How to Make Black & Gold Polymer Clay Rose Earrings | Beginner Friendly!

- Hi everyone! This is my very first tutorial I've ever made, so let me know what you think! In this video I show how I make one of my more popular items on my website, "Black and Gold Rose Stud Earrings". They're made out of polymer clay (I use Sculpey for this video), and gold foil.

Are they relatively light to use or do you feel a little bit of weight because it's made out of clay? (I'm geniounly curious, I just want to be informed, thank you)
They are super light! It’s made from polymer clay which is a different type from ceramic clay, and it’s very lightweight ☺️

I would like to know what kind of glue can use with clay?
absolutely! so super glue (pretty much any brand) is one of the best things to use with clay as an adhesive after baking. If you want to attach things another way, you can use liquid clay (sculpey makes some found in craft stores like michaels, hobby lobby, joanns, etc.) ;then bake the liquid clay and it will solidify. If you want to see a video of different adhesives you can use, let me know! :) hope this helped!
Is this hv to bake?
Hi! When I bake mine, I use a small toaster oven, and I just put them on the tray that came with it. They take about 10 min in my toaster oven, but that depends on what the clay's instructions are on your packaging :)
How to bake them?
Hi! So baking instructions vary depending on what brand of clay you are using. The instructions are usually on the packaging of the clay to let you know, but for these earrings, I used sculpey clay. So I baked them at 275 for 30 min per every 1/4th of an inch of clay. I used a toaster oven which kind of bakes them a bit faster than a traditional oven in the kitchen, so I baked these for about 20 min. Hope this helps!
