- Welcome to New Windsor!
New Windsor is a heavily detailed American Cities: Skylines city set in New England in late autumn. Watch as I do my best to build a realistic city inspired by Providence, RI and other New England cities!

Love the idea of setting it in Autumn and all the new fancy edits. Going to be a great series!
Hey two dollars twenty I was wondering if you have some unique ideas I can use to make a series
this video and more generally this series has inspired a whole generation of modded city skylines builders. soon New Windsor will be listed as an important city in the Cities Skylines community on the same level as Springwood, two dollars twenty or Nydal de Strictoaster. infact, it's already ranked as an important city in the Cities Skylines community.
I like how the beginning title for New Windsor had this death metal-like font on it. The first thing I think of when I think of upper New England is death metal.
Vital Remains \m/
Providence is southern New England
Western Massacre 🤟🏻
No New England City is complete without lots of trains intertwined into various parts of the city.
I only spent a day north of Boston, near Gloucester, and boy are you right.
Then it needs a football stadium 20 miles away.

Definitely build a colonial university, also maybe a port. You could maybe even have a neighborhood like the Back Bay in Boston on the river. The name of this neighborhood should be Merchants Hill. Looks Amazing!
Nicholas Donnellan he allready made a university
eriku eya but in that moment it was only 1 episode out.
As an RI resident, it's amazing how detailed this is coming out and resembles Providence. Incredible attention to detail, great job!
Love the autumn style! Looks great already! An idea: Get some more rain in the city. I think that would look really realistic!
Pelle yes, i would love to see cinematics with rain. But maybe not when he builds
Yes, I think it would be really annoying when he is building.
Very nice. I agree, someone really needed to do a fall/winter themed city, especially with more and more assets on the workshop tailored to it
impressed by the quality of these videos
definitely an underrated youtuber
you've just earned a new sub
Really enjoyed this episode and the new included production elements (i think I will steal some of them myself), but I think you're waay too hard on yourself. I don't think increased production necessarily correlates to increased enjoyment for the viewer. The main focus is always the game and you enjoying what you're building. All the other stuff is just icing.
I just want to improve the flow of the video, like not talking for 20 mins straight. Breaking it up is important.

Didn’t know the amazing king Leno had a yt channel. You’re the best asset creator we have btw
Near a plaza downtown, place a church or nice cathedral to fit the historical timeline of the downtown.
Ur gonna hit the prop limit fast if you place those leave decals everywhere.
I'm from the future. He doesn't. :)
im froom 2019 answer is no he wont
I’m from the real future he’s already finished the series sowwy
I knew it the instant I saw the picture with the church on Twitter!
The setting in autumn is great - I guess that is the setting many people associate with New England - at least I feel that way^^
How am I 3 years late to this series? I'm in awe with how beautiful this city is looking and it's just the first video! Guess it's time to binge watch this series haha. You got a new subscriber 💕💕
Glad you enjoy it!
I have my popcorn ready to binge watch is series ALL NIGHT yyayayayay
You mentioned that you wanted to make the experience more enjoyable. Personally I find that love recaps or voiced over cinematic tours. They show off the final product, and let us see a more complete picture of the build than just the timelapse and ending cinematics show. I think Fresh Popcorn does this almost perfectly, of your looking for an example.
*Wants the city to be like new england*
*places a bunch of buildings from Detroit*
Name that neighborhood Portsmouth Row. A little throwback to Rhode Island and the row house style.
Chester Decks would be a nice name for the neighborhood, since its a bit slanted but not steep enough, looks amazing, as a person who has lived in Maine long ago, this series brings me joy, if only we could have realistic New England fog...
As a New Englander, dude...you nailed it. Looks like most cities/towns in my area. Reminds me of Springfield, MA in particular. Great job, will be binge watching this series.
This is incredible. We're having an American city renaissance with everyone's new projects. I don't know how you keep topping yourself like this. I'm beyond excited for this series- this is going to be the closest anyone comes to my area.
For me, Bath, Maine captures New England. Ship building, Down East styles, cold, rugged. Full of hard-working ship builders, mariners, and fishermen. But maybe that's just because I've been going there every year since before I can remember. ;)
8:34 and 15:05 My eyes!!! Its too beautiful-- never been this excited and inspired after seeing one of your videos! Instantly #1 CS UA-camr! your right... this style & theme is super unique and I love that your again going ultra detailed since that is not what you said this series was going to be before. Anyway hopefully you can manage keeping both series afloat since that is a lot of work: (no matter how fun it is it is still draining) also I love the new format to have cinematics scattered thought the video... now people cannot just skip to the end of your videos lol
Dang it I thought I would be the first to do a New England type city. Yours will be better than mine. The city looks amazing!
Topaz Productions You don't have to be first to be the best..

before you even mentioned it being based off providence I could feel it and tell it was, I live in providence and this city you built 100% gave me the vibe
When you slightly lower the crack decals at 7:39 to get a more faded effect. Genius, never thought of that myself, will surely do it from now on!
Honestly you can see you increased quality production and entertainment wise, by far one of the most realistic and interesting style cities i’ve seen. Looking forward to more!
Pres out here starting ANOTHER series before I can even finish one haha. Great job man, I love the way it looks. Looking forward to what this series will bring!
Rewatching the first episode is interesting because of the massive transformation that has taken place
It's been awhile since I've watched one of your videos, but every time I do I get inspired to build again! Thanks for publishing these videos and keep it up!
SO SUPER REALISTIC. I REALLY LOVE YOUR WORK. ITS LOOKS LIKE LONDON. THIS ALMOST LOOKS LIKE REAL LIFE.
Great video! The city layout and detail are amazing. I'm a lifelong resident of Upstate New York/Hudson Valley and this is spot on. Fall and winter are my favorite seasons!
When I first watched your video on making a city that looks realistic by using mods, I thought the city seemed like something familiar. Excellent work! It looks and feels like a location in New England.
Amazing idea of setting it in Autumn and the new Google Earth edits. I think I will start watching you more frequently again, because this series is sure to be great!
Wow Pres mate, those graphics, just wow. Also maybe Panacoba, or Clinton as an idea
For suburb
Oh also you said you were looking to have more brick buildings and I just bought Avanya's European house DLC for $5:99 and am using the houses for my own american building since they are *all* brick and not really European, just use prop it up to shut off the vanilla hedges, some of them look very fitting-- also cool props come with here DLC such as dormer props to put of house rooftops, garages, a carport, and sheds. Anyway Its just an idea since at 11:17 you said to put ideas in the comments ;)
also btw in my honest opinion you should change the intro font to something more New England like -- Gothic newspaper style lettering maybe-- since right now it looks like anime superhero cartoon intro :P
Well, they are really European. But that doesnr mean you cant find them elsewear
I know i'm very late but I think you should name the neighbourhood 'Thompsonville' as it gives me a vibe from the small town that was next to my hometown of Enfield, CT. Btw it looks really amazing so far !! and very realistic already
You also should add, in a more low rise area, an old town/city hall and a one classroom schoolhouse !!
and that neigboorhood should def. be called Fenway square after Fenway-Kenmore in Boston
Pres! Definitly very cool with those google earth pics and little cinematics in between.
Nice idea with the autumn setting. For the suburbs you have to use the UK terraced buildings. There is a new version of those, which came out a few months ago.
Wow stunning. Can’t wait to see future videos
Definitly looks like new england, i live in maine and as i look at some of the later episodes it catches the type of road layouts and housing you would see all over new england
I LOVE this! Also, amazing job at reaching 10k subs! Neighborhood should be named Chatham Place.
Had to come back and re-watch this.
Loving this cityyyy
Good ol' pres. this series looks great
Skyline looks more like Detroit. I see the Ally Detroit, the Penobscot Building and the area around Woodward Avenue and Cadillac Square.
the autumn looks so fresh!
This reminds me of Chicago during the fall and close to winter
Pres I'm very glad that u based New Windsor on Providence I go there every summer and could possibly provide u with tips
Please do! :D
Pres in the surrounding neighborhoods of providence there are many 3 story houses that have 3 families in them and the usually are very densely packed almost wall to wall but the usually have a small driveway in between them I like to call them new England style homes
Awesome, about time someone do a Autumn town. It's my fav time of the year and plus my b'day is in Sept also.
I've decided to rewatch this series.
Call the neighbourhood Holyoke after Holyoke Mass. which is a town next to Springfield (pronounced Holly-Oak)
Is it weird that I have intense nostalgia for a videogame series?
Probably
Pres oh hey man
I just found your channel today, and I must say that I absolutely love it! I love how much detail you put into your cities! It makes me want to figure out how to use props. :)
If I didn’t just start watching this series I would say to decorate some houses with holloween things
Once you get done with this New England based city could you do a Midwest or Great Plains inspired city like based in Missouri or Kansas or Oklahoma or Texas.
Adam Smith I like your ideas, but I would also add the smaller cities in Ohio because the downtown for those is so interesting. Also the suburbs around those cities have an interesting array of history. Coming from someone who lives in Ohio, the neighborhoods were very specific and more recent as it used to be mostly farmland 60 years ago
I suggest you add in more low rise buildings, the brownstones are nice but use more to make the city seem more like a city and less like desolate skyscrapers. Also use suburban homes after the apartments, i live in the northeast and they are common with the smaller cities.
Damn this episode was fantastic! Keep it up
This is stunning, your attention to detail is impeccable and I think you video presentation is very enjoyable. I'm only playing on Ps4 at the moment, but I will be upgrading to pc very soon so I shall be watching a lot more of your channel trying to learn. If you or anyone in the feed can recommend some must have mods or assets for detailing I'd really appreciate it. Keep up the good work
such a providence vibe,
edit: haha it is based off providence, I'm from Cranston, nice to see some representation!!
As someone who lives 15 minutes outside of providence, I approve.
really interesting project, Pres. new series hype!
looking around at Windsor towns in northern New England draws my attention to Connecticut where the town is in Hartford county. Hartford may be a good name for the neighborhood.
I know this is only episode one but I hope you add Fenway and a nice old school university
Your video is so awesome.
Absolutely gorgeous, I love this build and your attitude towards content creation. Subbed!
you have the Walker Center on there in the intro!! in real life that's in SLC. The sign tells the weather forecast by changing colors or blinking.
This gives a Hartford Connecticut Vibe
Absolutely wonderful!!! I have been waiting for a fall New England city for forever!! Where in New England is New Windsor located? Let me know if you need any images of Vermont when you get to more rural areas. (Its not quite the right season right now but i'd love to help out). I think a small town based on Woodstock VT, would look amazing!!! I am really excited about this series!!!
I love ur new series and the ideas you have for it
whenever Pres upload a new video I always get excited. really looking forward to this serie I'm already loving it ;D
Something that would be nice in this game is to up load a photo and use that as an over lay on your city design
I like how crazy the road layout is just like in NE 😂 Anyways you need something like Harvard sq.
Ayeeee repin Detroit with the Ally building!
A SoCal series would be cool
Considering its a semi-hilly area, I think the neighborhood should be called something along the lines of Bunker Hill (But obviously not exactly that) Maybe Fortress Hill or something
Amazing job! Really realistic
For brick assets use the Old Town Building Assets collection
@Pres that looks awesome
yay! a new series i can watch!
This looks awesome Pres! Great job, keep it up and Happy holidays to you!
Awesome stuff! Definitely love to see more
I don't know if this is possible, but if you could do a farm, away from the city a bit, that is like a pumpkin patch, that would be a fantastic touch!
Loving it already!
A very delicious video
7:30
The parking lot only gets better
This reminds me of downtown Minneapolis
The nice fall scene
very nice!!
I think the Brooklyn theme on the workshop has quite a few brick buildings.
Neighborhood names: Westchester, Cogny, or Greystone
maybe you should record what you do on google maps separately and upload it as a non-listed video, so if we have 2 monitors we can watch at the same time or watch it in multitask mode or something like that
This looks amazing asf
NEW ENGLAND! YES!
Dude, you just got a new sub
i don't know why, but i like the name Buxton or Buxton Heights for the neighbourhood :)
try building a abandoned tunnel like the east side tunnel in Providence and the tallest building in Providence 111 westminster street or the superman building as people in Rhode Island call it is abandon and most of the new buildings are apartments and most of the offices moved out of Providence and moved out to areas around I-295
another thing is that Providence and the rest of Rhode Island only have buses and I think most of new England is the same. but Providence used to have trams.
I love the look of your city, i am a huge fan of the new england theme and it is very well built, but I wished you would also pay more attention to functionality and ecological aspects ... after all, what's it all worth for if the city doesn't work?
A city frozen in time. Stuck for eternity in a cold autumn day.
jesus, man.. you are so cool, those details... OMG 2 dollars twenty is here too xD daaamm
Wow, i like this yes
Somebody needs to make some triple decker house assets
