In my country it is custom to proffer the scallop to one's guest, yes... But, in my country it is custom to turn the scallop dish round twice. Pissed myself laughing
loved the first two seasons of the trip immensity. . The dialogue, the academia, to which I have had little exposure. Brilliant. The Impressionism is funny and intelligent. The cinematic views extrradonary. I feel as though I am on a vacation I could never take every episode. Oh, and maybe my appreciation of language and poets and culture has become improved. I thank you. Claudia from Chicagoland. (Which means I don't live in Chicago proper, just a burb) Consider doing a trip to America. Love the exotic. But you can't get more exotic than Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives for real food culture. Other than Gordon Ramsay's 16 Michelin stars, or an authentic ball park hot dog anywhere in America. We each have our own. And our views are pretty extraordinary as well. Appalachia, the Bayou, the Colorado Rocky Mountains...and we have the Atlantic, Pacific aa d Gulf of Mexico...not to mention the 5 Great Lakes with ultimate heritage. I hope Steve and Rob love doing this for a long time.
The hapless pair, one pompous the other more likeable, the classic double act dynamic, Laurel and Hardy, Eric n' Ern etc. these two have it down pat, perfectly balanced duo
They are playing fictionalised exaggerated versions of themselves, having dinner, in different venues and improvising the conversation. For example: Rob's "wife" is not his wife but an actor playing her and Steve's girlfriends are not his girlfiriends in reality. This is how they get away with insulting each other as an act, but basing it on reality. A unique concept, if I'm right.
@@thedivinemrm5832 lol I love Steve coogan! I was just curious! And a little incredulous. Never knew a movie could be made with such… a small plot 😂 But then again, given the drivel being made now adays. Shouldn’t surprise me
1:08 goodbye Mr. Bond...priceless.
just can't get enough of their Captain Bligh lol
Sail around the Horn, around the Horn we will go sah! Damn your eyes, Mad Max.
I'm appreciating Rob more and more.
He was shellfish again
Currently the two funniest men on the world. Clearly.
Michael P. Shipley Honestly I have to disagree I didn't laugh once during this video. Different tastes I guess.
"You just got to be decisive about where you put your feet"
Yes. Without a doubt. Absolutely.
Coogan's John Hurt was amazing!
Yes Coogan is a really talented impressionist-the apotheosis of HIS career
The John Hurt, stopped me in my tracks!!!!
coogan is the next bond.
Mmmm....i thought Rob's Roger Moore was a taaaad better but both stupidly good
@@zeitakulobusta We need Brydon as the villain and Coogan as Bond.
They refuse to bury another Batman with the cute little pointy ears.
All I hope is that they are going for a 4th trip!
Airborne if Steve isn't beheaded by ISIS that is!
Trip to Greece coming soon 😎
that battery sound skit was great
It really was a very good John Hurt.

Steve Coogan should play Julius Ceaser.
They should BOTH play Julius Caesar. At the same time.
Yes, he has a very douchy face.
Coogans John Hurt amazing 1st time I'm heard it....
They're so good
Well the end was enough of a cliffhanger to suggest there will be another, and I certainly hope so. These are funny movies
I’d love to see and hear another Moore-off.
Excellent John Hurt!
the waitress is doing an impersonation of Manuel the waiter on 'Fawlty Towers', non ??
Could it be Coogans finest hour? I thought Alan Partridge reads There’s Something about Alan was, but now I’m not so sure?...
Fantastic! UK's answer to Diamond and Steel.

But are they as good as Dudley and Peter, or perhaps Peter and Dudley?
I love them
despise both thespian superdorks, but I'll watch it.
Fuck off, no one cares
@Pink Alien and you cared enough to tell him not to care about someone who doesn't care
@Pink Alien I don't care mate
where i come from it is the custom to proffer the larger scallop to the guest 😛
This made me spit my water out of my mouth
So is the trip just a movie about them? Having dinner? In different settings?

Yes, and it's funny.
You say that like it would be a bad thing?

SC’s John Hurt flirts with Ian McKellen.
It was great right up until the trailer.
LAB
Is that Ben Miller at 1:46?
No
expensively made, Hd, pretty looking tripe.
It is actually extraordinarily beautiful and an insight into their friendship, but you actually have to experience it...
It's not 'homemade Minecraft video' level of entertainment, I'll give you that
Wow, thanks for the hot take!
Thanks Dad. Back to your shed now.
10 minutes of a scallop turning contest - waste of time and money for buying this DVD!
True, should have been at least 20 minutes.
