Despite the fact that Xbox and Game Cube were more powerful than the PS2, the latter has an immense library of amazing games. The games make a console, not the graphics.

We will have to see how this pans out in the near future, right now very few games on both consoles (except for each companies select exclusive titles) hit pure native 4K. The games coming from 3rd party developers seem to not hit the mark very well when it comes to 4K and fps.

Brother Ares that's why I hate it when entirely new devs take over an long running franchise. Halo was fine ending at reach or 3 if you wanna go by main series. But now 343 is trying to suddenly give master cheif and edgy identity and have a cinematic story which isn't what made halo so fun. It is nice but they definitely arnt continuing what bungie had in mind, on top of the multiplayer being more generic
John Green Switch has proved specs are not everything since games can still look insane when done right. That being said more power is never really a bad thing in my humble opinion. My biggest gripe with the switch is actually a issue of not being able to back up my saves and such especially since storage is so limited with the switch. Thankful I have a decent sized SD to help with storage constraints.
As someone who plays both xbox and playstation. I like playstation more. The controller suits me better. The games are fantastic. What i see for both pro and x are the better gameplay at 1080p that everyone keeps over looking. Yes they have the ability for 4k* but smoother gameplay at 1080 seem like the better option for my house. At the end of the day i dont get why gamers divide over things like platform you play on.
Xbox can play some titles like Forza 7 and bla bla not to get into games at 4k 60fps or if u are Playing on 4k 30 like idk Assassin's creed idk if thats in 4k 30 u cab switch it up in 1080p 60 .... and the controller yea ill give u that people have bigger/smaller hands so it depends

I enjoy both consoles. Got the pro and X on a 4k hdr tv. If your willing to spend a bit of money on an upgraded base model, you can't go wrong with either system.
None of pc's exlusives can match the exlusives ps4 has, because 90% of them are multiplayer or some kind of indie games. Almost all strong and big pc exlusives are multiplayer.

Honestly, more of my friends own a PS4. This would be the primary factor in me going with a PS4 pro. The same could be said about the previous generation of consoles, where more of my friends owned XBox 360, so I went with it instead of PS3.

I enjoy both consoles. Got the pro and X on a 4k hdr tv. If your willing to spend a bit of money on an upgraded base model, you can't go wrong with either system.

None of pc's exlusives can match the exlusives ps4 has, because 90% of them are multiplayer or some kind of indie games. Almost all strong and big pc exlusives are multiplayer.

QUESTION TO ALL VIEWERS: I am stuck in between buying a ps4 Pro and xBox one X, and cannot decide. Everyone says it comes down to games/exclusives, but This is why I need your help. I'm not a hardcore gamer,a and I only plan on playing one or two games: FIFA and Red Dead Redemption 2. That's pretty much all I plan on having a desire to play. They're available on both consoles, I don't mind both controllers, and really have no preference of one over the other. Now, I just purchased a 4K samsung (HDR+10) TV.. So basically I'm wondering, is it worth it to spend 100 bucks more for XboX One X because it will make a difference for FIFA games in the Future? Or just save the 100 and buy the ps4 pro? Obviously I want to make best use of my 4K TV and future games... so any recommendations which I should buy? Thanks

Honestly, more of my friends own a PS4. This would be the primary factor in me going with a PS4 pro. The same could be said about the previous generation of consoles, where more of my friends owned XBox 360, so I went with it instead of PS3.

Half the reason I don't get a PC is because I don't want to deal with 12 year old modders that download mod packs with their parents' money and ruin multiplayer. Consoles do a good job of keeping that shit out.
