im not even a fan of this type of music but when i heard amira the first time i was positive this was something that only comes once in a lifetime, but it is so disappointing to hear remarks like yours and also from so called experts comparing her to other singers. no one seems to be willing to step up and say to the world this young lady has no equal, you see it if you look, the so called long time greats offering to "allow" her to sing with them, but in reality there is a long line of these more experienced and so called more talented singers waiting their turn to sing with here, very few if any are paying any attention to what i call back up when she performs with other singers. so why not pump your balls up and be strong and say the truth, she is better than what is here now, don't keep comparing her to less talented just to be politically correct. why do you think millions of fans such as i that have never once in our life listened to this kind of music are suddenly obsessed with amira

I have been listening to opera for 60 years and I have never heard anyone sing with such melody and smoothness in her voice and effortlessly reach the high notes like what Amira does and she is still a work in progress.

Timothy, while browsing through the comment boards of some reaction videos on Marcelito Pomoy's The Prayer, I read numerous comments requesting the reactor to to do reaction videos on this or that artist. Today, I tried making similar requests re Amira's Amazing Grace performance and provided the link (I just learned how to share and paste link about a month ago because of Amira 😄). Three reactors already commited to feature her. I just thought that it might help in introducing Amira to more people. Also, i thought it would be interesting to know what reactors (some are vocal coaches) would say about Amira's singing abilities.
Rainier: What an excellent idea! :-) It seems those reaction videos are becoming increasingly popular, and if some of them are vocal coaches, one would think they will be greatly impressed by Amira's singing. It will be interesting to see what develops, there. :-) :-)
Seriously. Nobody wants to comment on going from making cookies to world class in 18 months? No 10000 hours here. Sorry. God given folks. Can’t be debated. Proof that ability is given genetically sometimes. It’s great that she was born into a musical family and her spirit is so strong and kind to develope her talent quickly. BUTTTT........ one has to conclude that this ability was always there she just needed to take her focus away from baking for a short while. 18 months at say two hours a day ...... maybe 1000 hours ? And we are talking about a seven year old without any kind of instruction.
