Agreed! Or the chronic fatigue that comes with chronic pain. I could literally sleep at any time if I could. Once I'm out I'm out but sometimes I wake up constantly all night. I've talked to my doc about how I have e absolutely no energy unless I'm working. Nothing helps at all.
Zac being both the most impacted by sleep deprivation and the most capable of coping with the cognitive effects of sleep deprivation is an excellent representation of living with chronic illness lol

I kinda empathize with Jonny here -- on my bad days when I've gone twenty or more hours without sleep, I get pretty hyper and will just chatter non-stop unless someone stops me. So I was watching this and going, "Damn, Jonny is so tired that he's completely wired." It's not a pleasant feeling.

*Fun fact:* Lack of sleep can cause bouts of anxiety and even paranoia. Ironically, both anxiety and paranoia can cause insomnia.

I feel like they represent the three stages of sleep-deprivation.
For context, people have accused Jonny of cheating in a game in the past; like whole articles were dedicated to this idea when he was just shown making adjustments to his work, which everyone was actually allowed to do, and he had asked permission to make those adjustments. So, you know, let’s all be nice to Mr Cakes 🥺

@@DramaGeek77its from when he was on Is It Cake? and he had to put his cake version of tacos next to three real tacos for people to guess which one was cake, but he put obvious fake tomatoes on the real tacos so they looked fake (i hope that makes sense). Apparently the show said he could do it but they shouldn't have lol

I genuinely love that nearly every video since the beginning of the Orange Era has been "as long as there's 1 try guy, it counts" because I think we all love seeing more of the family/friends involved ❤ ❤ ❤

Especially because Keith has been going on various tours, Zach got married and severely injured and Eugene is just consistently incredibly busy- so it makes sense and I’m honestly kind of happy that they’re still putting a Videos so consistently and using these amazing personalities that they’ve had on before

For anyone trying to take melatonin to get sleepy, something to know is that if you take too much it can have the opposite effect than expected - so a higher dose won't necessarily make you sleepier. I didn't know this and always assumed melatonin just didn't work for me. Turns out, I'm just tiny and therefore even the smallest gummy is too strong a dose. Alas.
Also, their brains are probably already naturally full of melatonin. The more you resist sleep, the more your brain releases melatonin to force you to sleep.
Melatonin basically helps to set your circadian rhythm where it should be, that is all. Thus, it's not much use for acute insomnia but v helpful for jet lag and delayed sleep phase disorder.
Idk that’s wild! I take half of a child’s dose and it knocks me out for hourssss. Just thinking about it is making me sleepy.

I loved how all the guys (including Kwesi) have animal avatars & Jonny is a sad, leaning cake. Oh..& I LOVE Kwesi as a Koala, it just suits him. I can imagine Jonny as a fanciful bird like an albino peacock.
Becky is a fantastic host. So much charisma, and personality. Always loved her in videos. I am also loving Jonny being in so many vids lately. He & Kwesi should just become official Try Guys.

I LOVE the dynamics of the greater "family" being added. Kwasi and Johnny have been great additions as regulars & Becky is always a treat! Honestly, they all look like they are having so much more fun & the content feels less restrained in the Orange Era.

I always thought telling the months instead of the years was annoying until I worked in childcare. It’s because you do go by months as a parent. They grow SOOOO fast and every month has different milestones. Usually when they get to 2 years you stop really counting the months cause the leaps in development aren’t as rapid.
You're right, Becky just must not know any kids closely enough to ask about milestones.

daytime napping is a real thing in other countries. In Vietnam some companies let employees take a nap in a napping room or some people will bring a blanket and take a nap under their desks after lunch.
I think the opposition was to _daytime_ napping as a term, not the concept of a siesta/nap/tupplur/whatever, like a nap is a small sleep outside of your nighttime sleep, OF COURSE it takes place during the daytime. Daytime napping, as opposed to all the other times you nap, you know?
Johnny was criticizing the term „daytime“ as a nap is usually always done when it‘s daytime.
