Ruth Wilson absolutely nailed Mrs Coulter. One of my favorite characters in any book. Her daemon never speaking, not being named, and being a unique animals opens so many questions about her. The effects team did a wonderful job capturing the nuances of her daemons expressions and movements.

this show is perfection, first holistic fantasy show and got finished without being chopped off. Thank you for this. I will cherish this alongside Lord of the rings and such stories.
I really did enjoy looking at the new worlds because it wasn’t just pure CGI but had practical effects as well as CGI which I enjoyed.
I enjoyed looking at Asriel’s Fortress and seeing the contract between futuristic type machinery with the Intention Craft but the scientific equipment looks quite 1970s.
Also I enjoyed the set of the cave with Mrs Coulter and it looks beautiful and it was nice to see Mrs Coulter act as a mother for Lyra for a little period of time. Well, as close to a mother as she can be with kidnapping her daughter😂.
A very good balance between brilliant acting and plausible sets. So difficult to achieve. If the series were a film it would win an Oscar.
It was so good , one of my favourite series of all time .

Just breathtaking
I'm so happy the amount of on-set filming and set building they did. Let them stretch their budget on the required cg elements, like Daemons and such. It looks better and the actors have a much much better time in real places and built sets. The poor actors in other media who have to sit in a green room must go crazy.
Everything came together so well in this series. There is so much detail in the books, that showing it in a visual format gave me some clarity to some moments. Especially the ending, love how they committed to every bit, it's what brings the whole thing together.
