The USA amazes me... There are so many trucks just sitting around.... My husband would be like a kid in the candy shop if we were living in the USA..😂😂
Yeah as pre teen hung with pa at ol timers garage they were around during birth of car industry knew every top and tricks in car fixeshated Pintos Vegas called em. MAYTAGS
i like your channel.especially the old cabovers.I used to drive them way back in late 70s i started as a 19 year old kid.first truck they gave me was a 1979 international transtar2.man i loved that truck.400 big cam 13 speed it was copper with 3 stripes though it 500000 miles i put on that truck it only broke one time in nebraska the fuel pump dyed.back then no cell phones.i jacked up cab after coasting off to gravel road.a bunch of coyotes approached me at 2 am.i slept over steering wheel that night.cab was jacked up i slept over steering wheel that night then waved a farmer down in morning.them coyotes in winter looked hungry and i was their meal.no way waiting till morning
Man, I would have been all over trying to buy that little mini bulldozer and definitely that roll back truck!!! What are you doing???? The rollback would be super handy!!!
Bruntwear pants were gifts from my oldest daughters. They are incredible to work with. I am also a mechanic and those pants are comfortable as all get out. Now I can get a few more with the discount! You will love em. They have boots as well. And it’s truly affordable for blue collar fellas! I DO NOT Work for them at all but I really like the work clothes! Check them out. I’m fixing to put on my boots and head out to work. Brunt Boots!
I love the old timer “ I saw that on your web thing”. God bless his heart. I don’t often comment much.. But this is one of my favorites other than the Scania Videos. Love the older folk…. Aww Shucks I am an older folk…
Absolutely the best video you have made! they're all good but to hear the back stories and the last time it ran and the history and in the wheeling and dealing was the best! Drama and excitement! Keep up the good work and can't wait to see some of the tow adventures.
That green Freightliner caught my eye cause it's... green 😁, and a nice green at that, almost looks metallic. Bruce is blue, i am green, HEY we're the color gang 🤣
When I was working in the offshore oil industry our daily wear was denim blue jeans pocket T shirt safety glasses and hard hats. We wore steel toes boots with socks. The hard hats, safety glasses and steel toe work boots were an offshore requirement when you were on deck during working hours which were usually 6 am to 6 pm. I think I kept Walmart in business with buying work boots. Don’t remember the name of boot manufacturer but I would buy two to three pair at a time to have back ups when needed. Did the same with my tennis shoes which you can wear when work hours are over. What was good is all your work clothes were a tax write off.
I will say this this was one of the best videos that I've seen from you so far and I've seen all of them I like the fact that you put the prices on there and you dickered and wielded deals with the old timer I think that was the most interesting part of the whole video 👍👍💯💪...
I like that you are hookup in front so much safer. And you don’t have to cross over your safety chain because you’re lifting spots are so much faraway compared to pulling a normal car. Just a tips 👍love your work and videos keep up the good work 👍
Your market for those older semi trucks is probably better in Mexico/ Guatemala they seem to keep older trucks down there a lot longer and have seen on on UA-cam some buyers buying a lot of the old ones and piggybacking them across the border
I wish you all the best new Venture in your business I'm an old truck mechanic myself LOL no computers at all I remember I had to adopt and go to classes and learn what the computers were doing I'm now retired because of my stroke like I said I wish you all the best luck in your new endeavor
Enjoy your show speak my language 55 years later. I have put a wrench to everything that you have viewed or I have memories. All I have left. Very cool thanks.
Ok i definitely hit the 👍 on this one, that man right there is a cool dude, genuine ,hard working, good guy, cracking me up with you 2 bidding back an forth, that was good,
Ya think one of those trucks will or could be a giveaway or ya gonna stick with an old Cab over again in the future? Keep up the great content!!! I'm Still Very Proud of You!!!!
Most of the time those ford pickup with the hydraulic clutches the fire walls were week and they cracked it was so common that ford actually sold 2 different repair panels to 'fix it' and when they cracked it was like the clutch was bad and wasn't engaging enough to change gears and it really wasn't the hydraulic clutch slave cylinder it was just the fire wall flexing when you pushed the clutch in check it out I've fixed a shit load of them with the patch plates from ford
that black long nozed pete you have makes me drool.back in early 80s i worked for this trucking company they had 150 trucks.they finally bought one like yours everyone wanted to drive it.people where fighting for it so they had to have a meeting.boss said who wants to run midwest to cali back then noone wanted to lots of hands whent down.one guy said i will!still remember he looked like a toothless long haired hippy with banddana but he got the fine ride
People in Tennessee sure collect and horde stuff. And even if it doesn't run or drive they think it's worth top dollar. Bruce don't tell your buddy Tim he will buy this stuff out from under you
these trucks will be a good test to see if there is a market, I am guessing the money is in parts for rebuilding expensive trucks as they are too valuable to walk away from
@@Bruce_Wilson imma have my company hit you up and it’s a DD13 not 15 2018 freightliner cascadia day cab POS lol I gave my fleet manger your email this morning
The old guy is very likable, at least I like him. Probably have some more trips from his place in your future. Fun for me to see the actual horse trading so many do not put costs in videos I believe those that are not out front are missing out on many sales and trust from perspective first time customers who need to build trust. Ray
I was just thinking that, the old man 18:46/48:10 looks a lot like "professor Tony" from (ElderlyIron ) youtube channel and don't forget fluffy the shop cat too
Hey Bruce that was a really interesting video off you buying all off them old trucks from that wee man Don that was a interesting story he told you about another driver who ran into the back off another truck and did you buy that wee day cab truck so that you can move the trailers around your yard?
Glad see you doing this guna a good Business Bruce thanks for sharing bud guys have a great week 😎💪🏼🏁❤️uall later love your Peterbilt recovery truck man it's badass
Given today's market, these are good replacement chassis, motors, and transmissions. Given all the bankruptcies in the trucking business, you can go down and buy a good clean running truck for a good price.
A little off topic story from me, hope you like it I keep a lot of stuff around because of the crazy stories attached to it. The story sometimes makes something special. I found a piano on the curb, 1yr ago. It seemed in good condition, a mouse house in it but still okay. It sounded beautiful and I wanted it. It even was 300meters away from my home so I wanted it more. Went on YT to learn what to look out for, the red flags in pianos are like obvious cracks. It had none but I live in 3rd floor. Transported it with a wheel barrel for sacks or boxes in front of my house and hired professionels to get it up in 3rd. That done it needed to be tuned. Had that done and now the real good part: it holds tune(!). It needed the time to see if it would hold tune. Now I KNOW I have a good, saveable piano. In Germany there are five piano makers still alive and Sauter Pianos is one. I called them about mine, had a very, very nice talk with the company owner. One and a half hours later I knew my piano is made 1965 and we went on about life in general and cats. Mr. Sauter is a cat guy. So, I hope y´all appreciate a good story, I know I do. Kind Regards
The owner could tell you a different story for the next ten years and never tell the same story. A true southern gentleman.
Wait what lol
38:26 when pops started with that story sayin there was a mexican 😅😂😂
I really enjoyed that video with Mr Don, what an awesome and genuine fella. He had some good stories.

Hello from Siesta Key Florida
Hurricane Helena reopened Midnight pass after being closed for 35 plus years
Wilson these are some nice buys brother
Question : would you happen to know if that Tiffan Pheaton class A was for sale @ Mr Don's shop ?
hearing the owner of the trucks talk it sounds like he spent his life as an auctioneer
It still runs … the classic line … hopefully you got a good deal for all these turds What happening about those stolen trucks ?
Glad see you doing this guna a good Business Bruce thanks for sharing bud guys have a great week 😎💪🏼🏁❤️uall later love your Peterbilt recovery truck man it's badass
We were working near a gmc dealer and the window sticker on a 3/4 ton pickup was $82,000 bucks
I was looking at a RAM 1500 they wanted $72,000 was a power wagon.
Buy the 1693 ask if it’s T or TA and go old school and back it up with a 6x4
Or sell it to gentry for the Johnny Cash turd
Wow… that negotiations wore me out just listening to it! 😂😂😂
