I see a 95 for sale, says it runs and was used last year. Now it moves a little, like something is slipping. I'm new to this, any thoughts on what to check?"
Keenan Kelley the hydrostatic combines were rare did they work well. I've ran probably 10 different 95s none were hydro. my next combine was a gleaner L it was my first hydro
I would love to know how you got that head to run that fast ! My 95 corn special speed limit is the speed on the head cutting the crop and I can get no ware near the speed your running. But you got to love them old Deere's . Bandit
In rice farming country we had 95 R's that were rice machines and 95 B's that were bean machines but still used in rice. I've never heard of a 95EB. What was the E for ?
That is one sweet old 95. That is definition of cream puff for sure. Is your email, number still the same? I have a few questions as well. Thanks for sharing the vid!
John Deere was a good company back then(1967.) They had their machinery manufactured in the US which meant durability, reliability, and excellence in workmanship. Unfortunately from what I am seeing John Deere is now corrupted by the philosophy of globalization which is not good.
I say move everything out of the country. Nobody wants to work here and if they do, they want way more money than they are worth. Make them in Mexico and chop my price.
I had one of the 95eb my dad had two 95s they use to be one of the best combines out there.

To the engine fan is where it connects
Did you have to do a complete restore? Looks great...Thanks for the video..
A rotary screen makes them run a lot cooler than that up right inlet.
Keenan Kelley how does that screen rotate anyhow, is it mechanically linked to the engine?
On the newer Case IH Flagship combines, the belt is run off and electric motor and has a vacuum arm the keeps the screen clean.
Anyone know what the grain tank capacity is?
