    Hi there! 1st of all, i love the slab. It's so beautiful. I'm new with polymer clay and practicing creating slabs. May I know if I can store the slab for future use? Like I'll store it for some weeks and use it later to make earrings and stuffs? Hope you can answer me! Thanks 😁

    • @StoriesMadeByHands
      @StoriesMadeByHands  2 роки тому

      I think it is always the best if you make slab to make earrings as soon as possible (to bake) - so you will avoid dust and you will avoid to mess details. What I am doing is that I mix colors and store this in some plastic box or plastic sheets. Just you need to be careful which plastic you are using for polymer Clay (because some plastic Polymer Clay can melt). It is save to storage in plastic that contains recycling simbol #5 (usually written on the bottom of plastic box).

    Beautiful piece! May I ask what temperature is it on? , I used femo and it got like burnt or at least the colors changed. Also do you seal the whole thing with like a glazing material or something ? Thank you for sharing!

    • @StoriesMadeByHands
      @StoriesMadeByHands  3 роки тому

      I am baking on 110 degrees as it is written and you can bake it 60 minutes it will not change color. I avoid using seal just Polymer Clay nothing more. ❤️🤗

      I am sorry, I really don't have any experience with homemade clay and as for polymer clay you really need oven because of same temperature of baking...

    • @StoriesMadeByHands
      @StoriesMadeByHands  3 роки тому +1

      Yes, just Premo is little bit more soft than Fimo so you don't need to use to much Liquid Clay. ❤️🤗

    Very nice VENEER. I don't know where this "slab" stuff is coming from. This isn't a butcher shop or a lumber Jack page where they cut slabs of meat and rough cut slab boards. Slab isn't very artistic and is quite banal to true polymer artists. So many other words to choose from: facade, mask, gloss, guise, posture, impression, charade, camouflage, illusion, cloak, leaf, pretense, vail but ..slab it is.. 🙄
