Noro has been around for a pretty long time. (1960’s) You probably know it as stomach flu. I recommend not going to restaurants for a few weeks since how small kitchen staffs tend to be, they will still be working sick employees. As for how bad it is, I’ve had both, noro at its worst was worse than Covid, but it gives you like an hour or so of feeling normal after you feel the worst. Covid consistently felt bad for longer. For me it was 1 really bad day (could hardly keep down water). 2nd day of just sleep. 3rd day feeling better but stomach still churning was able to have soup, toast, and vegetables. 4th day mild churning but could return to regular diet.
