Jesse, Lee. That 5th wheel looks brand new!!!! John Wayne did an out of this world job on it. Jesse, as far as those "little" pieces, all those little pieces make the difference! Dirty deeds will sparkle when your done.
Probably awesome! But these are made so that when the back fenders are on and the cab and bunk are on the stainless will be all you see of the frame. It's hard to picture with the truck apart like it is but it's gonna be Awesome when it's back together 😊

I wonder if Lee will let you polish the tank straps and no where I'm coming with the Mack when I can get it! Want to get you or rob to make me a bunch of parts for it...... You can get those dents out by feeling it with water then where your vent tube plumbs in reduce the fitting down to fit a big air hose the. Slowly heat the dented area and then apply a little pressure to the tank at a time till it comes out! Your welcome😉
If Lee needs to haul something he’s going to have to take that piece of jewelry off the truck!!!! I shudder to think what one kingpin would do to that nice shine on the 5th wheel!!!!😂😂😂!!!
Hey Jess I don't understand why you are using them dented up tanks because it kind of looks like there's all kinds of them laying around I don't know about their conditions or anything like that but if I was going to take the time to clean up a tank don't get me wrong for saying this okay because I love you guys but it looks like there are several tanks laying around several tanks laying around there please don't get me wrong okay but you guys are doing a hell of a job on that truck but I just can't see why you would do that and can you let me know how long his frame is frame is cuz it looks like it's about 30 ft but videos don't really do it justice when it comes to length but you guys are doing one hell of a job and you're getting a lot done considering you have to do it on a budget
You are right there are a lot of tanks laying around but we only had 2 sets for a Peterbilt and we chose the best we had of the 2 sets. The others are in much worse shape. The truck is stretched to a 300in wheel base. Lee added 40in to the original frame length. 😊
Hi Jessie Hi Lee a buddy of mine use to haul a lot of equipment to construction sites so he fixed his own fuel tanks what he did was cap off all the holes in it and put som compress air then take a rubber hammer and go around the dent take your time it might come out or it might not it all depends on how the dent is I hope this works for you both and keep the videos going my wife and I love the work that has been done on dirty deeds
Put the padded covers on the ends of the tanks.

Lee Smith, a nice Cat yellow pinstripes on the engine.
Just put end cap covers on the fuel tanks made of leather/vinyl or the Fiberglass ones that stick on with 3M tape
Jst put small drain holes on the bottom of end cap covers
I think we're gonna see if we can get some made to match the interior for now
