Mick Hucknall sounded good on the things I have seen. I saw a clip of Rod singing stay with me from a year or two ago and he sounded awful. He sang everything a lot lower than he did in the seventies, and didn't even try for the high notes. That is probably why he opted out. He knows he can't sing that stuff anymore. They are better off with Mr. Hucknall.
