- In this video you will see how this polymer clay slab and then earrings are created. You will see all the detailed work, how to create the leaves and branches, the mushrooms and also the tiny fairies!
Actually, the whole slab was so lovely that we were almost sorry to cut it into the earring pieces :)
Material and tools:
• Conditioned polymer clay of various colours - we use brand FIMO
• Acrylic roller
• Slicer
• Ball stylus
• Needle
• Cookie Cutters
Total time: Creating this polymer clay slab took us(2people) approximately 5 hours. Do not rush, tiny and precise details need your patience :) You will be rewarded with a beatiful result!

Hi everybody! Thank you so much for watching our videos! Would you like to see additional video, where we would show modelling the fairies at slower pace?
Yes, please
It would be absolute pleasure..
Yes..that would be really helpful
That would be wonderful, thank you 😊
Yes!
So creative and adorable! You could just put a hook on the back of these and hang it on the wall instead of cutting them up and you have the world's cutest home decor!
Sooo freakin adorable! I'd try to have that whole thing hanging from my ear just because I wouldn't be able to bear cutting it into pieces! lol
Exactly! We were also like: Nooo! We cannot destroy it 🤣 but the earrings are super sweet too ❤️
thank you for the good chuckle Jewelry Lane!
@@bonniefaltz9505 You are very welcome! I know I laughed in my reply but I was probably partially serious. DOH
I was about to say that.. It is a very tough decision.. 😣
Lay it onto an old Altoids's box with the liquid sculpy and bake it.. You will have a cute jewelry box to put earrings in
My my.. 🤩🤩🤩
I lost word after seeing the detailed work.. I just don't know what to say.. This is incredible..
But one thing for sure if I could ever make them which I'm a little bit confident that I will..
I would never cut that slab into pieces.. 🙃
You could frame this wonderful piece of art! Such wonderful details!
Thank you Bonnie!

These little clay paintings of yours seem almost to special to cut up. Yet, when you do, so many even tinier equally special paintings show up! Nice work, and very inspirational. 😉👏👏👏🌱

Super
How can you cut into that? So beautiful
Beautiful artwork! Please make a video on what materials and tools you use or recommend.
Thank you Elvia, that is a good idea, maybe we can make a video on some basic tools sometimes soon :)
I adore this! When you bake this the pieces stay? I'm new to this so I'm learning 🙂
Thank you! And yes, on the polymer clay package are baking instructions, so when you are done modelling, you bake it and the clay hardens in the oven ☺️
this tutorial is really cool .
may i suggest you something? i think it would be better to use a soothing BGM for the video.
and i really like this tutorial. 😃😄
Thank you Ishrat! Yes, it’s difficult to choose the right music, we are also trying to make the music non repetitive, maybe this one was not the best, but we are happy you like the tutorial ☺️
@@MyVian good luck :)
Do you use an oven for your art or do you allow it to air dry. What kind of adhesive do you use? Thank you in advance.
Hi Andrea! We are working with polymer clay, this has to be cured in oven, to become solid. And about adhesive- there is none ☺️ polymer clay does not need that, curing does the trick ☺️
Nice. I wish you would teach how to do this❤️
Hello Mz Dee! We hoped all the modelling work is visible and clear from the video, what info do you miss? Feel free to tell us, so we can improve :)
MyVian Well, slow it down. Show us step by step. Show us what products your using, including the tools. List the items as well in your description box. Give us tips and best techniques. How long, if so, do you bake???? I’m sure you would gain a larger audience if you do. If that’s your goal. If it’s just fun for you not teaching. Then, that’s your prerogative. You do lovely work, as well as others in UA-cam. I understand if you don’t want to. Most do teach here. Some don’t ❤️ If That’s your way I can unsubscribe. Because it serves me no purpose to watch.
@@mzdee11 Thank you Dee for your insight! Our purpose is to share what we know about polymer clay -with all of you here. It took us many years to learn and if we can make this learning path shorter or easier for somebody else, that would make us super happy. Your feedback will help us make better video next time! For this one, we can add some more info in the description box :)
MyVian Your very sweet❤️ Thank you so much☺️☺️
Do you seal you peices with anything, with such such small details I was wondering if you do? If so what do you use?
Hello Jessica! No, we don't seal it with anything, just baking, sanding and that's it. Actually the sealants are what often lowers durability of the finished piece..
@@MyVian thank you very much!!!! I have just started working with clay slabs like this, and have watched quite a few others do them as well, and no one ever mentioned using it. I am so very glad you were able to answer before I sealed my peices!!!! Your a life saver!
@@jessicalee7727 some people are definitely using it, but we don't :) What you can try is to test it. Use sealant with a piece that you don't mind losing and you will see whether you like it or not :) But our experience is that the sealants can lose the shine etc. over time. Definitely make your test piece :)
How do you keep your hands so clean? Mine get so dirty, no matter what, when I work with clay. Haha
This actually can be challenging :D but what you can do is - to wash your hand before work and always when switching colours. Also you can have a little “dirt ball” - a piece of polymer clay which you touch and condition for a while before starting your work- this ball collects the dust from your hands and can be used many times :)
Hi! I'm new un this art, can you buff this pieces?
Sides and back surely! Fronts will be very difficult to sand and buff, so it’s better to work carefully so the further process is not necessary ☺️
Can we make this with air dry clay?
Hello! We make our projects with polymer clay, probably it is difficult to create the tiny details with the air dry clay and also maybe the air dry clay is not so durable. But maybe you can try it, why not ☺️
Hi .what clay you use???😍😍😍
Hi Eyad, we use polymer clay from Fimo ☺️
How you bake it please
According to instructions on the package-> 30minutes at 110 Celsius
My hands are so shakey I need to do projects a bit bigger. Lol
Sure, hope you can find some inspiration for your projects in our videos! ✨
@@MyVian your work always does so gifted. It just takes way long time to do it. Lol i do love trying.
