating that love is like a drug and vital for survival, they can now not live in its absence. The absence of the moon under water is represented by the solar eclipse. Overall, we might say that the moon in the MV represents choice - and no matter what or who will stop them, A.C.E want to reach us and our hearts with their music. A.C.E x Choice are fated to be forever☆

I'm here after watching build up...the number of views makes me a little sad. The song is good and the mv is so pretty, it deserves more. Donghun looks so beautiful! Delicate and intense at the same time, a little surprise compared to his gentle ballad singer image from build up. His voice sounds very different too, I thought he naturally had a deeper voice but the fact he sang like that on purpose makes him even more impressive. Ah I really think I fell for him...

He is a great dancer as well. You might be shock knowing that he didn't have any dancing background before joining A.C.E ..He was a vocal teacher for school students before joining A.C.E. He had to skip 2 years of singing lesson to focus mainly on dancing so that he would be at par with the rest of A.C.E members who have dancing background. Same. Ive been captivated by Donghun in build up and started binge watching ACE. The more you get to know Donghun, the more respect you’ll have for the guy. His love for music is so sincere and genuine. He is not a dancer in this group (actually the only non dancer title, right?), but yet look at him. It shows how much effort he must have put in. Now he’s got his own sexy swag in his moves. Very mesmerizing. I’m absolutely in love with everything Donghun. It doesn’t hurt that the other 4 members are also so talented and hilarious dorks. I love them.
Oh one more thing.. I’m also not really into hard hitting overwhelming idol music So I started out with cover songs, then started watching their MVs, dance practices, and buskings. It’s really surprising that I actually like most of their songs, if not all, even the ones I normally won’t listen to. They also have less hard hitting songs which I absolutely love. @@MagicCritical naww the one with bigger company wins because rn there are sooo many groups out there that people only pay attention to big companies... about those groups that make it big despite not having a big company backing them, they must at least be able to afford good MV quality, have good song and visuals, lots of talent and lastly get lucky af. If a 4th/5th generation group from a no name company doesn't blow up almost right after debut, they likely never will unless they get A LOT of exposure, e.g. in survival shows like rtk or if one member is casted leading role in a drama that becomes rly popular. This is why I believe A.C.E hasn't blown up yet despite abundant potential (and I STILL blame yg for not debuting mixnine group I am still not okay with this, this could have been THAT exposure)

A.C.E is probably the only group that is able to set up extremely high expectations, then not only deliver, but completely exceed the expectations. for me, atleast.
I do not care much about the numbers and the popularity. As long as I know I am following not only a talented group but artists who are genuinely passionate in what they do and really care about their fans. It was my best choice to become a Choice. Such a warm and tight-knit fandom with almost zero drama and negativity. My only regret is that I didn't follow them sooner. I know for a fact that if the this MV does not get a single win, the K-pop industry is a lie. This song is so amazing and meaningful. A.C.E has always worked so hard since there from a smaller company and they're "Beats interactive entertainments" first group, and cause of that, they never had any senior groups that could've helped promote them as a rookie boy band. That's why they had to work 10 times harder. What they are today is because of there own hard work. Stan A.C.E. don't sleep on them.

If anyone's interested in a theory:
A.C.E are basically mermen who live under water, where most of the MV takes place. But one day, they saw a person above the surface, represented by the moon, and fell in love at first sight. The song and MV deals with their longing for this person and them going "Higher" and eventually above this surface in order to see this person again.
They reach the above/the surface during the last chorus, where they are depicted dancing in nature.
Before this, they were trapped under water which was, among other things, portrayed by them fighting under veils in the MV. But since they had already fallen in love with "the moon", best portrayed by Chan swallowing it while insinuating that love is like a drug and vital for survival, they can now not live in its absence. The absence of the moon under water is represented by the solar eclipse.
Overall, we might say that the moon in the MV represents choice - and no matter what or who will stop them, A.C.E want to reach us and our hearts with their music. A.C.E x Choice are fated to be forever☆

I'm here after watching build up...the number of views makes me a little sad. The song is good and the mv is so pretty, it deserves more. Donghun looks so beautiful! Delicate and intense at the same time, a little surprise compared to his gentle ballad singer image from build up. His voice sounds very different too, I thought he naturally had a deeper voice but the fact he sang like that on purpose makes him even more impressive. Ah I really think I fell for him...
Just want you to know that your comment makes me so happy..Donghun is my ult bias and A.C.E is the only kpop group that I stan. I hope you'd check out more of their MV's and covers. They had done lots of dance covers and vocal covers as well. Their original songs are great too. And yes, Donghun is a very versatile vocalist who has wide range of vocal. He is a great dancer as well. You might be shock knowing that he didn't have any dancing background before joining A.C.E ..He was a vocal teacher for school students before joining A.C.E. He had to skip 2 years of singing lesson to focus mainly on dancing so that he would be at par with the rest of A.C.E members who have dancing background. Please do check out more A.C.E videos and I hope you'd love this group as well. Believe me, the more yoy know Donghun, the deeper you'd fall for his charms. He had penned and composed lots of songs as well.

It's hard for me to believe that such a talented group gets so little attention.
Same. Ive been captivated by Donghun in build up and started binge watching ACE. The more you get to know Donghun, the more respect you’ll have for the guy. His love for music is so sincere and genuine. He is not a dancer in this group (actually the only non dancer title, right?), but yet look at him. It shows how much effort he must have put in. Now he’s got his own sexy swag in his moves. Very mesmerizing. I’m absolutely in love with everything Donghun. It doesn’t hurt that the other 4 members are also so talented and hilarious dorks. I love them.
Oh one more thing.. I’m also not really into hard hitting overwhelming idol music So I started out with cover songs, then started watching their MVs, dance practices, and buskings. It’s really surprising that I actually like most of their songs, if not all, even the ones I normally won’t listen to. They also have less hard hitting songs which I absolutely love. If a 4th/5th generation group from a no name company doesn't blow up almost right after debut, they likely never will unless they get A LOT of exposure, e.g. in survival shows like rtk or if one member is casted leading role in a drama that becomes rly popular.
This is why I believe A.C.E hasn't blown up yet despite abundant potential (and I STILL blame yg for not debuting mixnine group I am still not okay with this, this could have been THAT exposure)

This MV is one of the most aesthetically pleasing MVs in the world.
I do not care much about the numbers and the popularity. As long as I know I am following not only a talented group but artists who are genuinely passionate in what they do and really care about their fans. It was my best choice to become a Choice. Such a warm and tight-knit fandom with almost zero drama and negativity. My only regret is that I didn't follow them sooner. I've said this before, but their creative director and stylist teams are some of best in the whole industry.
