This looks at the World Boss gametype before and after the 7.8 update, and then I give my thoughts on the good/bad things about this change
World boss has needed to be updated for a long time since it was taking seconds to beat, but now they have updated it, is this change for the best?

I think this is a very good update for lower br players,now they can get some gold aswell. Before the update they could not

I agree, rewards from castle wars seem to be more for lower BR players as well

This update also brings back the old advantage of Knight class (not Knighted). If timed correctly, Agoran Shield can absorb the boss' fatal strike twice! However this only benefits low BR players due to the capped reward. Guardian rune doesn't work though, so Mages & Archers don't see this difference.
